Have great support for nan from the team she is treated very well and made to feel very comfortable when she was very worried about letting anyone into support her. She is given the time from staff to complete any tasks needed (taking meds, making breakfast, starting to take a shower!) and all of us as a family are very happy reassured.
Thank you for your positive feedback on the support provided by Belong at Home Wigan. We do our best to understand every customer and we are delighted to hear that your nan is happy with the service.
Myself and my mum were so pleased with the carers who came that we chose to continue with Belong at Home.
The carers are like friends to my mum and they treat her with so much friendliness, professional personal care and dignity.
My mum is now used to her regular carers and we certainly wouldn't change the company now as were are completely happy with the service we get.
We would certainly recommend Belong at Home to anyone.
Thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback which is valued by all the staff team. We are delighted to hear that your mum's experience of Belong at Home has been so positive and trust that it will continue to be so.
Belong at Home are brilliant. They go the extra mile to support me. Nothing is too much trouble and we have had some fantastic times together.

I have been receiving services from Belong at Home, for around 5 years my companion has always been there for me even out of work hours, he treats me as a friend and not just a person who they provide care for. Belong at Home has made living independent a possibility.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post your review of the Belong at Home service. We are touched by your kind words and will aim to keep our services to a high standard. Kind regards.
I cannot speak highly enough of the Belong at Home team.
I would recommend them.
We are delighted to know that you are happy at Belong Wigan and that the dedication of our Belong at Home team makes life a little easier.
Kind regards.
I cannot thank Belong at Home enough for the support they have given my wife. Having the same carer makes a big difference, it enables my wife to build up her confidence and see the same friendly face every day. The carers go out of their way, they will buy my wife her favourite food so they can have picnic's together. It's a pleasure to praise Belong at Home I honestly don't know what I would do without them.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. Our staff work really hard to ensure a friendly, homely and welcoming environment. It means a great deal to our Belong at Home team to know that this is appreciated.
There is no doubt that, without their support, Mum would not have lived independently for as long as she did. This could be anything from simply taking her for a weekly hair appointment, to coping with crises, such as several trips to A & E, keeping us informed at every step along the way. Time and time again they went the extra mile, and always with a smile even when Mum was being difficult.
Mum's care team responded to her changing needs superbly. The care coordinators were a constant source of sound and proactive advice. Neither my sister nor I live locally, and the support we received was invaluable because it gave us huge peace of mind.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this incredibly moving feedback. It was a privilege to support your Mum and it is crucial to us that we make people's time with us as special and positive as possible. It will mean a great deal to our Belong at Home team to read your comments and I will ensure they are shared with everyone. Thanks again.
All the care team are punctual, polite and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. They often go out of their way to see that the client is completely satisfied, even when the client is a little unwell on that morning.

We have been using the Belong at Home service for over 5 years and Dad has had the same regular companion throughout. The support worker visits Dad three times a week and has become a member of our extended family. He spent time to understand Dad's interests, likes and dislikes, and always treats him with dignity, friendship and respect. Over the years, he and Dad have been out on excursions and regularly to Reading Group, and they have helped with everything from coffee-making to haircuts! He is proactive and creative in adjusting his support as Dad's health varies. Dad's face lights up when he arrives; they have great conversations, discussing the news or reading a magazine; sometimes they simply sit quietly and comfortably together. I live a long way away and it's great to know that there is someone I can trust to provide dedicated companionship in addition to the residential care. This support has been hugely valuable - thank you.

The support and care I receive from nearly all of the care staff at Belong is excellent. There are a certain few that give 110% and go the extra mile. I like consistency with my carers and it did take a while for me to receive this, as I don't like taking showers or having intimate care with everyone. I like to have the same carers. I do think this is so important as you build up a confidence and bond with your regular carers. I changed my rating score from good to excellent as management are trying their best to get me consistency now.

Excellent staff, I don't know what I would do without them, they are so helpful in everything they do.

In the beginning of service ie. January 2016, I needed to establish and reinforce what was promised at the assessment ie. to use as few regular carers as possible to have continuity as far as possible. This is now in place which benefits both the service user mainly. Also to have a rota each week is helpful which I now receive via email. All is well and happy generally.

Constructive criticism:
Keeping the times consistent and giving carers more time to go from one client to another. Give my mum the carers she likes and prefers.
Thank you for taking the time to submit your review of the Belong at Home service. At Belong we are continuously looking at ways we can improve our services so thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you are overall satisfied with the service you receive.
