Bluebird Care (New Forest), the Overall Outstanding CQC rated branch (May 2018) is based in Lymington and provides care to people in their own homes, allowing them to stay in familiar surroundings for as long as possible without the need of going into residential care. This is your home and your life choice. The team will advise you and guide you on the care journey.

The teams provide home care from short half-hour daily visits to 24-hour care, assisting with various domestic and personal tasks, including getting up and going to bed, personal care, meal preparation, medication prompting, housekeeping, shopping and companionship. They also do more complex care provision such as Catheter care, Stoma Care, PEG Feeding, Dementia care, and End-of-Life care, for example. They support people living with Parkinson's disease and Huntington's disease.

One of their specialities is 24-hour live-in care arrangements where you will receive support from a dedicated live-in care assistant who will support and encourage you to live independently for as long as possible in your own home. This is a bespoke product where they offer a managed live in care service. Live-in care is very person-centred. The team always advise families to have a few care assistants over a length of period, in case of people going on holidays and absences. That way you will not get attached to only one. Live-in care is the perfect alternative to residential care and you can stay as long as you can in the comfort of your own house.

Very impressed with the manager and her team. They are very professional, caring and friendly, and everything you could ask for when having carers looking after a relative. Nothing is too much trouble for the manager as she goes above and beyond to help. I am so pleased I made the call to Bluebird as
the care and the support they have shown my dad over the past few weeks have been excellent; the whole family are very pleased and reassured. We would recommend Bluebird to anyone who is looking for a care provider.

Excellent level of care. Excellent timekeeping, presentation and professionalism. Usually cheery and polite. Always adhere to guidelines and plan for care. Carers treat Dad with dignity and tidy house ar required. We are very happy to entrust Bluebird carers with Dad's care.

Bluebird has been taking care of my Mum for the last 4 1/2 years in her own home. The care my mum receives is excellent, it is so lovely to see the bond she has with her carers. Not only do they physically care for Mum, but they also help her to remain independent and they help to keep mum cheerful
and happy! The carers take time to listen to Mum, have supported her through some difficult times, and are always professional!
Bluebird have allowed us as a family to live our lives. When no other care agency could help us Bluebird stepped up. Thanks to you all Mum is independent and still in her own home, I could keep working and I have even been able to move out and buy my own home with my partner, none of which I thought I would be able to do this time 5 years ago.

The excellent Bluebird carers have enabled mum to stay in her own home for the past four and a half years, and it is with reluctance that we have had to now move her into residential care to be nearer to family. We would especially like to thank her carers, who have particularly helped with the situation
as mum's dementia worsens, although all the carers have been great, very kind and professional.

Bluebird Care has been a life-saver (literally), enabling for Mum to remain in her home of 50 years. I had to arrange care quickly for my mother after a fall at home. Bluebird arranged an assessment quickly and were able to provide a live-in carer within a week. Mum was very happy with the carers who lived in and looked after her, and I was extremely pleased with the service provided.

Wonderful support is always available to assist and ensures the responsibility and welfare are shared. Bluebird Care provides a good standard of care. Carers are professional and caring. My mother requires mostly social care at the moment but this will extend as required and I have no doubt that Bluebird will be able to provide her additional needs in the future.
