I have been extremely happy with the care provided. All the carers arrive on time unless delayed by traffic hold-ups.
The team is a happy band of girls doing a good job.
Pleasant people work well and thorough.
We do find them expensive and occasionally the timing can be awkward especially if they turn up earlier than expected. This can be intrusive if we are watching a particularly interesting programme on television.
I am a live-in carer for a mutual client - carers from Unique Senior Care come to give me breaks. I gained a lot of information about our client from the girls as they were in place already when I came. I found them to be really helpful. As we are in an area with limited bus service, a couple of the girls in their own time took me out on my break to give me a change of scenery. They are also very good with the lady who I care for.

I cannot speak too highly of the standard of care provided by all the carers from Unique Senior Care. I could leave my wife with them completely confident that they would help, entertain and provide any assistance that was necessary. I agree the cost is high but the standard of the carers is even higher
On the whole, the level of care is excellent. Inevitably levels of competence among carers vary slightly but all appear committed to clients in their care and are very kind and caring.

- Good forward planning with monthly rotas.
- Office staff always polite and helpful but I am not always aware of who I am talking to and their role.
- Scheduling has been inconsistent in the last 6 months of the year.
The personal care for my husband is very good and considerate. Patient and kind. General support is fair. Carer does not seem to see what support is needed without being told.
She is very willing and very helpful. I look forward to her visit on Monday mornings.
Friendly and efficient service provided by the carers.
My daughter set up care for me after a spell in hospital in 2015. It made recovery possible and is now more for my children's peace of mind than a necessity, but the companionship is much appreciated as I live alone. Management know that I can cope and if they have a crisis and a carer cannot come, and hours have been reduced. Personally, I am satisfied with this branch of Home Instead.

Meet the Team (2)
We are delighted that Nikki is the Registered Manager for our service in Stratford on Avon.
With over 20 years of care experience, she started her career in care at the age of 16, working in a care home looking after the elderly, whilst also studying at college to gain her Health and Social Care qualifications
Nikki is now a very experienced Care Manager, having worked in a range of different care settings from private and public hospitals, care homes, home care and including 18 years working with Mencap supporting people with Learning Disabilities.
A huge advocate of elderly care at home, Nikki fully understands the benefits of physical and mental wellbeing of both her clients and her support team and she truly believes in the right for everyone to be able to live safely, with respect and dignity in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by the things they know and love.
Nikki loves getting to know our customers and their families, as they are all unique. She also understands the benefits of listening to their life stories, and hearing about their interests and wider families; as this enables her team to really know the people they are caring for and make each visit count and make them happy.
Outside of work, Niki has two children, two dogs – one of which weighs more than her two children and enjoys getting out in the countryside for a family walk.
Nyree is a Care Supervisor in our Warwickshire office and works alongside Nikki our Registered Manager.
