Efficient service, caring and professional. Good communication with client and family when needed. I feel confident that my father is cared for and treated well and with respect at all times which in turn helps me too. My father speaks highly of all of the carers and although he is still independent in that he can do most things for himself, it is the fact of knowing there are carers helping him maintain his independence whilst also providing a good level of care that makes my father and I feel grateful for the service.

Bluebird has provided daily care for my Aunt since the Autumn of 2019, with which as a family we are 100% satisfied. Especially given the difficulties created by the on-going health crisis. Without this support my Aunt would be unable to continue living in her own home; something which she is determined to do.

Staff are always very helpful, and they arrive on time. They report back any problems which are relayed back to us with possible solutions. We are very happy with the care provided. She sometimes makes a comment about her meals not being cooked as she would cook them but she doesn't usually tell them beforehand how she wants them done.

A good relationship with the team and managers. Communication between family and the team is good, and any concerns we have are dealt with promptly. Likewise, if the staff are concerned or Mum’s needs change, we are contacted to discuss how best to deal with the situation. This open dialogue has been hugely beneficial to Mum’s wellbeing.
Mum is 98, and Bluebird Care has played a significant role in helping her to stay in her own home.

Blue Bird became like friends to me, my mam and our family. They were extremely reliable and made my mam feel comfortable, happy and looked after. The girl's attention to detail with Mam was fantastic, and they went above and beyond for her and our family. I am so grateful for the care they gave Mam in her last years, which enabled us to stay close to her in the comfort of her own home.
It was a privilege to care for your mam and enable her to stay independent and so close to her family. You all felt part of our Bluebird family and we valued the years that we cared for her.
By choice, my widowed sister who has dementia lives in her own home. She is in the North East of England. Her family is in the North of Scotland and her remaining friends are too infirm to visit. Bluebird Care is now her family, providing a service that is second to none. They take her shopping once a week, take her to appointments, clean her house, and with three visits a day she never spends a day on her own. They liaise with the GP and other professionals dealing with her health needs. All staff is well trained, patient, caring, and helpful. They provide excellent monitoring and feedback, giving me peace of mind.

Delighted with the standard of care, support and managerial back up provided. The use of the app also allows me to see my mother's care at a distance which helps give me peace of mind about the care provided. I have found the staff to be very caring and while my mother can be difficult at times with her dementia they deal with her mood swings in a very professional manner. The carers take time to provide the best care they can in my mother's home.

Julie set up Bluebird Care North Tyneside 11 Years ago with a clear vision, to provide a high-quality care service to be proud of. Julie said "Over the 11 years we have gone from strength to strength ensuring that our care provision is the best it can be" We employ the very best care assistants to deliver the best care.
Angus, with his extensive experience in the NHS and private practice, brings his clinical expertise to the team. His background in care services for older people helps Bluebird Care navigate the complexities of the healthcare system and ensure that customers receive the best possible care.
Head of Operations and Compliance.
Brian has a diverse career background, including roles in the British Army and healthcare management. He has experience in providing support to brain injury survivors and has held leadership positions in various healthcare organisations.
Alison has over 20 years of experience in management and staff development. She has worked in various roles within the care sector, including as a support worker and Registered Manager. She has gained knowledge in a wide range of medical conditions and is committed to providing premium care.
Sharon joined Bluebird Care in January 2022 and has quickly progressed through the ranks. She was promoted to Support Supervisor in February 2022 and then to Care Supervisor in July 2023. Her role involves supporting staff to deliver the best possible care, conducting spot checks and medication observations, and developing training programs.
Sarah joined Bluebird Care in January 2022 as a Carer. She was promoted to Support Supervisor and then Care Coordinator, where she is responsible for handling rotas, coordinating care expert assignments, and assisting staff and customers with inquiries.
Amie joined Bluebird Care in 2023 as a Care Expert and has rapidly risen through the ranks. She was promoted to Team Leader and then Support Supervisor. In her current role, Amie trains and supervises staff in the field, delivers care according to Bluebird Care standards, and also works part-time in the office.
