Home Instead has made a huge difference to my mother over recent months. She has been receiving carers in her own home and at the grand old age of 91 years young has been delighted with the assistance given. The service is both adaptable and personal. Staff have displayed a high level of professionalism and are empathetic and hardworking. My mother looks forward to her regular visits and has benefited greatly. Home Instead really does its very best to please. They are always there to listen and find solutions to problems when they arise. Circumstances change and it is very reassuring to know that there is help available when needed. Thank you very much Home Instead.

I would like to thank all staff from Home Instead for the care and support offered to my mother and myself. My mother was reluctant to accept support but Home Instead were able to offer a bespoke package tailored to my mother's needs, this initially included helping with the recycling and changing the sheets on the bed as well as befriending. As my mother's needs increased she was happy to accept further support as she had become comfortable with her carers. Home Instead carefully selected carers to match my mother's interests and personality. Mum used to really enjoy their visits. My mother was offered a very thorough home assessment initially which was also reviewed, I felt very reassured by the professionalism of all staff from the carers to the managers and staff in the office. Home Instead also offered myself support during difficult times and were just a phone call away. I would recommend Home Instead and cannot thank them enough for their kindness and support they gave us

I would like to thank everyone who has been helping my mum over the last few months, not just those who care for her but also the management and support team. She really gets on with her caregivers and they are so flexible, even when she changes her mind or gets confused about arrangements. It’s so good that she sees the same people and has built up a relationship with them. They have been proactive in helping her organise medical appointments and dealing with admin, as well as providing companionship and taking care of domestic duties. Thank you also for helping organise respite care - it wouldn’t have happened without the Manager and her team going the extra mile and dealing with so many processes and date changes. I hope she enjoys her a few weeks away but I think she will miss seeing her ladies. She has definitely changed from someone who was initially very reluctant to engage with receiving care at home, to really valuing your services.

Home Instead (Cowbridge, Pontyclun & Pontypridd) looked after my elderly father who suffers with dementia, for more than the past year, only ceasing when he was hospitalised following a fall. Throughout the period, including the challenges of the COVID pandemic, the care they provided was first-rate. Specific caregivers are allocated to clients and the service they provide is tailor-made to the needs and circumstances of the individual. The service was reliable and on the odd occasion when an emergency interfered with the care schedule I was always advised of the situation and the solution that had been put in place. At no time, even in an emergency, was someone sent to cover a shift that Dad had not already met and was comfortable with. The carers treated my father as a real individual rather than as a task to be completed and did all they could to improve his quality of life as well as keeping him safe. Thoroughly recommended.

We have always been very pleased with Home Instead, they were always punctual, professional and caring.

Our mother is in her eighties and lives alone. She cannot live independently but her one desire was to remain in her own home. Home Instead (Cowbridge, Pontyclun & Pontypridd) have certainly helped us to achieve this. Needless to say the lockdown has been something of a challenge. Continuity has been key, with a small team of care givers who are punctual and friendly. Amongst the management staff there is a willingness to discuss and solve problems as they arise. An example of this, is the use of pre-paid debit cards so that carers could do the weekly shop without mum having to be present. It would be fair to say that Home Instead (Cowbridge, Pontyclun & Pontypridd) has been a lifesaver over the past year.

Since I have been looked after by Home Instead I have no complaints with the care and attention I have received. I can see all carers have been well picked and nice to have in my home.

Home Instead have been a lifeline not just for my mother but to myself and family. From the very first phone call, they have been professional and understanding of our circumstances and have been available to contact 24 hours a day. The service provided by the carers has been to the utmost standard and they cannot be praised enough. Staying at home has been her priority and without the support of Home Instead, we would not be able to make this happen.

In September 2020 we took out care for our mum with Home Instead after a recommendation from another family and we are so very glad we did! The experience of putting in place the initial care package was made so easy by the Home Instead team - especially as it was done remotely and in a very short time period! The whole team were exceptionally helpful, understanding and supportive throughout the whole process, not only with my mum but with us, her family, as well. This support and understanding have continued throughout our ‘relationship’ with Home Instead. All the careers we have met have been so wonderful, warm and genuine, and we know our mum feels the same way too as they always put her at ease and she looks forward to their visits. From our point of view as the family, communication between the team and ourselves has been exceptional - they are always very easy to contact and act quickly to sort any requests. As a family we cannot recommend the team highly enough - thank you!

In the too short a time that Home Instead provided care for my mother they proved not only to be carers but friends. Always prompt to arrive and never rushing away at the end of their allotted time they provided immense comfort not only to my mother but to all the family. They were always immaculately presented and, in these COVID times, extremely diligent in their hygiene procedures. Each and every carer showed themselves to be compassionate and whilst carrying out their duties acted carefully and tenderly to prevent causing discomfort. They provided their services at extremely short notice supplying us with a detailed timetable and care plan. If you want the best for your loved one I can not recommend them too highly.

We are extremely happy with the quality of care offered. The care team are diligent, supportive and friendly. Mum eagerly looks forward to care days as she feels her carer is part of the family. The management team are efficient and very flexible and helpful.

I have been having the two home helps since my stroke in October 2017. I find them invaluable in their help. They are a great help with shopping and keep everything spick and span. It is so nice to know that a friendly face will be coming in, they are very punctual and reliable. The office will keep me informed of any changes, and I have a regular assessment of my condition and my needs. So far I am very pleased with their service.

Home Instead provided companionship for my wife. Our carer was kind and helpful. My wife much enjoyed her company.

An unexpected and worrying situation arose where I needed to speak to Home Instead urgently. It was a Sunday afternoon. I saw in the front of the file a 24 hour number, what a relief. But even better a reassuring voice I recognised. Home instead were quickly and calmly able to reassure me and resolve my concerns. Ironically, this episode was based on my own misunderstanding and lack of knowledge. At no time was this commented upon, instead only professionalism and reassurance was given. I am extremely grateful for the exceptional service by all concerned. It is only when things get difficult that we see how good a service is in its delivery - my experience was of exceptional and effective care rarely available today. Thank you all so much.

My mother and I are delighted with the professional standards of service from Home Instead. The office team are helpful, understanding of any issues or requests, and always efficient. Mum has benefited so much from the encouragement, warmth and support of her regular caregivers and this has enriched her life greatly.

Home Instead are a fabulous company. Company seems like the wrong word to use as it feels impersonal - all staff whether it is the Care Givers, managers or office staff are so friendly, polite and efficient. Their first priority has always been mum and her well being. From the very first meeting, I have felt comfortable and secure in the knowledge mum was well cared for - particularly important as I am 200 miles away. Mum has loved having her ladies come to visit every day and looked forward to seeing them. I cannot thank the staff enough.
