Home Instead Senior Care (Basildon) has provided excellent reliable care for the past few years. The staff are friendly and dedicated. Home Instead Senior Care (Basildon) always provides carers whenever required.
Kind, practical, reliable care, tailored to each customer. Always available at the end of the phone and always ready to listen and help, making suggestions to enhance care provision.
Thank you for your kind words they are very much appreciated.
All the staff treat her with dignity and respect - even when she is being difficult. She is treated as a person rather than just a 'client'.
The staff in the office are always courteous and helpful - nothing is too much trouble.
I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anyone needing this service.
Thank you so much for your kind words they are very much appreciated.
I have never had cause to complain after over a year of having home carers. I go and see my dad every day and very often turn up when the carer is there and only ever find they are genuinely kind and caring to him. He is happy when they are there. Without them, his life would not be good. I cannot praise them enough. Thank you.
Home Instead Senior Care (Basildon) has provided excellent care for my father for over 3 years. We know which carer is coming and when they will be arriving on a daily basis. All carers go the extra mile to ensure that my father is comfortable and inform us if there are even the slightest of concerns about his health and welfare.
All carers dealing with me are friendly, helpful and will do any 'job' I ask of them.
Nothing is too much bother.
I cannot say how grateful I am for their help.
They treat me with dignity and I never feel embarrassed when asking for help.
Thank you for your lovely comments I will pass these on to your CAREGivers.
Home Instead has supported myself and my mum with a care plan which is individual to my mum's care needs and responds immediately to any changes day or night, which brings comfort and confidence in supporting my mum.
My mum has been a client of Home Instead Senior Care (Basildon) for nearly two years and we have been more than happy with the service provided. We have regular carers who know mum and are very good with her. The office staff are helpful, friendly and professional.
I am very happy with the service for my father. All the carers are kind, considerate and understanding ensuring my father's needs are met. We are particularly thankful to my father's main carer who demonstrates devotion and compassion above and beyond expectations. I am always kept informed of any concerns and the carers are mindful of my requests concerning his care. I also like that the office staff are always polite and helpful when I need to make changes even at short notice. All involved are prepared to be adaptable to changing needs and demands.
Thank you for your kind words I will pass this on to all concerned.
There is always someone at the end of the phone to discuss any problems or changes.
We appreciate your kind words. Thank you.
Found carers very helpful, approachable and could not cope without them. My mother would certainly be in a home if it wasn't for them. They take her out, ensure that she has eaten, play music and generally have fun. This makes my life so much more stress-free on occasions I know they are there.
Thank you for your lovely comments which shall be passed on to our Caregivers.
Excellent company. Staff very caring and compassionate of my mother's needs.
Thank you for your comments they are much appreciated.
She enjoys the carers going in, even for a chat about the good old days.
I do not worry as much now as I know she is being looked after and any problems they phone the office to let myself know. Very well done.
Thank you for your lovely comments.
Carers very kind and considerate. Take time to talk to my mum and do not rush her at any time. Carers prompt and reliable and always inform me of any concerns they have. I trust them and feel they really care about my mum.
Thankyou. Your comments are important to us and much appreciated.
We are very pleased with the service the ladies give. We lost our mother last summer and they were lovely to her and now I am very happy that they go into my dad twice a day. It's so important that he has that company and I know he isn't alone.
Thank you for your kind words.
and my wife regards her as a friend. She also does some housework for us and does this to a very high standard. In all, I am very satisfied with the services of this care provider.
Thank you for your lovely comments.
As a family, we have received the best care for our mother who has dementia. This is our first experience of care. The carer that lives locally to our Mum, she was her main caregiver. She has done so much for Mum, taken her shopping, to her lunchtime club, to her hospital appointments when a family member could not take her, stayed with her when she was in hospital, was very patient with her. They have become very good friends. The company have been very helpful in advising different things that Mum might be entitled to, they are very easy to approach, very polite, should a care need to be cancelled no problems with doing that. When they first visited they were not in your face pushing you to take them, they advised everything in a very simple manner, you know what you are paying for no hidden extras. We as a family are very pleased with everything that has been given by them for the last 6 months and hope that this will continue. If Mum is happy then we are happy.
We appreciate your comments Julie and are very happy you are pleased with the support we provide for your mother.
I would recommend the service to anyone.
Mum is very satisfied with her care. All the carers are very kind, helpful and look after her very well. The staff at the office have also been very helpful when we have needed to change things.
Great service. Highly professional with excellent caregivers. Can't fault their service, admin and comms.

Meet the Team (2)

My name is Jenny, and I am the Registered Care Manager at Home Instead Basildon.
I have worked in the care sector for many years and have been part of the Home Instead family since 2015. I began my journey as a Care Professional before progressing to the role of Trainer and Field Supervisor. In 2023, I became the Registered Care Manager following my registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). I have also completed my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
My passion for care began when I looked after my grandfather. That experience showed me just how important compassionate, person-centred care is in helping people remain independent and continue living in the comfort of their own homes.
I am passionate about supporting both our clients and our Care Professionals, ensuring that every person receives the highest standard of care tailored to their individual needs. I truly believe in Home Instead's mission to *change the face of ageing* by delivering personalised, relationship-led care that enables people to live safely, independently, and with dignity in the place they know and love most—their own home.

My name is Debbie and I am one of the owners of Home Instead Basildon. My background is in nursing, having worked for over 35 years in the NHS, specialising in the care of people with cancer.
It is very important to me to ensure that care, whether hospital or in your own home, is of the highest possible standard, person-centred and is given with dignity and respect.
Home Instead represents all of the above and more with the addition of highly trained CAREGivers and exceptional key workers - Home Instead really does 'Change the face of ageing'
