Overall I feel the care provided for my husband has been excellent. All the carers have been sensitive to my husband's needs, skilled in handling skills when transferring him from wheelchair to bed etc and very useful to me by teaching me how to use hoists and suggesting how to cope with my husband's needs such as skincare. I also find the carers are very supportive to me when my role is particularly stressful.
Many thanks for your kind words and the review. It's our pleasure to be able to pass our knowledge and teach you things which will help day-to-day. Keep safe. Team Bluebird.
Friendly local carers. Helpful and prepared to give advice or take requests. Reliable.
Many thanks for the review, it's much appreciated. We are always here if you have any other advice. Keep safe. Team Bluebird.
My mum-in-law and dad-in-law needed Bluebird Home Care for a number of years. The care staff were in my opinion the best. Thank you. I for one would use Bluebird too, if my health needs were needed. Great care great team. You are amazing carers.
Thanks Lorraine for the review, hope you are well and safe.
Due to my dad's condition, his needs can change very quickly and every time this has happened Bluebird have responded when I have requested further help immediately without hesitation.
The carers who visit dad are just fantastic they treat my dad with the utmost respect and dignity. They take the time to show interest in dad and also give time and attention to mam.
Thank you to everyone at Bluebird Care.
Thanks for the review Sarah and taking time out to write it, we really appreciate it. Glad we can ensure you and your family have peace of mind that is always our aim. The girls love seeing your Dad and there is always lots of laughter.
The carers are friendly, respectful and so caring. They go above and beyond. I’m so glad that we chose them.
They were great from the first visit we had but even more so during this difficult time when we can’t be there as often.
I love that they learnt my Grandads routine and always make sure he has his cornet after his lunch. Little things like that make all the difference.
Hi Claire, thank you for taking the time out to leave us a review. We pride ourselves on getting to know our customers and their own habits and ensuring that they continue to live their best life. Thank you for trusting Bluebird to care for your Grandparents.
Ladies are friendly and know their jobs. Always ask if there is anything else I need before they go. I think of them more as friends visiting.
Well recommended!
My father suffered dementia and had a terminal illness. I found Bluebird Care (South Tyneside)to be both compassionate and extremely understanding. Their management was flexible and responsive. Communication was excellent between ourselves and the local management.
My father is very well looked after in a professional and caring manner which gives his family peace of mind.
I am completing this as my mam has macular degeneration and unable to complete forms. This is her opinion - "she is happy with the care that is provided and the girls all do what she asks". I appreciated the letter saying improvements were going to be implemented, as the visit planning doesn't always reach the carer at the correct or appropriate time.
Bluebird Care South Tyneside was recommended to me to support an elderly neighbour. I cannot praise the entire team for their help and support that we have received. They are not only professional in what they do but are caring in everything they do. The team leader has been there to support us 100%. They are a true team of angels. Thank you.
At the moment we are very pleased with the care my father receives. He likes the three ladies who provide his care. Any minor issues we have had with his care have been dealt with quickly.
I have had Bluebird care looking after my mother since February 2016. This care company is the best company I have had. Every care assistant that visits are very professional, very respectful and supportive. All these girls go that extra mile for not only my mother who they support, they also offer to help me and I find that amazing. I cannot say enough about how these girls have changed my mother's life and made mine a better place to be. The care given is high quality at all times.
They are very good, always do as much as they can to help me. They go above and I get good support, even at short notice. They help me to ensure I get shopping or prescription pick-ups. No problems at all with Bluebird, they are very good. I would highly recommend their services.
Bluebird Care do anything I ask them to do, they cook my meals and always have time to have a chat with me which I really enjoy. My carer always makes sure my appointments are booked in with the office. She also makes sure everything is written into my diary so this helps to keep me organised, they are a first class service.
I have Bluebird Care in every two weeks, they help me with my domestic work. They always treat me with dignity and respect, they do all the tasks I ask them to do.
The girls are pleasant, they do exactly as I ask then go that extra mile and after collect groceries on their way to my call if I need them. The care team that I have are very good.
My mother was very concerned about having care at home. Once Bluebird started my mother was very happy with all the girls. The girls are very professional and highly respectful. They didn't only just care for my Mother, they also looked after the home. Bluebird Care is a fantastic company. I connected with them from the moment I met the girls.
Bluebird Care staff are always friendly, polite and respectful. Happy to do whatever my needs are during their visit, be that help with meals, a bit of housework or simply sit and chat. If ever someone is running late or there is any other problem i'll usually receive a call to inform me what's happening. I would highly recommend Bluebird Care to anyone and look forward to their visits.
Since switching to Bluebird we have had the peace of mind, particularly living far apart. We have had great communication from the supervisors and carers. My aunt has received incredible care from the team which now looks after her 24/7. They have ALL gone beyond the call of duty. A perfect illustration is a number of them visiting my aunt on their day off when she took a turn for the worse. Truly caring carers who have made all the difference to my aunt's later life.
