The carer comes each week and I can relax knowing my dad will have fun - going out for a day trip or a walk, then helped with lunch. He always looks forward to the visit and after is stimulated to do things around the house.

Care started middle of May 2022. The care plan in place is being followed. Haven’t been present when carers have attended. All going well. The carers are polite and always willing to give assistance. If unsure, there is always someone to speak to.

The carers took time to chat to my parents and find out a bit about them and have always been respectful in their home.
Communication with the main office has also been very good and I feel that they are at the end of the phone and will try to accommodate our wishes.

Currently, they only go in two days per week to give me a break and Mam looks forward to their visits. If I have a holiday they go in twice a day every day and they are happy to organise this with a few weeks' notice.
The staff seem to have a genuine warmth for their customers and each other. I witnessed this at their recent Jubilee celebration.

We are impressed by this company. Despite the shortage of carers, we have never been left without anyone. They always come at the allotted time. They know the care plan but will always do more if requested and have time. They are attentive and listen, but always polite and caring. If someone new is to come, they send them to shadow first. They are more like a friend.

After having numerous care providers for my Father, I can honestly say ‘Bluebird Care’ is the best by far! I have found Bluebird Care to be a very professional company, all their carers are very polite, punctual, efficient, and provide an outstanding level of care. In addition to the performance of the care package, they engage in stimulating conversations with my Father, including his decision making and maintain his independence. I feel they are absolutely a first-class service.

We have tried other care providers and found Bluebird to be by far the best. Their reaction to our request for additional days and care duties have been so supportive to both my mother-in-law and our family I am very impressed. They have been extremely helpful and understanding in winning my mother-in-laws acceptance of the care she needs which has had a huge beneficial effect on her health and well-being. Bluebird Care (North Tyneside) provides care services to my Mother-in-Law for one hour per day, 5 days per week. They arrive around tea time to make a hot meal, do some dishes, tidy the kitchen, empty bins and most importantly to ensure that she takes her medication with the evening meal. They also spend time chatting about family and other topics which helps break up the daily routine. This service is enabling my Mother-in-Law to remain in her apartment within a sheltered environment rather than have to move into a care home. The carers are very reliable and have not failed to arrive since the service commenced in December 2020 and there is good flexibility should we need to arrange an extra visit or two over weekends when we cannot attend ourselves.

The service was tailored to my mum's requirements and has been actively reviewed and modified. I understand that additional service offerings are available and can be introduced. Staff are trained, have PPE and are friendly and trustworthy. Supervisory/management team are approachable and helpful. It has been important for me to talk to experienced professionals. They have listened and understand the challenges. I regularly use the mobile app to read carer notes and tune into my mum's needs. I look forward to continued help and support.

Julie set up Bluebird Care North Tyneside 11 Years ago with a clear vision, to provide a high-quality care service to be proud of. Julie said "Over the 11 years we have gone from strength to strength ensuring that our care provision is the best it can be" We employ the very best care assistants to deliver the best care.
Angus, with his extensive experience in the NHS and private practice, brings his clinical expertise to the team. His background in care services for older people helps Bluebird Care navigate the complexities of the healthcare system and ensure that customers receive the best possible care.
Head of Operations and Compliance.
Brian has a diverse career background, including roles in the British Army and healthcare management. He has experience in providing support to brain injury survivors and has held leadership positions in various healthcare organisations.
Alison has over 20 years of experience in management and staff development. She has worked in various roles within the care sector, including as a support worker and Registered Manager. She has gained knowledge in a wide range of medical conditions and is committed to providing premium care.
Sharon joined Bluebird Care in January 2022 and has quickly progressed through the ranks. She was promoted to Support Supervisor in February 2022 and then to Care Supervisor in July 2023. Her role involves supporting staff to deliver the best possible care, conducting spot checks and medication observations, and developing training programs.
Sarah joined Bluebird Care in January 2022 as a Carer. She was promoted to Support Supervisor and then Care Coordinator, where she is responsible for handling rotas, coordinating care expert assignments, and assisting staff and customers with inquiries.
Amie joined Bluebird Care in 2023 as a Care Expert and has rapidly risen through the ranks. She was promoted to Team Leader and then Support Supervisor. In her current role, Amie trains and supervises staff in the field, delivers care according to Bluebird Care standards, and also works part-time in the office.
