Well done carers!

The Radfield team are very good and essential to my mother’s care package. Without them, my mother would not be able to cope at home and would inevitably have to sell her home and live in a care home full time. We appreciate everything the team does from the company they provide, the food and drinks they make, the washing assistance and finally the trips out/walk they take my mother on (before the pandemic). I can not fault what they do, and we are so very grateful to the team for making sure my mum is looked after in the best way possible when she needs it most. She has Dementia/ Alzheimer’s disease.

Staff were punctual, presented themselves well, smiling and friendly. Wearing clean and smart company tops with the Radfield Home Care logo, put on gloves and apron (disposable). Always cheerful and encouraging. They gave gentle and safe, thorough care. I was assisted with undressing, washing (including feet and hair) and dressing. Making sure that I was comfortable and seated before leaving. A schedule of carers was provided for each day. Helpful administrative staff.

My Aunt was looked after very well most of the time. Some carers went the extra mile e.g. altering her skirts. The only downside was a few did not seem very experienced at using the microwave for the prepared foods. Not much imagination for lunch snacks at times and breakfasts. However, overall we could not have coped without their care and support as the family live a distance away. Thank you all.

Radfield have been very reliable which had been an issue with a previous care agency. Staff are all highly professional but also friendly and helpful.

Radfield cared for our Mum who has Dementia. She became wary of going outside so spent most of her time indoors. Radfield visited twice a day to ensure that she was fed and had her medication. They monitored her personal care and made she was clean and her clothes changed. They weren't just carers, they took the time to learn about her early life, family and hobbies, and they spent time with her mainly singing as Mum used to be on the stage and in a choir. Mum could be quite challenging sometimes due to the illness but they always treated her with kindness and respect. They kept us informed if there were any concerns regarding her safety.

The carer team are fantastic for my mum who has dementia.

This is critical since they recognise changes in mum and alert the family.

Care staff are excellent. They are kind always put mom first no matter what her needs may be. I just wish the office would not send some weeks as many as 7 different members of staff as this unsettles mom.

I have been fortunate enough to receive care from Radfield for a number of years and can only say that the care I have received has been excellent.

I am finding the home care workers very helpful, friendly and happy. They are all enthusiastic about their work and are very caring. They have opened up my life a lot. I am not so isolated now thanks to them. Managers in the office are very knowledgeable and helpful too, well done!

I used them after my mom came out of hospital - phoned them up at 4.30pm on the Monday and they were in place the very next day following a comprehensive assessment. The only reason I will no longer be using them is due to my mom changing to a different care setting. They have been angels on my shoulder and Mom always loved and responded well to them. I have used care for my mom for 2 years now and only just found Radfield a month or so ago. If you are looking to review your agency please consider Radfield as they will be an extended part of your family you wished you'd found sooner.

Your homecare service is excellent. We would definitely recommend your homecare to everyone. The staff who cared for our mother were excellent, caring, supportive and understanding. Sometimes our mother could be quite cantankerous but they showed respect.
