We have been using Home Instead for a number of years and are extremely happy with the service we receive. Caregivers are professional, friendly, compassionate and provide an excellent personalised service.

The ladies tailor each visit to Mum’s requirements whether it’s help with showering, meal preparation etc. and have built a good friendly relationship with her. Great care was taken to match the carers with shared interests and experiences to Mum’s. Would highly recommend it.

They paired her up with two excellent carers and now she has someone to talk to, to help her with correspondence, with trips out and help with shopping. And all the little tasks that may seem mundane if you have all your sensory faculties but which can be a nightmare for mum. They are both lovely ladies, and she now looks forward to their visits. My brother and I live at opposite ends of the country and it's hugely reassuring for us that Mum is looked after and her needs met.

Excellent experience with this provider, 5 stars. My mother really looks forward to the companionship carer visits. They really look after her and do what she wants to do. I find them very easy to deal with and very accommodating.

Home Instead do everything I need them to do. They help with shopping and housework. Nothing is too much trouble. They also took good care of my late wife.

My mother-in-law has been receiving care visits from Home Instead since June 2021. As my husband and I live abroad, this has been invaluable to all of us. Mum has developed great bonds with her carers and we have also received wonderful service from the office staff. From the daily carer reports, we were always aware of how Mum was. On the occasions when medical support was needed - after falls or illness - Home Instead managed the situations and kept us updated at all times. On her most recent stay in hospital, they continued a daily visit which kept us updated and provided Mum with a continuity of care at a time of confusion and worry. The level of care they provide to the client, and just as importantly, the level of support they give the family are exemplary. They really alleviate the stress of trying to care for a loved one from a distance.

Home Instead has provided fantastic professional caregivers until Mum moved to her care home. The caregivers were selected with great thought and consideration for Mum's needs and over a five-year period they became good friends of Mum. The CareGiver who attended Mum's first-ever visit was still supporting her through to the last week she needed support at home and the whole team was a trusted extension of the family network supporting Mum, and Dad prior to that. The daily reports of activities, meals, medical updates, walks and topics of conversation with Mum provided an excellent source of information and reassurance of her well-being. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to any family looking for care and support for a loved one who would benefit from the continuity of a regular friendly face that they could come to know, trust and make friends with.

Home Instead have been helping my mum and dad for some time now and I can’t fault them at all. They are very professional understanding and helpful. What we as a family like is the fact they choose the right people to help the clients so it’s the same ladies that my parents have every time, they come at the same time every day and there’s no rushing to leave to get to the next client. I would say my parents have built a good relationship with the two ladies they have. They also keep me updated on how they think Mum and Dad are doing.

A very professional company, could even be contacted outside of normal office hours. The staff are extremely kind and caring.

We are extremely happy with the service provided by our Home Instead carers. We like the fact that we nearly have the same carers as we get to know them well and they get to know us.

The care I have received during this past year and all the carers that have attended me during this time have been very helpful and caring. They have become our friends.

Mum and family, are very happy with her care providers. They have been tailored to suit her needs and her personality and take an interest in her hobbies which is great for her mental health and wellbeing. We have great piece of mind she is well looked after and she loves the fact she gets the same 2 carers and can build a relationship. Not just for January but since the beginning.
