I could not ask for better carers to look after my wife. They always show kindness and consideration to my wife and are very gentle in the way they attend to her. She is chair bound and cannot make herself understood due to the stroke she had some 13 months ago.

An excellent company in every area from administration to care. Lovely staff, always willing and efficient. The Carers were all great and gave my mum superb care. She looked forward to their visits, which were mostly on time. On the rare occasions there were unavoidable delays, I received a call so
I could tell my mum. I have been extremely satisfied and would thoroughly recommend Doris Jones.

I, and my family have nothing but gratitude to all at Doris Jones, both past and present, for the caring and professional manner in which they helped to make her last few years more bearable. She felt real affection for a number of the team and we know it was reciprocated.


When we initially looked

for a care company, we never imagined how prudent our choice of Doris Jones would be. Nothing has been too much trouble. They have been reliable and professional always. Their communication is excellent, advising us of potential issues or areas of concern that they had. They are carers who care, both as individuals and as a company.


The standard they have maintained is such that we have never had cause to have any worry about putting our mother's welfare in their hands. and have been confident that they never had anything other than her best interests at heart.


My mother was a very special lady and she received a very special care. Thank you so much.

Wonderful service. I don't know how I would have coped with the loss of my dear wife of 60 years without the care and understanding of your carers. They are all so lovely and have made me feel wanted again. Thank you so much.

A few years ago, my late wife, who was older than me, became ill and I contacted Doris Jones Ltd seeking help for her. Their carers were excellent, they visited her daily and helped her with her washing, kept her clean and tidy, ensured she took her medications correctly and on time. A few months later
she passed away peacefully in her sleep. Since this was during the 2nd world war, we didn't have any children, now over 90 years old myself and fairly fit, I put this down to having the same company's care.

We have been using the service of Doris Jones for 9 weeks and I would recommend them to anybody. The care plan was set up in a very professional, efficient way. The staff are always extremely helpful and accommodating, if I make an enquiry. The carers who come to my elderly aunt, who has dementia,
are extremely well trained, kind and understanding. They have made a tremendous difference to the quality of my aunt's life as she lives alone, aged 90 yrs and is in a wheelchair. They not only do personal care but also take care of her cat and keep the flat clean and tidy.

The service was consistent and reliable using personnel who were professional, thorough and very caring in relation to both my husband and I.

Recommended some years ago by my local hospital. I have always found Doris Jones agency very helpful in all respects. The care ladies, both the youthful and more mature, all provide an excellent care service. Including items of shopping and supervision when I take a shower.
Assistance with "keeping
clean" is really appreciated, as it is sadly time that senior citizens find "keeping clean" requires help, virtually from day to day.

My Dad suffers from mild dementia and is currently living alone as my mum is in a hospital and is likely to be there for months. Over the weeks we realised that Dad was eating cheese sandwiches and biscuits only every day. Doris Jones carers have come in every day and prepared my dad a hot meal at lunchtime.
But more importantly, they always sit and take the time to talk to Dad. By his own admission, he is now very lonely and we as a family could not be more grateful for the kindness and care that Doris Jones have given.

I have had Doris Jones carers since Christmas and have found them invaluable.
They are consistent, reliable and above all, caring and kind. They always ask after they have showered and dressed me, "is there anything else I can do?".
I have them for 30 minutes morning and evening and also a couple
of hours in the week so my wife can have time on her own!
Washing up, ironing, getting lunch, I could go on!

The Doris Jones agency was recommended to me by a friend who had used their services. I am so impressed with the carer provided by the agency who now comes twice a week to support my husband who has Alzheimer's. She is sensitive and empathetic, very reliable and I assume she has been well trained
by the agency because from the very first visit she established a rapport with my husband.
She is also happy to undertake any task.
I look forward to her visits as they relieve a lot of pressure from me.

My mother underwent an emergency lifesaving operation in April 2016. Following her discharge in early May, she required home based care to cover essential heath and welfare needs. I was recommended to contact Doris Jones to provide this service.


Throughout the last year, they have been invaluable

in ensuring mums needs are met and their assistance has had a knock on effect in providing me with peace of mind. As well as the health and welfare aspect of their assistance they have also provided companionship and assistance with taking mum to appointments etc. Most importantly when there is something that I need help with in relation to mums looking after I know I can always rely on the carers from Doris Jones.

I required some domestic help following a total hip replacement in March this year. Doris Jones Ltd was able to provide this help for the few weeks required. Their carers were punctual and diligent and I would recommend them.

Following an illness, my mum agreed, that outside help was required to help her return to her previous independence within her own home. I'd heard about 'Doris Jones' so made enquiries. It was the best move I could have made!


From the moment I started talking to the team, it was apparent that they

look at each client as individuals. It was important to rebuild mums confidence, stability and ability to look after herself independently again. Mum was very apprehensive but her anxieties were soon put aside by the friendly accommodating team. A folder was produced laying out the full details of Mums personal requirements. As she improved we cut back to two visits which became more social visits as she looked forward to the company and cup of tea (which she made !) and a chat!


The overall service by both the management and the visiting team has been amazing and we would have no hesitation in recommending them completely - or indeed using them again in the future should that need arise.

My father is 93 years old and following a hip replacement, a period of hospitalisation, rehabilitation and convalescence he was anxious to return home.
With no knowledge of what care packages were available, we went with a recommendation and we are so thankful we did.
Dad has a dedicated team of the
same 6 carers.
I've met everyone from this professional and positive team.
They show Dad nothing but kindness and respect.
We are always kept informed of any problems as they occur and action that is being taken.
Our advice is sought when necessary.
The Leigh-On-Sea carers and office staff care for my Dad and also me and my two sisters.

The family researched extensively about care services beforehand. We have been extremely pleased with the level and quality of care and support provided to my mother. Any concerns raised by Doris Jones, about my mother or father have been communicated to me immediately and I have been able to act
quickly, to prevent my parents often going into hospital. This has saved any distress to my mother who has dementia and reduced added pressure to the family.


Any problems I have raised with Doris Jones have always been dealt with promptly and politely by the care and office staff.


I visit my parents 3/4 times a week, so I often get to meet the carers quite regularly, who are all extremely helpful, polite and caring people and Doris Jones often use the same carers to visit my parents, so they have continuity.
Speaking with my parents they also confirm that they have never had any concerns and are happy with the care.

My Mother has a Doris Jones Carer to visit her in her nursing home and take her out once a week. She really enjoys the visits and being taken out and doing something different, this gives her something to look forward too. We have also used the services of Doris Jones in the past when my Mother lived
independently in her own home.


The carers have always been reliable, punctual and professional in their duties. I would not hesitate to recommend Doris Jones.
