Doris Jones provide my mother with daily care - they are professional and the carers are very good. Administratively they always try and provide updates and call if there is a problem - they are far superior to other local care agencies with staff that go above and beyond.

The personal touch provided by all the staff at Doris Jones is so important when looking after a relative remotely, as I am. The online app which provides notes on each visit from the carer is priceless. As dementia has progressed it has become harder to understand my Father's problems on the telephone. A report each day helps me to avoid issues occurring and take action to put things right. Consistency of carers makes such a difference. It allows Dad to build a meaningful relationship and for the carers to notice when things are not right. I couldn't have made a better choice when I decided to go with Doris Jones two and a half years ago.

In these difficult times, where care in the community is really struggling, it is lovely to see that the carers, really do care! I have been impressed with their professionalism, respect, dignity, punctuality, and 'no problem!' attitude.

We have been delighted with the care of my parents over the last 3 years. Staff are polite and helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The care agency has been flexible over my parents' needs over the last 3 years.

We used the services of Doris Jones to help look after Mum (and also Dad until he passed away in 2020) twice a day, every day for a number of years. Can't recommend them enough. Throughout Covid lockdowns, they were a godsend but even before and since that their professionalism, care and help were second to none. We had a bank of regular carers who came in at agreed times and ensured that Mum's care needs were fully met. Sadly, we had to stop using their services earlier this year due to Mum's health deteriorating and her needing hospital treatment. However, Mum still thinks of some of her old regular carers as 'friends'.

Every one of Doris Jones' staff is nothing short of an excellent dementia therapist. They engaged with our relative on her interests and never ever shortened visits below the scheduled time unlike other providers in the field. The visiting staff are backed by an efficient and friendly office staff always available to deal with the smallest thing. This is huge peace of mind when one lives many miles away. They may not be cheap but with Doris Jones, it is worth every penny as you really can count on superb care.

Doris Jones service from the start has been impeccable. My elderly mother has had regular - 4 days a week - visits and on the occasions where she has been in hospital they have provided daily or twice daily service at very short notice. The carers all seem lovely people and the office is friendly and well organised.

My mother-in-law has a carer visit six days a week with the same carer attending on four of the days. Doris Jones were able to accommodate our request for this consistency of the same carer for the majority of visits. The carers are professional and efficient as well as friendly and approachable. Doris Jones staff also keep us well informed by way of updates which has been particularly relevant during the pandemic. Overall, a well-run business with good lines of communication. I'd strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a local carer company.

Doris Jones have been caring for my mum in her own home for over a year now. She has received excellent, friendly and compassionate care at all times and has formed friendly relationships with the care staff. Nothing is too much trouble and the girls have gone above and beyond at times to ensure Mum is safe and comfortable. Equally office staff have been excellent at communicating with us and have been able to accommodate any requests very professionally. Doris Jones carers have visited firstly my (now late) dad, and now my mum for the last few years and it is such a relief to know there are experienced and caring, friendly professionals who are visiting Mum every day. Lovely, kind ladies who do everything they can to make daily life easier for Mum, while still enabling her to be independent in her own home. I was recommended by a friend to get in touch with Doris Jones as they are in my local area. They were able to come and assess really quickly and gave good advice about the care I needed for mum. The ladies have been great with mum helping her best needs and not intrusive in any way. It has also helped me too as I now have peace of mind mum has had some help and company too. The feedback and contact with staff are reassuring.

My father is in his early 90's, has Alzheimer's and lives alone with his cat. I, his daughter, live a long way away. By February 2021 it was increasingly clear that he would benefit from regular visits by carers but he was adamant that he did not want people interfering in his home and curtailing his freedom. After the icy winter spell, in early March, he agreed to try out a carer from Doris Jones, just for thirty minutes for four days a week. Within two weeks he and the cat were won over by 'his' young lady and he looked forward to her visits. Working hand in hand with Doris Jones we increased his care package and now, in early June, Dad is visited twice a day. He does a bit of housework and cooking with his carers and they shop for him as well as checking on a poorly leg and fussing over the cat. Doris Jones worked closely with me as we carefully increased his care and they have worked wonders. My anxious, muddled, lonely old father is stronger, less worried and stressed. Thank you!

All in all, can't fault the good service at reasonable prices.

Doris Jones provide excellent, tailor-made care to my mother. We started with just a couple of days a week but soon increased to almost every day as we were impressed with the care and Mum enjoyed the visits. Mum doesn’t feel like they are carers but genuinely her friends checking in on her. They are also excellent at letting me know if there are any issues and working with me to adapt the care plan as needed.

Doris Jones is a professional organisation, with a personal feel. They have provided care for my mother for the last few years and as a family, we are very happy with the service provided. The carers are without exception kind, empathic, friendly and supportive of my mother's needs. Doris Jones, and the individual carers are happy to work with us as a family to ensure that my mother is comfortable and safe, which enables her to remain in her own home. Communication with Doris Jones is regular and two-way. As a family, we feel that we can raise matters with Doris Jones knowing we will be listened to, and equally staff at Doris Jones contact the family promptly if they have any concerns. We work together to support my mother. I would have no hesitation in recommending Doris Jones services to friends and family.

Doris Jones visited my dad and his wife at their home in Leigh-on-Sea several times a day for a number of weeks in December 2020 and January 2021. They went above and beyond to support them and also to support me, as I lived away from the area. The level of care is exceptional and their knowledge and helpfulness is second to none. They helped me connect to various NHS services to support my dad, who has a brain tumour, and looked after my dad and step mum like they were family. I can't recommend them highly enough. The Manager in particular is just excellent and I will never forget her kindness to my family.

We have just completed our 1st year with Doris Jones and are so pleased we chose the company to provide care for my husband. The carers genuinely care about their clients in a professional and compassionate way and the company offer tremendous support to me, too.
