Overall Experience

Very happy with all staff the carers and office staff who support my mum and the rest of the family. Over the period before she went into hospital for UTI and since she has come home in January with pressure sores, they have all looked at how to make her more comfortable, talking to mum, contacting

the district nurse, suggesting different equipment and keeping me up to date through the app and notes at the house. All the carers are professional but also use humour with mum to get her motivated and I see and hear how much they care about her.

Village Homecare Ltd have provided care to my mum since 2017. The care they provide is excellent. The carers are all pleasant and my mum looks forward to them coming to her home. She loves chatting to them and her mood is lifted by their visits which is as important I believe as the physical care. For

myself, I can relax knowing that she is being looked after so well. The office staff are always polite and helpful and communicate any changes in call times if they arise. We couldn’t imagine how we would manage without them. They are a first-class care provider and I would recommend them without hesitation.

Overall Experience

All of the carers are kind and friendly. They all wear PPE which makes me feel safe as I am considered to be a vulnerable patient due to my COPD and heart failure.
The carers will happily do any tasks that I wish and leave things in my room clean and tidy.
I trust than all which is important as they

are coming into my home.

My experience with the home care provider is generally good. The staff are kind, helpful and pleasant without exception. My chief complaint is that timing of visits is unreliable which can cause problems with fixed appointments such as for medical needs. Unpredictable meal times are unhelpful. It is

my impression that better-organised rotas would improve this. This is in no way a criticism of the carers who are always helpful.
