The initial consultation and regular follow ups with a manager have always made me feel that meeting our needs was paramount.
Contacting the office is met with a friendly courteous response and there has been no problem in making changes.
We have the same carer every week and she is outstanding - friendly, patient, positive and adaptable and it has been a real pleasure to get to know her. On the few occasions when Home instead has had to send an alternative carer, she has also fitted in well.
At present we only require one hour a week but I am confident that when our needs change and we need more time, this will be provided in the same professional manner which will enable us to remain together in our own home.
Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you're finding the service professional, responsive, friendly and customer focused. Please don't hesitate to speak to a member of our team if there is anything you need.
My relationships with my carers is a very large part of my life in care and one which I enjoy. Everyone treats my property respectfully, and I in turn try to be a good and generous client in return. Sometimes I think the carers could be treated to a little more consideration from the office staff in the distances they have to drive, otherwise I consider myself to be very fortunate to be within the care of Home Instead.
Thank you for your lovely review. We're so glad to hear how much you value the relationships with your Care Professionals, and we truly appreciate the respect and kindness you show them. Your feedback about travel distances is helpful, and we'll continue working to support our team as best we can. We're grateful to have you as part of our Home Instead community.
Recently when he needed evening care there was 3 occasions when there was no carer to cover. Luckily that hasn't happened since.
His regular carers have been kind and friendly to him and he will miss them as he leaves home instead to go into residential care.
The app was very good to keep in touch and we had piece of mind how he was.
The only negative comments I have are it was frustrating to have to give 2 full weeks notice to cancel a visit or be charged regardless. So plans always had to be done in advance. Also It would have been nice to have the option of a shorter visit ie 30 minutes.
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. We're so pleased to hear the care plan was put in place quickly and that it gave you peace of mind. It's lovely to know the app helped you feel connected and reassured throughout.
We always want our clients to feel comfortable, so whenever a new Care...
I congratulate you on your choice of staff. I have found them to be both cheerful and helpful and a pleasure to be with.
Thankyou for your feedback. I'm delighted to hear my colleagues are bringing you a smile.
My support helped me hoover and dust. We had a nice chat, and I will see her in a week.
Thank you for sharing your feedback! We're so pleased to hear the support helped with your housework, and that you enjoyed a lovely chat with your Care Professional. It sounds like a really positive day, and we're delighted to have been part of it.
It's been great watching my mother develop a friendly relationship with her carer; she looks forward to the visits which include assistance bathing, dressing, grooming and also some light housework. However the most important part has been the conversation she shares with both my parents, and assistance in activities like crossword puzzling etc. The highly personalised care plan and regular review from a care coordinator is extremely reassuring.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service. I'm so pleased you've mentioned how important the human connection and relationships are. In my view this is probably the most important single factor in maintaining health, wellbeing and independence and is a fundamental part of our service. We...
I have been having Home Instead care since November 2024. I had been in hospital, then a care home, since June of that year. The carers who come, in my case twice a week, are without exception capable, kind and a pleasure to have as helpers. They are willing to undertake whatever needs to be done, whether in the home or even the garden. I always look forward to their visit.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. I'm really glad to hear our carers have made such a positive difference for you since November. It's wonderful to know their visits bring you comfort and joy-and that they're happy to help wherever needed, even in the garden! We'll be sure to pass your...
Thank you for the excellent service. It is a relief to be assured that my mother is cared for kindly and efficiently.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're truly grateful for your trust, and it means a great deal to know that your mother feels cared for with kindness and efficiency. Supporting families and ensuring peace of mind is at the heart of what we do, and your feedback reassures us that we're making a positive difference. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's ever anything more we can do.
Lovely friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Always lifts my father's mood. Good value for money.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're delighted to hear that our team has made a positive impact on your father's visits. It's incredibly rewarding to know that we help lift his mood and that you find our service good value for money
From our very first meeting with a Home Instead coordinator, who visited our house to assess my husbands requirements, we were both treated with great kindness, warmth and consideration. Much time and effort and attention to detail was employed arriving at a personalised plan for my husbands care. The different members of staff who come each morning to help him, were all in their individual ways, extremely kind, helpful and sympathetic quickly striking up a good rapport, so, that he felt very comfortable in their company. We were both impressed with the overall service that Home Instead provides, often giving over and above the norm and would unhesitantly recommend them to friends/family.
Thanks for taking the time to provide such a comprehensive review of your experience. Our aim is to put kindness at the heart of our service and I'm delighted that this has shone through all of the colleagues that support you. Thank you for the trust you place in us and your unhesitating recommendation.
I hadn't really ever thought care would be like this. The initial discussions to find out about dad's personality and interests as well as his care needs led to a great pairing with a carer who he saw almost exclusively for a few years, bar I think no more than a couple of times when a different carer had to attend. They seemed to have got on really well and this helped with dads recovery.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. We're truly touched to hear how your experience with us exceeded expectations. Taking the time at the start to understand your dad's personality, interests, and care needs is something we believe makes all the difference-and we're so pleased to hear it...
So pleased we found Home Instead, enabling Mum and Dad to stay in their own home where they are happy. Set IP was smooth and we all felt our needs were the priority, I love that Mum and Dad tend to see the same carer most of the time, but they all are lovely, caring and professional. The office staff are very easy to contact & so helpful, even the newsletter is useful and informative. I'm so pleased we have this support for Mum and Dad.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a great deal to us to know that our support has helped your Mum and Dad remain happy and comfortable in their own home. We're especially pleased to hear that the set-up process felt smooth and centred around your family's needs, this is exactly what we...
So far, I am fully satisfied with the services I have received. If I need more help in the future, I will know what to do.
Thank your for your kind feedback. We are glad to hear you are satisfied with our services and know what to do in the future if you need more support.
Efficient service. If I have to alter the day of the carers visit - the office manages to find a replacement.
Thankyou for taking time to leave us feedback. We are pleased to hear you are happy with the service and we are able to adapt to your needs.
Mum's care has been excellent. She bonded well with her carers and enjoyed many chatty coffee mornings. The carers always asked her what she wanted done around the house and tried to encourage her to mix with other people.
Her care with Home Instead has unfortunately come to the end only because of her health issues and her needs which have become very complex.
I would certainly recommend Home Instead to other people. From the office based staff through to the actual carers all have been very welcoming, supportive and easy to communicate with. Even when we have needed them in an emergency they have not let us down. Thank you
Thankyou for your review. Your mother's Care Professionals have enjoyed supporting her and all the team at Home Instead wish her well for the future.
Always practical, very helpful, pleasant and willing.
Thankyou for your review. Please don't hesitate to ask a member of our team if there is anything you need.
I have been receiving care support from Home Instead for two weeks with two carers. Both in their individual ways have given me very personal help and have also been able to assist my wife by helping the domestic situation. I have no criticisms of the service so far, and have found my quality of life has been enhanced by the presence of these helpful and cheering personalities.
Thank you for your review. We're pleased the service has helped improve your quality of life in such a short space of time. Please don't hesitate to ask if there's anything we can do to further enhance your health, happiness and wellbeing.
Everyone + everything is brilliant. No complaints at all.
Thank you for your kind review. We think your Mom and family are brilliant too!
After being a client for the last year just two mornings a week, we discussed the need for increasing care by a further two hours. This would enable my husband and myself to lead as normal life as possible with the help of the carer. This includes shopping at the supermarket, hairdressers, doctors appointments etc. Their flexibility is greatly appreciated and we are happy to do that in return if a problem arises.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. We're here to make yours and your husbands life easier, safer and more enjoyable. Our service is flexible with this aim in mind and we will do everything we can to support you. Our team are grateful for the time they spend with you and the...
This was a very thorough review of mums complex care plan. Any issues or concerns that arose, were discussed at length and solutions, alterations to current care adapted and tweaked, were found and put into action. Where problems are more challenging or difficult to resolve, every effort was made to come up with a way forward. Everyone involved was able to make positive contributions to the review and the family and client were treated with dignity and respect throughout. They were listened to!
Thank you for your review. Home Instead Norwich have an experienced and skilled professional management team in place to ensure our front line Care Professionals, the clients we care for and their families receive the very best support available. Sometimes this is complex and requires input from a...
