Bluebird Care Chichester

We have been using Bluebird to look after my friend, who has vascular dementia, for over about a year now. Initially, we had domiciliary care each day but it became apparent more was required and Bluebird were able to switch the care plan and has provided two outstanding carers who have done a magnificent job in coping with the ever-changing nature of the condition. Bluebird have been responsive to our needs and helpful in discussing detail and changes to the care plan.

The new live-in carer has been considerate and flexible as she learnt the household routines and the discharge of my father from hospital.

Really pleased with all aspects of the care. From the moment we had the first meeting, I felt that my mother was going to be in good hands. The carers are supportive and encourage my mum to be independent. They take her out for a couple of hours which means so much to her when she is in a flat on her own. What started as a daunting experience has made the biggest impact.

My mother's carer has been more wonderful than we could ever imagine. She is kind, patient, diligent and caring. I live abroad and feel well assured that my mother is in good and capable hands. Bluebird management has been kind, supportive and responsive. Very happy!

Overall very pleased with the care provided. All the carers I met seemed very pleasant and professional. Being able to see the carer's reports online is good so you get a daily update on how the client is doing.

Bluebird has offered excellent support to my wife and has been both caring and well organised. They have been both supportive and flexible, dependent on particular needs. I have found them to be helpful over the phone as well as via email. I would strongly recommend them as they have helped to improve our quality of life.

Chichester has many highly rated care agencies and Bluebird is not one of them.

After a rocky start, (mum wouldn’t accept she needed help), things have gone from not too good to excellent due to the visiting carers building up a wonderful caring relationship with mum. She now really welcomes their visits and sees the carers as friends. The lovely girls always ensure mum is bathed, in clean clothes, oversee her taking her meds, make her meals ensuring she has a good variety of choice, do the washing and ironing, keep the flat clean and chat to her. Mum likes to go for a walk when the weather is fine and regularly the girls take her out, ensuring she has her stick. As well as mum being cared for, my sister and I have complete peace of mind that mum is being well cared for, as we both live a good distance away. If there are any concerns, we are contacted and these are resolved. Without these visits mum would be in a care home so thank you, ladies, you are doing a wonderful job. Keep up the good work.

My Mother has had a care companion from February and benefitted a great deal from the company twice a week. Mum had suffered extreme loneliness during the Covid lockdown and Bluebird service helped her. We will not hesitate to use the service again if Mum’s requirements need it.

We find the carers, helpful, cheerful, willing, respectful and timing is good.

A few are excellent, others not so good.

We have been using the services of Bluebird Care for four years to provide personal care for my wife. During this time their care workers have been unfailingly friendly, polite and careful in addition to providing a high standard of professional care. They have been backed up by an organisation which has taken a genuine personal interest in their clients.

They do a 6 monthly review, and this can be done in person or over the phone, and they have now looked after gran for 18-months, and we have no complaints at all and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
