I was recovering from major spinal surgery and needed an hour's help a day for me and around the house for several weeks. I had a variety of carers to help, all of which were kind, helpful, capable, and a real pleasure to have in my home. I am a very independent person and so like to be able to do what I can, but have restrictions during my recovery and each carer totally understood the brief and treated me so I could do certain tasks myself and help me with other tasks. I enjoyed their company and the fact that they just understood straight away what was needed, with minimal explanation. The care planning app made it super easy for me to track who was coming and what time and communication from start to finish was clear and easy and I felt really supported in this time of need. Doris Jones are a great company, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needed help.

An extremely well run & efficient 'Carer' business who are easy to get in touch with and to make changes, to existing Care arrangements, when required. A very friendly and approachable team who contact us immediately if any issues are discovered during a Carer visit. We keep up to date with visit outcomes through an App which allows us to also see future visit times and names of each Carer involved. We have been dealing with them for 6 years and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone considering taking out Care arrangements for family or relatives.

Doris jones is a brilliant company , they looked after my mum for over 2 yrs but unfortunately we had to put her in a home , the staff and carers are very caring and meet to all the needs wanted. I was very upset having to finish the contract.

Before engaging Doris Jones, another care provider had become increasingly unreliable. Visit times varied by up to four hours with no notice, required tasks were often skipped, and on occasion visits were missed entirely while attendance was falsely claimed (and charged for).

From the moment I made initial contact, Doris Jones stepped in quickly and provided an exemplary level of professionalism, reliability, and kindness. Communication was excellent through their app and email, with phone calls for anything urgent. They also took on medication collection and shopping when my work took me further away, and were always on hand to offer valuable advice and assistance.

Doris Jones have helped me since my step mother came out of hospital in April this year. Their knowledge of the processes and the care and attention they give is truly impressive. I was worried what support my step mother would receive as you read so many horror stories about care workers but I absolutely cannot fault the team we have helping.

Doris Jones carers visit my elderly dad every day (2 X half hour visits) to supplement my regular visits: helping with meals, companionship, ensuring he takes medication etc. My dad likes singing - and sometimes they join in! I recently went abroad for a month and was nervous about leaving my father for an extended period. All my worries were unfounded! The Doris Jones agency were excellent and liaised with a local relative while I was away. I was also able to view the daily online visiting log from afar - and could see everything was running smoothly.

The care visitors are kind and professional and there is solid back up from the administrative team back at base who proactively manage any concerns and remain flexible in their responses. I can thoroughly recommend this agency and their team of great care visitors.

Doris Jones have been providing wonderful care to my aunt for the last few years, right up until a few weeks ago. We always knew that, because of her health, she would need to go into full time nursing care at some point but the carers provided by Doris Jones enabled her to stay in her own home for far longer than we could ever have hoped for. Doris Jones have been exceptional from start to finish, always accommodating additional requirements as they became necessary. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

After a fall and an extended stay in hospital, we employed Doris Jones carers to support my 90-year-old mother in her wish to return to her own home and retain her independence. The Doris management team went out of their way to arrange care at very short notice and all the carers who attended my mum were, in her words, 'lovely'. Everyone accommodated my mum's changes in requirements without comment or fuss and did anything asked of them with good grace and a smile.

Sadly my mum is very 'old school' and begrudged paying for her care so made the decision to cancel the carers for the time being. As an only child, who works full time, knowing the carers were attending my mum was a huge relief so I was very sad when they left. Hopefully, my mum will agree to have Doris' carers back sometime in the near future.

The company is excellent. The carers are lovely ladies, very caring and cannot do enough for me. Very friendly, always very obliging for whatever task I ask them to help me with. I look forward to seeing them every day. My past company were really bad and made my nerves bad and I used to dread them coming into my home. So pleased I changed to Doris Jones Ltd and I would highly recommend them.

Doris Jones are just amazing! My dad has carers in 4 times a day and all the carers are caring, kind and respectful and they make dad smile. Not only do they support dad, they are a fantastic support to our family as well. Whoever you speak to on the phone they are always so helpful. We use the service once a week and have been doing so for the past 8 months. My mother finds the staff to be kind, attentive, usually the same person visits. Has time to chat as well as to do the jobs required.

Delightful company cannot fault them. Kind and helpful with my husband it means that he can spend his twilight years in his own home with their help and not in a care home. All the carers are so efficient and the company always rings me if a carer is running late. I would recommend Doris Jones to everyone who needs help in their old age!

My sister and I are very happy with the care given to our mum and dad over the last three years. The carers were kind and supportive of mum and dad's needs and if there was a problem at any time the management team were able to help and rectify it within a short time.

I found them to be professional, caring and supportive in all my communications with them. The carers were friendly and encouraging with mum - often going above and beyond what was required.
