I have been receiving care from Goodoaks for 5 years, in this time I have been extremely happy with the care I receive. The carers show compassion and they treat me with respect and dignity. The carers receive outstanding training and the office team are very friendly when I phone them. I can honestly say they all cheer my day up. It's the best care company I have ever used.

I can’t recommend this care service enough, they are very kind and caring people who maintain a high standard of care, my dad loved the girls who came to look after him, they were always happy and smiling and made him very comfortable, which in turn made us feel happy. They always maintained his dignity and nothing was to much trouble for them I would not hesitate to use this company again.

Overall Experience

We had to arrange a live in carer at very short notice and Good Oaks were able to find a carer who could start the next day. The carer is fantastic and she and my mum are having a lot of fun together. She is helping my mum rediscover her joy of cooking and playing board games. She is also very vigilant about keeping mum safe. I am so relieved knowing mum is in such good hands.

I was impressed by the consistent, excellent care provided by Good Oaks staff. They were well trained, always followed hygiene procedure correctly and were efficient and good-natured. Added to this, their caring and concern were impressive. Nothing was too much trouble and they always showed my husband respect and respected his dignity. First-class!

Overall Experience
It gives me great pleasure to submit a review on the excellent care agency, Good Oaks Home Care. I have been most impressed with their carers, who are honest, compassionate and conscientious. They also manage to keep to the times stated on their programmes, despite traffic build-up and roadworks.
They also offer advice on how certain ongoing situations could be improved where possible.

It has also been my experience that the office staff are most helpful with any concerns that may arise.

Good Oaks have been visiting me and my husband for over two years now and I have always been so impressed by their carers. They are professional, courteous and I have a small team of them that I see regularly. The office staff are friendly and let me know if there are any changes and they get back to me quickly if I have any questions. Thank you Good Oaks!

I have been working in social care for 33 years, in my role I support the team both for live-in and visiting services. I also need to ensure that our team is meeting the standards of CQC that we are delivering the best care and that all care needs are met on a day-to-day base.

Prior to working with GoodOaks, I was overseeing supported living services in Sherborne for adults with complex behaviour and I also set up a community support service for adults with Asperger's Syndrome in my previous role.
