The management team and care professionals have been nothing short of amazing. The service provided to our family has been sensitive, responsive and very person centered. I'm new to Home Instead but, so far, so good. Communication is good between management and myself, all care staff have been very caring and lovely towards my sons. All staff involved have been very accommodating to their (and my) needs.

We have a resident carer supported by one hour of care each day. The carers are both competent professionals and really relate to and help my wife who is totally dependent and can't speak, or leave her bed. I have strong confidence in the service provided by Home Instead. One slight niggle: resident carers whom we have enjoyed living with us have been moved to other clients because of the need of the service.

When my father was rushed to hospital, my mother’s carer from Home Instead stayed until the ambulance arrived and then kept my mother company until there was news. When my father was moved to a care home, they were quick to identify extra resources to take Mum to visit him. They are caring and flexible. You only have to ask and they will respond with a practical plan that works well for the family.

My mum's care team is great, out of about 12-15 carers I only have a problem with two and that's only down to personality. My main problem is that there seems a lack of communication in the office. When I started with Home Instead, they seemed to listen? Now I'm just not sure what is going on, at times you feel as if you are just being passed around, even the carers seem more stressed with the office?

Home Instead (Weston Super Mare) provided daily morning home care to my dad for several years prior to his move into a residential nursing home. From the outset with the initial assessment visit, through all of the ongoing care and his annual reviews, the level of care, attention to detail, warmth, friendliness, kindness, compassion and consideration was first class. His care team were like friends and always made my dad feel valued and genuinely cared for. My review on Home Instead and care workers. My care pro helps me on Tuesdays and Thursdays cleaning, cooking, companionship and home help, walks in the parks and trips to the seafront. She is lovely, we have a good working relationship. She understands me and how I think. She is very helpful to me. Care Pro are great, I have been with Home Instead for one year now, I have met a few staff, care pros and team leaders. All seem very nice and helpful. The cate service is very vital for day-to-day recovery. I recommend Home Instead to anyone who needs care and support.

We started Home Instead in May 2022 when my mother, then ninety-nine, had a fall. They come every day to get Mum up, washed, dressed, make breakfast and tidy up. All the girls are excellent, kind and very professional. I couldn't manage without them (as I care for my husband who suffered a stroke).

a) Communication with me as the son whose mother you care for has been excellent from your office team. You've never let us down.
b) The carers themselves have been very friendly, they value our space and are liked by Mum.
c) The one area where occasionally we have experienced a difficulty concerns relating to my mum - if the carer is 'too chatty' or Mum feels she is being treated as a child, she doesn't like that!

I live in Weston with my husband, and in my spare time I enjoy taking in the scenery at our local beaches and visiting my daughter at Cardiff University.
Hello, I’m Natalie, I joined Home Instead in 2020. I have worked in the care sector throughout my career and am passionate about working with and improving the lives of others. I took maternity leave in 2022 and returned to work in the role of Finance Officer and Compliance Coordinator. I assist our director; Luisa with the financial aspects of the business as well as auditing, to ensure we are maintaining the highest possible standards.

My name is Sam and I’m a Team Leader.
I was born and raised on the Isle of Wight with my sister and twin brother. When I left school, I took up a 3 year course at college for landscape gardening which I really enjoyed doing and being outdoors. Then I worked for 2 Harvester restaurants as part of the management team in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. I moved back to the Isle of Wight and that's when I came across care, I worked for 2 care companies, but I had to stop after my motorbike accident back in 2015. When I was able to go back to work, I moved back to Hertfordshire and started to work for Home Instead in Hemel Hempstead as a care coordinator.
I then moved to Sampford Courtenay and lived there for 4 years, but I also worked for the Tavistock Home Instead office where I was the On Call Manager and Scheduler for 3 & a half years.
Care is a job that I enjoy doing to help and support anyone who needs people like us and find the job very rewarding. I speak to our clients and Care Professionals every day, asking how their day has been and lots more, it is so lovely to hear stories from clients and what they enjoy doing.
The training and support that I got from Home Instead over the 6 years have been amazing, they are always willing to go that extra mile no matter what and working with the office team and care professionals have also been really supportive.
