As someone who has encountered many types of caregivers throughout my disabled years. I can genuinely say this is by far the best company yet. Always on time, friendly and consistent. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

After several falls and luckily no breakages, my confidence was low. I was reluctant at first to accept help which was obviously needed. I have been so relieved to go shopping and to appointments of all descriptions with my helper, this relieving my family who continue to complete the picture.

My mother is so benefitting from the home care service. She really likes the ladies that go to her who are so kind and friendly. They have helped her enormously with her loneliness and given her something to look forward to. It has been a big help to us too.

I have only started using Home Instead a few months ago for my mother suffering from Alzheimer's.
I have found them to be excellent. The same two carers come to her and I always feel that she is in good hands.
They write a daily report which I find really useful.
The office staff are always helpful
when I have had any query.

When I had the misfortune to injure my lower back, it was distressing to come to the decision I should no longer drive my car for safety reasons. A friend suggested it would be prudent to have help. Being an independent person this was not easy to accept but realised I had no choice. I could still look
after myself and my home and garden but driving was in another category altogether. So - a visit from 'Home Instead' was arranged. Now a year later, two lovely ladies each make a 2 hr visit every week. They have become not only helpers but friends and have transformed my life - I can't imagine how I could ever cope with shopping, garden centre etc without them. And importantly, I haven't totally lost my independence. Thank you all!

Highly professional; also compassionate and kindly. Aware of specific needs of spinal injury care; kindly and helpful to my wife. All care staff are excellent - lots of laughs, very good at preserving dignity. Our lives have improved steadily since Home Instead Senior Care took us on mid-2015. Very

Carers go above and beyond constantly. Office team are always supportive and flexible. The only agency which offers this level of service and empathy through all carers. We have tried others and Home Instead is leaps and bounds above in every way.

"I have been working with Home Instead for just over 18 months and love it. Not long after starting with the company alongside my usual weekly hours, I took on the 'On Call' role 1 in every 4 weekends. The On-Call CAREGiver role involves me visiting clients that have asked for an extra visit, to cover for CAREGivers if they are unable to work for any reason and to be able to offer up anything at short notice to help clients or family members. This gives me a great opportunity to visit new clients, see new faces and hopefully make a difference in their day.
Just like my regular visits with my own clients this sometimes can involve personal care, helping make their day easier, do their hair, nails, maybe a puzzle or watch their favourite programme with them, bake a cake or simply just offering companionship.
Knowing you sometimes do things that may seem quite small to some people can be something incredibly substantial to others. Coming away knowing you have been able to help someone who could be quite vulnerable is such a humble feeling. In these unprecedented times we could be the only voice they hear that day or face they see as some people are unable to even see their loved ones which over time becomes much harder and being with each client for either an hour or 2 or maybe more gives them something to look forward to. The most rewarding part of being an on-call caregiver is knowing I make a difference.
