The care and support provided by this agency have improved my mother's quality of life considerably. She has built good relationships with the carers and looks forward to their visits which have given her day valuable structure. The carers have proved to be reliable and professional yet warm and very caring in their approach.

Meet the Team (11)
Hi, I’m Mahdi, and I have been the Director of Care and Continuous Improvements Officer at the Home Instead Farnborough office since December 2017.
I have an Iranian heritage, and before joining Home Instead, I spent 10 years of my professional career working in the engineering and energy sector – quite a natural choice for somebody originally from that part of the world! Whilst it was a stimulating industry to work in, where there is a fast pace and travelling, I ultimately realised something was missing. I found myself looking to settle down in one place and do something more personally fulfilling, something that would involve giving back to the community.
There was also another reason that made me start thinking about change. During my time as an undergraduate student at the University of Cardiff, I lived with a couple who became like my second parents. As they aged, I witnessed how their health and physical strength gradually deteriorated, and it reinforced in me, that involvement in elderly care could just be that rewarding new path in my career that I had been looking for.
I am grateful to have a wonderful office team by my side, as well as exceptional Care Professionals who are really passionate about helping and sensitive to the needs of our clients. It is heart-warming to hear from our clients and/or their families how happy they are and that, thanks to us, they can live independently in the safety of their own homes for longer. You really feel then that all the work is worthwhile! I also embrace the opportunity of meeting members of the local community in church groups, community centres, charities and so on to tell them about the great things we do.
In my free time, I enjoy being immersed in nature on walks and treks, cooking, watching films or travelling.
I started in care due to the flexibility with young children, but over time I have progressed to GM and Group Registered Manager. I'm grateful for the opportunities I have been given over the past 5 years. I LOVE my job, I love the different tasks, I love the variety.
I believe great care starts with great relationships. With 14 years of experience in complex care, my focus is always on making sure our clients feel safe, valued, and truly at home.
Building genuine trust with clients and families is what drives me. I work closely with everyone to make sure care plans feel personal, and that clients and Care Professionals are perfectly matched.
Getting the details right matters, not just for standards, but because our clients deserve to feel completely safe. I bring over 20 years of sector experience to making sure every aspect of care is something families can rely on.
I love being out in the community supporting our Care Professionals day to day. Whether that's mentoring someone new or making sure a care plan is working well in practice, this is where I'm happiest.
Having spent years training new Care Professionals, I know exactly what it takes to thrive in this role. As our recruiter, I love finding the right people and knowing from experience just how rewarding the journey ahead of them will be.
My focus is on making sure every new Care Professional feels genuinely supported from day one. A positive, encouraging environment makes all the difference, and I love seeing our team grow in confidence.
Behind every visit running smoothly, there's a lot of careful coordination. I've been part of the Home Instead team for 12 years and take real pride in making sure every schedule brings reliability and peace of mind.
I'm often the first person a family speaks to, and I never take that lightly. My background is in care, so I understand what families are going through, and I'm here to help them find the right support.
Matching the right person for 24/7 live-in care takes real care and attention. I work hard to find companions who bring not just practical support, but genuine warmth and consistency to every home.
