I am well satisfied with the service I have received.
Both my husband and I have received excellent service from the organization. The care has been very helpful in recent weeks; owing to my deteriorating health I have been less able to operate fully.
If I need any change in the daily routine the carers and management make sure that it happens.
I am very impressed with the care and kindness that both my carers have shown to me. They are very willing to do any job I ask them to do. They are also both good company.
During this time, I have never had any complaints.
They are so helpful, caring and approachable. Nothing is too much trouble. They provide an excellent service. The caregivers are a dedicated and knowledgeable team. Who my mother trusts, it is a truly caring company.
Home Instead have provided caregivers for 3 years to support my wife with a variety of activities in addition to significant amounts of personal care. There are currently 2 regular caregivers providing 11 hours between them, Monday to Friday each week. The care, kindness and patience towards someone in the later stages of dementia is enormous. Routine is vital, so is engaging in activity, talking about all kinds of things, even when there is little or no response. I cannot speak too highly of the quality of care and personal support for both of us.
All aspects of my father's care were discussed. Dad was treated with courtesy and respect and his views valued. His carers are a very good team with whom he gets on well. The core of his care team have remained constant and he has built up a good relationship with them.
We elected Home Instead Senior Care (Ipswich, Woodbridge & Felixstowe) because we had heard from others that they were very good and our experience has been the same. The visiting carers all appear to be well informed and there is never a bit of them not being enthusiastic or not wanting to do anything. The office staff give good attention to clients. It works well.
I find it all to my satisfaction.
Home Instead have been supporting my father for the last 3 years and I have always been pleased with the service, the care and support offered. As a family, a great weight has been taken off our shoulders, especially as we do not live near to my father. I have recommended Home Instead to other family members and would do so in the future. Heartfelt thanks go to all the caregivers who do such an amazing job.
I find all of the caregivers very good at all the various job I ask them to do and easy to talk to with an essential sense of humour. Kind and considerate.
The care given by Home Instead has been outstanding, the staff are all lovely and were happy go the extra mile to try to make things nice for my parents, often staying past their time if it was needed. I would thoroughly recommend them as an agency, they are very well run and efficient. If a carer does not 'clock in' then the agency soon realises that something is wrong and sorts it out.
The only reason we have stopped using Home Instead is that my parents now need full-time care which Home Instead, regrettably, cannot offer.
I have found the service provided is excellent.
The carers are helpful but not intrusive.
I would highly recommend Home Instead. Their service is both professional & caring.
After a fall in 2017, my mother was resistant to having help but we persuaded her to give it a go. Home Instead helped shower my mum three times a week. It was incredibly reassuring for us to know someone was keeping an eye on her at this most vulnerable time. As my mother’s health deteriorated Home Instead became essential to my mothers routine and as things got harder for her, we increased her help to every morning.
Communication with the team was always very easy and as a family, we struck up a friendly yet professional relationship with her main carer.
Our Mum was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's and the patience the team had when dealing with this complex issue was outstanding. My sisters & I can’t thank them, and especially her main carer, enough for everything they have done for her.
Home Instead is very well organised. The Managers have always been very helpful and supportive. I would recommend Home Instead to anyone needing extra help.
The service is excellent in all circumstances. The girls are friendly, efficient and aware of my needs.
They always want to be aware of extra needs however small and nothing is too much trouble.
I do not need much care but have good care when necessary. I find all the carers very helpful, polite and nice to talk to with a sense of humour which I like.
We were very pleased with Home Instead, who not only managed to overcome my aunt's suspicions but actually reached a place where she was happy to have them come in virtually every day.
I witnessed at first hand their caring approach on a number of occasions and would certainly recommend their services. My aunt has now passed away but I am glad that she had the support of Home Instead over the last few months of her life.
I have used Home Instead Senior Care in the home since July 2016. Initially at a time when my wife had been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and latterly for me alone after my wife went into a care home where she has since passed away.
During the entire period of seventeen months, I have found the care given to be first class with the carers dedicated to ensuring our domestic needs were satisfied. The caregivers are well trained and prepared by Home Instead Senior Care and establish a ready and easy rapport with their clients. We have had at various times four different caregivers each of whom, in their differing ways, provide personal and practical comfort and assistance to the client whether it be in the client's home or on an outside visit with the client. My future care needs are expected to increase with age and I would have no hesitation in seeking additional caregiver hours from Home Instead Senior Care to meet those needs.
I receive personal care each day, I also get taken out once a week by a carer. Wonderful service. If carers have "spare" time they look for useful things to do - ironing, cleaning, watering the garden/plants etc.
