We are delighted at the choice we made.

We could not be more happy with the care provided by our two carers and the others from Home Instead. We really get the sense that they are "caring" for my aunt not just providing a service. I love being able to read a little report on how the visit has gone each day. Home Instead as a company has been well-managed and easy to deal with. They are more expensive than other companies we looked at but I would say that it is money well spent and probably a better reflection of the true cost and value of the service.

We approached Home Instead when we were in desperate need of help managing my elderly father at home and from the moment we contacted Home Instead we felt we were in safe hands. They arranged to visit very quickly and from the very first visit, they were able to help us put in place what we needed and arrange for a carer to start within days. The carer was lovely and kind, professional and so respectful of my father. Sadly, we only needed their help for a short time but I cannot recommend them highly enough - they are an unusual combination of incredibly professional expertise with warmth kindness and respect that makes them feel like friends from the outset. Our only regret would be that we didn't engage them earlier.

With my sister and myself living 400+ miles away, it has been a great comfort to know that he is being so well cared for and that his wish of continuing to live in his home of 50 years has been fulfilled!

Everyone I deal with at Home Instead from carers to office staff are caring, helpful and treat me with respect.

I was delighted with the two carers who supported me for two weeks (approximately 4th December 2022 until approximately 18th December) in every way! Arrived on time and supported me throughout each day with great care. Extremely friendly and polite. I give a score of 100/100!

We will definitely keep using Home Instead to provide excellent support for us and I can't recommend them highly enough. Brilliant.

Each and every team member has exceeded our expectations and the level of care given to my mum has made things a lot easier on the family as this has eased a lot of stress and worry knowing my mum is well cared for and has her requirements met without any fuss.

Mum looks forward to seeing their smiling happy faces each day. I really don't know how we could cope without them they are invaluable. Obviously high standards in training as well as down to earth loving carers who clearly love their job. Mum can stay at the house she loves. The office staff keep me updated and give me great advice they are so kind and friendly like the carers. I can not recommend Home Instead enough. They will help and change the families' lives for the better thank you, thank you Home Instead. It's an 11 out of 10 from me.

I was keen to keep my elderly mother at home as long as she was able and latterly she has been able to stay with me, despite my working full time. This would not have been possible without Home Instead. They have worked with us to increase the level of care needed and have done their best to ensure continuity of carers as far as possible. This has allowed me to step back in the knowledge that Mum is safe and being well looked after when I am at work, by carers who really care. They have engaged with local social services, OTs and Physios and District Nurses to ensure that Mum is receiving a comprehensive joined up service. They have been able to provide round-the-clock cover with sleepovers to allow me to take some time away, without the need for a full-time live-in carer, although this would be an option in the future if needed. The office staff are friendly, caring and understanding and nothing seems to be too much trouble. I can't thank the Home Instead team enough.

The carer was a last-minute substitute for our regular carer but she slotted in as if she had always been there. Very friendly and willing to go along with whatever my husband wanted to do and very patient with his short attention/concentration span as well as prolonged periods doing the same thing.

Excellent care and companionship for my elderly housebound father. He really looks forward to his carers’ visits and enjoys chatting and reminiscing about old times with them. Our family are delighted with the service and would highly recommend.

(b) perform household duties while allowing me 2 hours to do shopping etc have each been very pleasant, helpful and very willing to carry out a variety of tasks.

I cannot praise the team of carers enough. Without the service and dedicated team my dad, I feel certain, would be in a care home and at the moment his preference and the family’s is that he remain in his own home for as long as possible. Due to their dedication, we are coping and achieving this and I’m so thankful for their assistance. They go above and beyond and I could not ask for more from any provider. Management and office staff are always so efficient, courteous and friendly and I’d highly recommend Home Instead. They make an enormous difference to the quality of life that my dad is having in his own home and I am so grateful to them.

My mum suffers from vascular dementia and also has balance problems resulting in several falls. We were at the stage of looking at residential care. We looked at live-in care as an alternative and contacted Home Instead. From the initial enquiry right through to having the care package put in place the staff have been fantastic, with the emphasis on my mum's needs. We now have two carers who live in with mum alternating weekly. They look after all her needs and spend quality time with her. Because of her dementia, mum suffered from loneliness as she would forget she had had visitors, now she has someone with her all day and hasn't been as content for a long time. We can now relax knowing she is receiving exceptional care and because she's in her own home the family and friends can come and go as we always did. We could not be happier with the level of service, the carers and management have been fantastic. Thank you Home Instead.

My mum has Alzheimer's and my dad found it hard to look after her. I was also aware he needed companionship. Initially, we used Home Instead for two times a week, but as the staff were so good I quickly increased to three times. The staff were amazing, they genuinely cared. My mum can be quite hostile to anyone entering her home, but quickly she accepted the carers due to their kind nature especially to the main caregiver. Thank you.

My carer is so good and treats me with dignity and takes great care of me. I don't know what I would do without her.

Since our initial approach and consultation period with Home Instead (Glasgow North) our experience has been a very positive one. The carers have been professional, confident, supportive, kind and friendly.
