I was delighted with the two carers who supported me for two weeks (approximately 4th December 2022 until approximately 18th December) in every way! Arrived on time and supported me throughout each day with great care. Extremely friendly and polite. I give a score of 100/100!

When my partner had to go back to Australia over the Christmas holidays (as her father was extremely ill and very frail) we contacted several home care providers to secure someone to come in and help me while she was away for several weeks.
Home Instead were quick to respond and arrange a visit to
our home to find out how they could help us.
We have found them to be an extremely professional, caring and compassionate company that have been completely responsive to our/my needs since we asked them to provide the support I needed while my partner was away in Australia.
I have been extremely impressed with the home support staff that they have provided for me, and also with the managers working tirelessly in the background.
We will definitely keep using Home Instead to provide excellent support for us and I can't recommend them highly enough. Brilliant.

I have had close contact with Home Instead over the last two weeks following some issues with my elderly mother.
On the first occasion, Home Instead contacted me. On the second, I had to contact them and inform them of an emerging situation. On both occasions, Home Instead has been helpful, reassuring,
practical and supportive.
I have nothing but praise for both the care provider and for the manager who dealt with the issues.
I live 400 miles away from my mother and Home Instead provide the support and reassurance needed.

The service provided by Home Instead has simply been phenomenal. Every member of the team that has provided care for my mother has gone above and beyond what the family expected.
Not only is it the care workers who are in attendance but it is also the office staff who are very pleasant and appear
to be well trained as their knowledge and understanding of the services is of a very high standard.
Each and every team member has exceeded our expectations and the level of care given to my mum has made things a lot easier on the family as this has eased a lot of stress and worry knowing my mum is well cared for and has her requirements met without any fuss.

My 91 year old mum has been taken care of by Home Instead for nearly a year now and I can't thank the carers and staff enough for the care and the attention they give to my mum amazing what they do. They try to keep a routine as best they can having the same carers whom mum has got to know, love and
rely on.
Mum looks forward to seeing their smiling happy faces each day. I really don't know how we could cope without them they are invaluable. Obviously high standards in training as well as down to earth loving carers who clearly love their job. Mum can stay at the house she loves. The office staff keep me updated and give me great advice they are so kind and friendly like the carers. I can not recommend Home Instead enough. They will help and change the families' lives for the better thank you, thank you Home Instead. It's an 11 out of 10 from me.

I was keen to keep my elderly mother at home as long as she was able and latterly she has been able to stay with me, despite my working full time. This would not have been possible without Home Instead. They have worked with us to increase the level of care needed and have done their best to ensure
continuity of carers as far as possible. This has allowed me to step back in the knowledge that Mum is safe and being well looked after when I am at work, by carers who really care. They have engaged with local social services, OTs and Physios and District Nurses to ensure that Mum is receiving a comprehensive joined up service. They have been able to provide round-the-clock cover with sleepovers to allow me to take some time away, without the need for a full-time live-in carer, although this would be an option in the future if needed. The office staff are friendly, caring and understanding and nothing seems to be too much trouble. I can't thank the Home Instead team enough.

The carer was a last-minute substitute for our regular carer but she slotted in as if she had always been there. Very friendly and willing to go along with whatever my husband wanted to do and very patient with his short attention/concentration span as well as prolonged periods doing the same thing.

The three women who have come to (a) care for my husband

I cannot praise the team of carers enough. Without the service and dedicated team my dad, I feel certain, would be in a care home and at the moment his preference and the family’s is that he remain in his own home for as long as possible. Due to their dedication, we are coping and achieving this and
I’m so thankful for their assistance. They go above and beyond and I could not ask for more from any provider. Management and office staff are always so efficient, courteous and friendly and I’d highly recommend Home Instead. They make an enormous difference to the quality of life that my dad is having in his own home and I am so grateful to them.

My mum suffers from vascular dementia and also has balance problems resulting in several falls. We were at the stage of looking at residential care. We looked at live-in care as an alternative and contacted Home Instead. From the initial enquiry right through to having the care package put in place
the staff have been fantastic, with the emphasis on my mum's needs. We now have two carers who live in with mum alternating weekly. They look after all her needs and spend quality time with her. Because of her dementia, mum suffered from loneliness as she would forget she had had visitors, now she has someone with her all day and hasn't been as content for a long time. We can now relax knowing she is receiving exceptional care and because she's in her own home the family and friends can come and go as we always did. We could not be happier with the level of service, the carers and management have been fantastic. Thank you Home Instead.

My mum has Alzheimer's and my dad found it hard to look after her. I was also aware he needed companionship. Initially, we used Home Instead for two times a week, but as the staff were so good I quickly increased to three times. The staff were amazing, they genuinely cared. My mum can be quite hostile
to anyone entering her home, but quickly she accepted the carers due to their kind nature especially to the main caregiver. Thank you.

Punctual, reliable, friendly, supportive, based on over one year of experience as clients my wife and self in our nineties and disabled to the extent of being housebound.
I find it remarkable the amount the carer can do in one hour. In a two hour visit, the carer does our food shopping and as required
visits the bank also the post office and the pharmacies.

The carers are all lovely and take a real interest in my father. They spend a good proportion of their time talking to him which fills his day. They take him shopping so he can choose what he wants to eat and then they cook it for him using fresh meat and vegetables.
They are very accommodating with
GP appointments - even when they fall outside of scheduled visits.
Most importantly, my dad enjoys their visits.

My mother has been receiving support from Home Instead for a few years now and has benefited greatly from their visits and the service the company provides.
Although well into her 90s, my mother is very independent but, recognising her limitations now, is very appreciative of her weekly visits. During
the last 10 months in particular, life has not been easy for anyone but Home Instead has ensured that their services have been compliant with all of the required standards demanded by the government which has allowed my mother to feel secure and that the company has her best interests in mind. This is also reassuring for me as I am not on hand to visit my mother easily, with or without COVID restrictions.

My mother suffers from vascular dementia and it was clear from the assessment period at the outset that Home Instead, for me would meet all my mother's needs. Excellent communication and up to the minute feedback via an amazing app following carers' visits were a huge comfort. Home Instead followed
up any questions/concerns quickly whilst demonstrating a high level of knowledge, understanding and attention to detail. Most important of all my mother enjoyed the level of care provided.
