My mum was very resistant to putting any kind of care in place, but Unique Care have provided friendly, reliable people. My mum has a regular carer and backup carer, whom she has come to know and now relies on this service weekly and looks forward to the shopping trips and the company. The team answer phone calls quickly and are great at giving advice. They are experienced and understanding about entering someone's home, especially someone who is not keen on the idea at first. We absolutely recommend them.

My mother was so set against having a carer, however, Unique has worked wonders. Unique paired a particular carer with my mum after careful consideration and now, from being so set against having anyone looking after her, she looks forwards to her visits and is comfortable with the carer giving her a shower and getting her dressed. The carer is seen as a friend rather than someone who is doing a job. Definitely one in a million. Many thanks.

We have been very happy with Unique care. My mother-in-law looks forward to seeing her carers. They have also been quick to spot any signs of infections. The lady in the office who schedules all the visits, is very responsive and helpful.

I have just had a leg operation. I use Unique twice a week to take me shopping or to have a coffee. After my operation, I had a live-in carer for four days and three days, three times a day. They were excellent and gave me peace of mind as my family work. I had excellent carers, nothing was too much trouble. They are my friends. Thank you so much.

My carers were always on time. One showed an interest in how I was as well as doing all the tasks that are needed, such as breakfast and every meal. They also attended to all the help I needed, when I came out of hospital, with regard to washing etc.

From July until November, I needed first of all daily help and as I improved, help was needed less. Everything has been done to the highest standard and all carers are kind and supportive. Receiving a monthly timetable was useful and punctuality good. There is little more that I can say other than I would recommend Unique Care most highly.

Having looked for suitable carers, it was hard to find reliable people. I contacted Unique Senior Care and although it's early days, straight away it feels as though they have always been here. My Dad is well looked after by experienced, personable, caring people who are also local. Great find. It puts our minds at rest.

We have used Unique care firstly before my father passed away to support my mother with his care, and now sadly also with my mother who has Alzheimer's'. The two main carers are wonderful. One looked after my dad and is now looking after my mum, and is a great friend to my mum and goes over and above. The second, who is newer, has been brilliant at supporting Mum in her diet and so many other things. I don't know the others so well, but have no complaints. The office has been great at managing the various medical appointments. I would definitely recommend them.

Extremely caring and thoughtful service. No 'hard sell'. Given me great peace of mind. I would recommend them to anyone.

Good care. Attention to detail depends on which carer attends. Personal care is very good. The carers are always chatty and friendly and engage well. Meals are reheated and sometimes overheated, but good, on the whole. Some carers miss early signs of infections - this has been raised with them. The care, on the whole, is very good. Interception for skin issues/sores is generally good. Liaise with incontinence team - very good. Keeping next of kin informed is improving.

Unique Senior Care has provided an amazing service. They have been helpful, flexible and quick to respond. The care they provide is excellent. In addition, when my friend was admitted to hospital the carer present went the extra mile, reassuring my friend until help arrived. Since then they have followed up regularly and been quick to answer questions.

All the staff I have had have been so, so good to me and I get on well with them.

No real problems. Staff are normally excellent. Management communication can be a little hit and miss. Has improved in the last three months.

After an accident that left me unable to do much, I reached out for help. Both the office staff and caregivers were really helpful, setting up care immediately. All of the caregivers I met went beyond to help and allowed me to keep my sanity.

Very impressed with the quality of care and friendly staff. My mum's carer quickly established a strong rapport, was always ready to go the extra mile - eg, brought her own soup maker. Also, she scoured the house to find extra things to do without being asked, such as wiping doorknobs.
