Now bedbound, I have been using Bluebird Care for some eight months and during that time, they have collectively and significantly exceeded my expectations. Without exception, the carers are capable, competent, cheerful and, as expected, most caring, always treating me with respect and as an individual. Only disappointment in the service, to date, was we requested at least one female to attend at the weekends, not all males, so I could have a strip wash - after two weeks, no change. My daughter had to ring to sort it out - no reason or apology was given.

Professional and empathic carers. If a quick decision on a concern was required carers contacted me direct by phone rather than delay by going through their office. Timings of visits can be inaccurate but that was not a problem for my mum. However, visits for facilitating appointments were always on time. A very good experience overall.

All carers give my husband very good care and are supportive of me too. They are polite and professional whilst, at the same time, being relaxed and friendly and fit into the home environment. Generally punctual but sometimes they do not come at the appointed time by up to half an hour because their schedule has been amended but we have not been advised.
