Reliable, caring service maintained. Shadow training is a good system. Knowledgeable, helpful, instil confidence when regular providers visit. Cheerful during the Covid period. So far, a great help between client and carer.
Quality of service is reliant with who is on duty. Generally good.
My mother (86) had broken both wrists in a fall and required extensive care with all aspects. While it was possible to provide some care the most important and trickiest element surrounded her personal hygiene on a daily basis. All the Nurseplus carers provided a friendly, considerate and tremendous service in returning my mother's dignity during this period. Incredibly friendly, cheerful and reliable. We cannot praise the service provided enough.
I am very grateful for all the help and attention I get. It's so nice to know I have someone calling to see me each day. I don't know how I would manage without them. Thanking you all.
Having been served by one care package already, it was very refreshing to have a change of company and a new direction in difficult times, with Covid-19 at it's height. Nurse Plus proved themselves to be well up to the job and we are so glad they serve us today with a very professional approach and caring attitude. Many thanks to all of you.
The carers who have been nominated to me from the very first visit, to date, have proved themselves worthy carers, each and everyone have been polite, willing and enjoyable for me to have a chat with. My main use for a carer is to do a daily needs i.e., bread, milk etc., shop, and they have completed my list perfectly, sometimes buying something I had forgotten. Honesty is a great factor with them, and I trust them completely.
I am 89 years old and suffer with all the normal old age problems plus epilepsy. I greatly value and appreciate the help, support and kindness I receive from the Nurseplus carers and staff.
We are very pleased with Nurseplus. They are very helpful and treat my Mum with dignity and I know I can trust them when i'm not there.
If an earlier slot becomes available (eg 10am and 10:30am) I would like to be considered.
The girls (ladies) are the lynchpin of Nurseplus – Homecare Services (Plymouth) who work over and beyond the norm. I regard them as my eyes and ears to the outside world as I am totally housebound. All the girls (ladies) are kind and caring and make my life worth living. My only problem lies with the office as the lack of communication and support to the clients and staff. The support to myself has improved recently but the branch here in Plymouth appears to have lost a lot of good staff - very sad!
The ladies who call on me are very helpful and kind.
I am fed up of carers coming without PPE and saying no one else asks them to wear PPE.
I am fed up of carers coming with hair down, nail polish, wearing bracelets, with watches and unremovable friendship bracelets and rings with lots of stones which they are unable to remove as they have been on for years.
My carers are just that. They care. They come in all weathers, they are thoughtful and I couldn't manage without them. I have every respect for them.
I do not have the same carers but I would like to be able to have the same girls, not so many different ones at times.
Overall I am very happy with Nurseplus. If ever I ring the office, staff are able to answer my questions. There are occasions when I have not received a completed rota and this does cause me a little anxiety. The majority of my carers are very good. I do get anxious when I have carers coming into my home who I don't know. My care does mean I am able to live in my own home and whilst my independence is limited I am able to make day to day decisions for myself.
The standard of care is very good. The carers are always helpful, friendly and polite.
Everything was 100% good, appointments, lady who did the review.
Thank you for you kind words Linda - we appreciate your feedback.
I am pleased to have a regular carer who is very caring.
I'm very pleased with my usual carer, although an occasional one is hopeless.
A very good support service.

I have worked in the care industry for over 18 years. I started my journey as a carer and worked my way up to being a Registered Branch Manager. I find my job very fulfilling and rewarding helping to put smiles on people’s faces. I am just about to finish my Level 5 diploma in Team Management.
My name is Samantha Guy, known as Sam. I joined Nurseplus in November 2018 as a Field Supervisor. I have worked in Domiciliary care for about 9 years. Previous to this I was a Learning Disability Nurse. I care about providing good quality care and always strive to support our clients in maintaining their independence and self-advocating in their own homes, working together to provide the care they deserve.
My name is Beth. I started as a carer in 2020 and my previous roles have mainly been supporting young adults with complex care needs. My goal is to be able to support all of our clients to maintain their independence and remain living in their own homes.
