Doris Jones carers are friendly, professional and do a brilliant job, often going above and beyond their expected roles - thank you. It was reassuring to know that my Mother was being looked after with care and dignity by the Doris Jones staff, particularly during COVID.

Could not fault the care Doris Jones gave to my mother. They enabled my mum to stay at home as long as possible. The staff were kind, thoughtful and very caring. On one to two occasions stayed longer to wait for an ambulance to arrive. When there was a problem Doris Jones was very quick to help and correct. Would recommend Doris Jones as a company who cares.

The Doris Jones care team have been quite exceptional, before and during the current lockdown - not only the carers who visit my dad and mum several times a day and lift their spirits with the humour and warmth with which they undertake a range of personal and practical support tasks, but also the central admin team who co-ordinate, communicate, and troubleshoot with unfailing care and consideration for our whole family. Their collaborative and communicative approach has enabled us to solve problems before they've become serious, and hugely boost Mum and Dad's quality of life in many ways; I never thought we'd have them using video calling proficiently, but Doris Jones has gone the extra mile, or ten, to make it possible and we now see them several times a week on screen. Magic all-round!

My parents have been relying on Doris Jones for a few years now. It is a fantastic service, that is both reassuring and professional. As a family that is spread over the World, we are very lucky knowing that our parents are looked after with such care and friendliness, and in fact, it is that that has been so great, the connection the carers make with my parents as they become a part of their lives. If there are ever any problems, the customer service team steps in quickly and resolves them efficiently and always with consideration, finding solutions that satisfy all concerned. The carers have shown their adaptability, and sense of empathy at all times, and always with good humour and a positive approach. In these strange COVID times, Doris Jones has as usual stepped up to the challenge, and on behalf of my brother in Somerset, my sister in the States and me in France, we are in awe of the work involved in this difficult and hardworking sector, and highly recommend Doris Jones to other families.

Doris Jones Ltd provides a truly outstanding service. They have looked after my 92-year-old mother in her own home for the past year, providing care in the early morning, lunchtime and evening. When my mother came out of the hospital following a fractured hip operation, they provided overnight care for the first two months and helped her with rehabilitation. I cannot praise the carers more highly: they are all professional, kind, cheerful and are always prepared to go out of their way to improve the quality of my mother’s life. The organisation runs very efficiently and the administrative team always very approachable. I am indebted to everyone at Doris Jones Ltd for the care they are providing for my mother and enabling her to stay at home, which is what she has always wanted. Thank you.

I am very pleased with all the care my wife gets.

We have good relations with the carers and they are well trained. They arrive on time unless there are unforeseen circumstances. The carers are cheerful which helps others in the house. The whole thing works because the management are hands-on.

Care recommended - did not disappoint.

When my friend started receiving care it was a great relief to know that she was being looked after so well. All the carers were so good, getting on with what needed doing for her well being and relating to her well. They and the office were good at communicating with me, I found this support very helpful. Excellent care.

Generally, the care my husband and I receive is satisfactory. The timing of visits is unclear and irregular, calls from unknown carers make for a less satisfactory service. During the 18 months, we have used Doris Jones, I have only had one carer that I did not like and at least three, have become good friends. My husband had Vascular Dementia, which at times makes him difficult to deal with.

Please pass on a huge thank you to the entire Doris Jones team, I’m so grateful for everything you’ve done for Dad over the last few years. Special thanks to the staff who have done an amazing job keeping me updated (and sane!) over the last few weeks. The staff are stand out carers as far as I’m concerned. Always going over and above to care for Dad and also bringing a bit of fun into his life, please do thank them from me and Mum from the bottom of our hearts. I think one carer was also one of Dad’s favourites but hasn’t seen him as much lately, he’s always so cheery and made Dad smile, Dad talks so fondly of him. The staff in the office have always been very helpful and polite too, thank you. These are just a few of the excellent team you have at Doris Jones, I would highly recommend you guys to anyone looking for care in the area.

Doris Jones have provided care for both my Mother and my Father. They have always been very quick to respond to changing requirements at short notice. Their carers are very warm and genuine, going above and beyond what is asked for. The admin team are always polite and helpful. A huge thank you for helping my family at a very difficult and trying time.

The carers who attend my wife are extremely professional and competent in their tasks and very caring and friendly and this aspect stimulates my wife and is very useful for her wellbeing. If I have any problems, all the staff usually find a solution to any queries I have. I am extremely happy with the service I and my wife receives.

Friendly staff and willing to do anything we wanted them to.

If we, at any time, need them again we would certainly book them.

One complaint: keeping to agreed timing. Never really sure what time the carer will get here! I do allow for 'traffic problems'. I do notify office staff of hospital/doctors appointments and have always been accommodated with timings. Overall a good service is provided All carers are extremely friendly and obliging.

We asked Doris Jones to provide care services for our father who had a very bad fall in December, breaking several bones. He spent a few weeks in hospital and was then in a residential home for a while. His condition did worsen and also his mental state too. Doris Jones lived up to the high standards we knew they would provide. Nothing was too much trouble and they kept us informed of any situations with Dad's condition, phoning on several occasions when he needed reassurance or prompting and making helpful suggestions. Despite him having had such a traumatic time, he has progressed significantly and we cannot thank them enough. He has been very anti-home care, as we had bad experiences when our mum needed care a few years ago.

He has felt that the team were like his family, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Doris Jones. A first class service - thank you Doris Jones!

My carer is very kind and helpful. She tidies, helps me shower and anything I ask her she is always happy to help if possible.

I have found every request is listened to with courtesy and help which is much needed in this day and age especially for people who might be of older years. Recommendation of change to others might be very welcome if put kindly.
