We were so delighted with the excellent care our mother received. It was great to be able to keep my mother in her own home. The carers showed real kindness and continuity of care was so important to us.
It is obvious that the organisation values its staff as well as it values its clients and this teamwork ensures that they provide an efficient and very caring service.
Lynn, WOW! Thank you for this review - I will feed this back to the team, Thank you.
A crucial benefit of the service is its ability to respond to changing requirements in the nature and length of care required. All the people involved in arranging and delivering the service have been caring, courteous and keen to find ways to improve the provision.
Great to hear that the team have been responsive to your changing requirements and have strived to personalise the care. Thank you for taking the time to review us.
My care plan was very clearly set out, regarding my epilepsy and my carer adds to my quality of life, as she is so well matched to my needs.
My weekly shopping trips are now fun and I couldn't ask for anything more from the company. Friendly staff, a very individually focused service and reliability.
The clocking in and out system on the home phone has made me feel safe from the start. Thank you Home Instead for helping me maintain my dignity and live a 'normal' life.
We enlisted the care from Home Instead Senior care in June 2016 following a diabolical run care organisation care for our 90 year old father. From the first day, we have found the company to be approachable, professional and caring. Dad has received excellent care and has formed strong bonds with his carers. Regular meetings with his team leader has helped resolve issues promptly. It is with great sadness with failing health and eyesight the family has made the decision to move dad to a care home where nurses can attend to his medical needs promptly.
Home Instead Senior Care provides an excellent service twice weekly including showering my dad and support my mum to enable them to live comfortably in their own home. The lady who comes to them is friendly, professional and to quote my mum "a ray of sunshine". As a family, we cannot thank them enough.
We have found everybody very helpful, one or two better than others. All have been on time.
Very occasionally there has been a muddle with the arrangements.
I need care 2-3 times a week, 1 for shopping, 2 for ironing, 3 for some more varied cooking.
The other carers are all kind, well-being and very helpful.
Very pleased with everything.
All office and management are approachable and efficient on any requests I make.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the service I receive.
Dad enjoys the support from the ladies and his meals and the way his house is tidied. They are always punctual and friendly. Thank you.
Andrene, Great to have this feedback the Caregivers will be delighted.
I trust them and they make my life easier.
The standard of care and support have been attending when problems have been identified, they have been dealt with swiftly. Highly recommended. Thanks.
Bruce, thank you for your response and recommendation.
Home Instead have attended for three months. The girls that come have been lovely, warm and cheerful which as my father has dementia (vascular), it is just what he needs. He also goes out for walks with the carers which he loves. They are also very helpful in doing jobs around the house, dusting cleaning, changing my father's bed and cleaning the fridge, which as I work 30 hours a week, is so helpful.
Susan, Thank you for this review, I am so glad that your Dads care is working out well. Freeing up your time is something a lot of clients comment on and how that has given them extra time together.
Dad and myself wouldn't have coped without them.
Hi Lynne, thank you for your kind words, the team will be proud to hear such a review.
Great service
Thank you Sylvia
Great service from Home Instead
Ivy, thank you for taking the time to post this review.
After a spell in the hospital where my mother was recovering from a hip replacement, it became apparent that she would need some care at home. I work, so I needed to find help from a professional support. I have found Home Instead to have the professionalism and caring attitude that I needed. The support that I needed with my mother and the emotional support they have given me, has been outstanding. As I am fully aware my mother's health will deteriorate, I have the knowledge I will be able to call on the teams help and support through the next few years and that gives me great peace of mind.
Sarah, Thank you for spending the time to share your experiences, especially in being so open, in regards to the support we were able to give yourself.
Without exception, the carers were committed to her welfare and on several occasions stayed with my mother beyond their call limit when they were concerned for her health until a family member could take over. When my mother developed an infection, it was the HI carer who spotted the change in her condition and her prompt intervention ensured that my mother received timely treatment in hospital. The carers kept meticulous records and communicated ongoing tasks and concerns very effectively.
The area team leader was fantastic; she reacted swiftly to ensure that Mum's increasing needs were met and monitored provision closely.
Gwen, Thank you for this review - Alan and I are very proud of our team, and never more so when they have made such a positive impact on a family. Thank you for spending the time to share your experiences.
I have a lot of medical issues and consequently have a lot of hospital/doctor appointment. There are always in the morning so my husband can take me as I am wheelchair bound and my husband works in the afternoon/evening.
Home Instead Senior Care always arrives at the arranged time and my regular carers have become my friends.
So nice to read that our caregivers have become friends to you both, thank you for this lovely feedback.

Alan and Lucy were both attracted to the ethos of Home Instead. We knew Home Instead was right for us after seeing how we could make a real difference, not only to an individual but importantly how we would be able to work alongside other charities and businesses to support our local senior community here in Trafford. We opened our doors back in 2010 and have been providing at-home care support ever since, touching the lives of over 1,000 clients and thousands more out in the community.
Alan’s role is to build relationships & look for opportunities for Home Instead to contribute to the local community whilst managing the business side of the company. “I am currently supporting the development of our community magazine, ‘Live Well, Your Way. With it, we can promote local activities, resources, and support groups around the community, enhancing the lives of our neighbourhoods.
Lucy balances family life and her responsibilities at Home Instead particularly supporting Marketing and Recruitment. “Being able to provide employment opportunities that are sought after because of our reputation and seeing people grow with confidence is something that I am particularly proud of.” - Lucy
“We understand how difficult it can be for family members to balance their working lives whilst also trying to provide support to their family, young or old”. Helping people by building trust, sharing our knowledge, and providing our tailored service is how we can help transform lives. – Alan and Lucy.
Laura joined the Home Instead Team in May 2017.
