Most clients are surprised that they have a choice! Their assessed allowance can for example be spent with whoever they choose, it does not have to be any old provider on the Council List. You can choose to have a private care company. We tailor our care to meet our client's needs, for us it's not a one size fits all approach so accurate prices are provided when we have discussed your needs . Gentle companionship/housekeeping for example in a live in care situation may require less complex care training and support than end of life care. Just call us for a chat to help you make a decision. And look at our reviews too. We are v proud of our reputation.

They help me with household tasks. Also, they are deeply respectful to me and my husband I love them all.
It was a shame that, when it came to overnight care, an agreement with the care provider was not possible and another company became involved as we would have preferred all care to be provided by Home Instead using carers we had come to like and trust.
The performance of Home Instead in different periods (holidays, sickness etc) was outstanding and the service never faltered.
Mum had dementia and the patience and compassion provided by the carers was excellent.
I would highly recommend Home Instead.
So pleased to hear this excellent feedback - it will be passed to our caregivers and team. Many thanks for taking the time to commend our services this way.
A caring, efficient and very pleasant service.
Home Instead provided care for two years. They were kind, competent and provided care in a professional way, always punctual and respectful. Office staff excellent always keeping me informed about everything. The only thing I would say they could improve on is how to utilise their time better when providing support and I think the carers need to use a bit more common sense. I do feel as though they don't do anything extra, even in emergencies without going through the "procedures". For instance, my friend fell, which happens frequently, she slips off her bed onto a crash mat, hoist in situ and 2 carers present but they wouldn't hoist her as they said the office had not had permission to use it from o/r. So she was left on the floor for 3 hours (no injuries) whilst 2 carers called me out and another carer at midnight. That's not good practise.
We have recently been rated Outstanding by CQC - the only local at home provider with this assessment and are proud to have robust procedures in place to ensure the safety of clients and staff and family members. All our staff must be properly trained to use any equipment (which would include any...
They are also able and willing to help me with various practical tasks. They are also friendly and approachable, I would be sorry to lose either of them after two years.
They are prompt, efficient, reliable and almost part of the family now, working in partnership with me.
My mother has Alzheimer's and had lost motivation due to memory loss. She would stay in bed refusing to engage with her husband who was her main carer. What a difference the Caregivers made. She looked forward to her daily am call where she was encouraged and supported to wash and dress and so much more. They would sound like a couple of teenagers, laughing and experimenting with makeup and jewelry with mum emerging looking immaculate, smelling divine with newly washed and set hair, clean clothes with matching accessories which was always so important to Mum, doing a twirl for her husband's approval. I cannot praise the carers and company too highly. Their knowledge and the importance of sending two carers who became Mum's good friends was paramount. With the support of Home Instead Senior Care, Mum was able to remain in her home much longer than I imagined. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
His dignity was always paramount in their approach to his care. Their arrival each morning was punctual and keenly looked forward to, they brightened his days.
My few dealings with the office were polite and efficient.
I can only say that I could not be more pleased with the service. My step-mother and myself have received. Approx a year ago they replaced other carers and resolved many problems for me. Not only medical and social but problems with interfering neighbours. My step-mother is a very feisty lady who did not take very kindly to the carers at first. However with patience and fortitude, they have won her over., She especially likes the fresh food they prepare for her at meal times. (she had microwave meals with previous carers) I would be very happy to endorse Home Instead if asked.
We have been well satisfied with the service both from the office and from the individual carers.
Home Instead have proved invaluable in their efforts to assist me with the care of my mother. Every member of staff, office plus carers, are extremely personable, kind, patient and utterly professional in every way. My mother looks forward to the carers visits each day. They are punctual, helpful and always keen to ensure her comfort and dignity, I am so pleased with the service offered by this agency. They promised to be punctual and to use the same carers daily to avoid confusion and worry and this has been kept. When I need to book extra care, this is done quickly and efficiently. I would give their service 5 stars in every category. Thank you Home Instead.
our relationship with this agency came about through "word of mouth" recommendation. My mother aged 92 years, was living in her own home with quite a bit of support from us but still doing a lot for herself and following her interests. I needed to find someone caring and compassionate to initially be in the house while mum was showering and fill in for me where necessary. This was hugely successful with a careful watch being made. They got on fantastically well. No praise is high enough for the care my mother received - especially at the moment after her collapse.
My carer helps me in various ways. Taking me shopping, cleaning and washing my hair. Helps me to remain independent.
The girls are very prompt, efficient and extremely friendly. If there is a problem, the office always keeps us informed.
The team of ladies attending my wife are excellent and she is quite comfortable with them when dealing with her personal needs. I have found them very pleasant and helpful. I am able to leave them with my wife whilst I might go shopping etc, fully confident that she is in safe hands. We have both found their friendship to us very helpful at difficult times. Well done to all of them.
Care plans are regularly revised. Dad's quality of life has improved and so has mine and my sisters who now can visit as daughters and not carers.
I am very satisfied with the care and assistance of Home Instead Senior Care. They are most caring and will do anything to please. Now that winter is here, they will be helping me a lot more.
Impressed by the care I received from beginning to end.
A very friendly service tailored to our needs. Staff are charming, helpful and react positively to any points we raise.
Home Instead Senior Care provide an excellent quality of care and communication. They notify me regularly of any changes or concerns and my father looks forward to his daily visits. The staff are kind, caring and firm when needed but in a positive way. I am delighted we chose Home Instead Senior Care it's a much higher standard of care.

Angela, from Market Harborough, has been with Home Instead since its inception. Fully Care qualified & experienced and Home Instead City & Guilds Accredited trainer in Alzheimer's and Dementia, & End of Life, with Level 7 Leadership Health & Social Care, Angela did her Home Instead CAREGiver training with the first group when the company opened and has delivered exemplary care to many Home Instead clients in the area. Her great strength though is in people management and she has a wealth of experience in the service-based industry. This appointment has brought her full circle back into the health and wellbeing sector from when she was practice manager at a Health Centre in Perth Australia.
Angela commented, “I am very excited to be in this role. I have worked with Gail for many years and I admire her hard work and dedication to the vision of changing the face of ageing by providing top-quality care to the elderly. We only provide a minimum of one-hour visits and each caregiver is matched to their client, this ensures that we always maintain continuity of caregiver which helps to develop a trusting relationship.”
The only East Midlands home care provider for the elderly rated Outstanding in all areas by CQC makes me very proud. With local staff, we support clients in Leicester, Market Harborough, Oadby, Corby and Rutland areas with the highest quality companionship, care and personalised attention.
Caring for family members I realised that there was a real gap in provision for those who were "nervous of letting just anyone into their home" and seeing how a carefully matched and trained caregiver could make a difference to an individual's life, inspired me to open the local office.
Lucy joined Home Instead as a part-time caregiver, then developed progressed through scheduling to attain her Level 3 professional qualifications and join our team as our Care Manager. With a lifelong passion for caring for others, her early-bird hobbies (as well as a busy family life) are her two dogs and horses.
