First encounter was a daily visit for my mum years ago. The past five years have been involved with many care companies. Again, accessed Bluebird Care as a shortfall on my mum's care package - Bluebird gladly took an evening call. Management of the company, I have found outstanding, ethos, approach and review process. App is excellent - allows me to check if I need to go into Mum. Staff know Mum well. Always in uniform, smart and tidy and leave the bungalow safe. They know my mum and work with her as she has Alzheimer's and this can often be challenging.

Staff always helpful, kind and understanding of my parents' needs and at the end of a phone if I have a problem and they let me know if they have had to contact other agencies in emergencies when they haven't been able to contact me when I am working.

My dad and I have no criticisms of the first ten months in which the former has received care from Bluebird Care i.e. the period from September 2022 to July 2023. The carer has arrived promptly each day and catered for Dad's needs with great efficiency and professionalism. I know when I leave for work each morning that Dad will be in safe hands during my absence. We would recommend your firm to anyone.

When I found I was unable to cope with my husband's personal hygiene needs I called on Bluebird Care who put me on a waiting list. This was not for long as I called them again telling them I'd had enough. Quickly they set up a care plan for my husband. Each visit from a carer can be difficult as my husband is stubborn and defiant. The carers remain polite and professional and treat my husband with dignity even when he is horrible to them.

The carers at Bluebird Care have provided excellent care and support for my mother. She has visits three times each week and looks forward to them. The team are caring and encouraging. They show patience and understanding of my mother's needs. In addition, the office staff provide excellent and accurate support. We would definitely recommend Bluebird Care to people looking for a carer organisation. Our nana was cared for by Bluebird carers until the time came for her to move to residential care. As a family, we all felt reassured by the daily communication on the app. The carer's genuine concern and positive regard for our nana were evident in the care notes. We really appreciated the attention to detail, especially the time chatting with her and having a laugh about a soap. The carer's contact certainly contributed to her fulfilling her wish to stay at home for as long as possible. The carers are supported by a dedicated team, if there were any queries or issues with meds, for example, the staff in the office were always helpful, friendly and organised. It gave us peace of mind that the lines of communication were open and that we were all working together for the wellbeing of our nana. Thank you so much!

Carers have always been on time, prompt and professional. They always consider Mum and her needs but always ask if there is anything else required to do. Mum is very happy to be in her own home and this is the best environment for her and as a family, we wouldn't be able to keep her at home without Bluebird carers.

Until my parents, unfortunately, had to go into residential care they received excellent care from Bluebird Care. In the light of experience, and being aware of my elderly mother's short-term memory incapabilities, we have recently asked for short hand-over notes to be written up in her house diary, particularly on acceptance or refusal of food preparation. This is most valuable, as it permits us to have an idea of what nutrition my Mum is actually taking (we still try to visit at least every other day, so we also look for other signs: stock levels reducing, packaging disposed of, etc.).
And it seems that Mum is very happy to have these visits from your Bluebird ladies. Thank you.

Bluebird Care looked after my dad for 3 months. The carers were always friendly and happy to help. They showed great respect to him and were always patient and calm. Problems were dealt with immediately and the app that they use was a great way for us to see he was ok. Thank you for all your help.

Angus, with his extensive experience in the NHS and private practice, brings his clinical expertise to the team. His background in care services for older people helps Bluebird Care navigate the complexities of the healthcare system and ensure that customers receive the best possible care.

Brian has a diverse career background, including roles in the British Army and healthcare management. He has experience in providing support to brain injury survivors and has held leadership positions in various healthcare organisations.
Alison has over 20 years of experience in management and staff development. She has worked in various roles within the care sector, including as a support worker and Registered Manager. She has gained knowledge in a wide range of medical conditions and is committed to providing premium care.
Sharon joined Bluebird Care in January 2022 and has quickly progressed through the ranks. She was promoted to Support Supervisor in February 2022 and then to Care Supervisor in July 2023. Her role involves supporting staff to deliver the best possible care, conducting spot checks and medication observations, and developing training programs.
Sarah joined Bluebird Care in January 2022 as a Carer. She was promoted to Support Supervisor and then Care Coordinator, where she is responsible for handling rotas, coordinating care expert assignments, and assisting staff and customers with inquiries.
Amie joined Bluebird Care in 2023 as a Care Expert and has rapidly risen through the ranks. She was promoted to Team Leader and then Support Supervisor.
