As the first home care provider in the country to be rated 'Outstanding' three times in a row by the CQC (most recently December 2020), the Home Instead (Wimbledon and Kingston) office is very proudly owned by Clare Jefferies who herself struggled for five years to find the right sort of care for both her parents who were terminally ill.

Have always received good care and attention from my team of carers. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
Home Instead have been providing a carer service to my friend since the end of December 2019. The company was able to put this into place at very short notice and has continued to provide excellent service since then. My friend lives alone in a flat and the small team of ladies who look after her, visiting twice a day, has been a lifeline providing assistance with dressing, laundry, cleaning, tidying and more recently with shopping and food preparation. They have also provided great companionship and got to know her and she enjoys hearing about their families. The management of the organisation is exemplary, with regular assesments and daily visit reports which can be viewed by myself and by members of her family overseas using an app. This enables any issues to be identified early and addressed. I heartily recommend the service.
My experience so far has been satisfactory. It is based on only a few visits as the lockdown constraints were imposed soon after I started. My visits have only just started with a new carer but to date, both carers have been very caring and understanding of my wife's condition and shown empathy with her.
Such a revelation after our previous carers. We know what we wanted after our previous experience, and our expectations were fully understood and implemented.
Until the coronavirus lockdown, carers from Home Instead (Wimbledon) had been providing my wife with personal care and support for up to 8-hours each week for a period of three years. All the carers were wonderful: sympathetic, supportive and helpful. They made my wife's life more comfortable as her mobility diminished and they displayed great patience as dementia, secondary to behavioural variant frontotemporal degeneration, ate away her brain.
I would have no hesitation in giving them the highest accolade. Nothing was too much trouble. Although I was able to provide most of her personal care, their support meant that I could have a little time for myself every week. Their support has been invaluable. My heartfelt thanks go to all of them.
We have both been clients of Home Instead Senior Care from 2015 and since that time we have only experienced, maybe once a year, when we have been let down. We have both found the carers have been well-trained and understanding of the situations they have had to cope with. We have become friends and they are absolutely trustworthy.
Considerate, warm, inspires confidence.
Home Instead are good communicators; so all the needs of the client are considered and acted upon. The carers are all very caring and keen to do the best they can for the patient with understanding and dignity.
We get good service. The carers are thoughtfully kind and always willing to help if there is a problem. We would be lost without their kindness. I am impressed by how the carers remember where things are put. It is good that we nearly always have the same carer. This way they really get to know the client and are able to talk to him about things he is interested in; makes his day. Washing him is done with great dignity.
We have a very good relationship with our carer - she is excellent.
Very good service.
I am very happy with my carer and the care company.
I have always been very happy with Home Instead. If I have any queries; they are dealt with very quickly. The carers I have are wonderful, real carers. The care is quite expensive, but I always say "you can't take it with you".
No complaints at all.
Would recommend Home Instead to anybody.
Home Instead has given me peace of mind. My Mum has Alzheimer's so everyday tasks are difficult. My Mum is unable to do everyday tasks like personal care, cooking meals, keeping the house clean etc. The carers do all of these things, also give twice-daily medication. The same carers are used and I am informed of any changes, also if Mum is unwell. The carers are very patient with Mum and treat her with dignity. I will be using Home Instead for myself when I need to.
Having experienced different carers for quite some time, the difference in care, professionalism, with Home Instead is outstanding. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
Thank you so much!
It was amazing that all my mother's regular caregivers managed to find the time and change their own plans to help and to be a companion to my mother when I was ill with flu. They usually only do nights and juggled themselves to be able to look after her during the day. They were special stars and took her out in their cars and kept her happy.
Home Instead Wimbledon is the first agency I have experienced. It provides carers to sit with my mother when I am out of the house. I was apprehensive about using an agency but was recommended Home Instead Wimbledon. I can only truly form an opinion from my experience which is that this agency has been truly outstanding. I can hardly believe how efficient it is and the very fine, suitable, well trained, kind carers provided: my mother adores them. And behind the scenes the organisation is supreme. Different requests or changes to normal are taken in their stride and there seems such genuine courtesy throughout the operation. Brilliant. How fortunate we are.
This review has brought tears to my eyes! I set the company to provide the best care we possibly could to our clients. And judging by this review - we really are getting it right! Very very proud!
On behalf of my wife, I’ve been a client for at least six years. In the early days, Administration was rough, particularly in the area of billing and provision of locums.
Those rough days are long gone. Administration earns 10/10. Accounts are rendered on time and the management of locums is faultless.
We are fortunate to have had the services of a top carer throughout our association.
To go further would be OTT.
My parents look forward to each visit and the carers are all patient, professional and knowledgeable about my parent's health conditions.
I have complete faith in the team and they have provided me and my family much needed peace of mind.
