Most of us at some point in our lives will have to make difficult decisions about the care and well-being of elderly or disabled loved ones. It can be a traumatic and very emotional time for all concerned. Fortunately, there are many good organisations and people who are well trained and committed to helping elderly and disabled people maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.

I decided to become a part of Right at Home because of their exceptionally high standards, their well-developed systems, and especially their ethics. Each local office is owned and managed by local people like me who are committed to serving their communities. Our endeavours are backed by Right at Home, which has a growing world-wide network of more than 500 offices. Accordingly, we have a wide support network of knowledgeable and experienced owners and our national office to draw on.

Prior to opening Right at Home South Trafford, I had masters degrees in business and marketing. I have since completed an NOQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care.

Our commitment to the South Trafford area is to ensure that the quality of care and the well-being of our clients is at the heart of everything we do. Our caregivers are carefully selected and provided with continuous training and support to enhance their skills and (if they wish) develop their careers in health and social care. We work with the client and their family to develop the right care plan for the circumstances.

As Registered Care Manager for Right at Home South Trafford, my role is to ensure the implementation and compliance of relevant legislation and regulatory body guidance. I have over 20 years of experience in Health and social care, 17 years as a Registered Care Manager in Domiciliary Care along with ‘hands-on’ care experience.  I joined Right at Home South Trafford as I share the same values, whereby trust, quality, compassion and respect are at the centre of everything they do. 

My heart is in homecare, I am very passionate about person-centred care and believe that everyone has the right to live a fulfilling life, empowering them to make decisions about what their care looks like. It is a privilege to be involved in devising person-centred support plans that enhance people’s quality of life. 

I have achieved various qualifications over the years including Level 4 in Health & Social Care, train the trainer in Alzheimer’s, Medication, Manual Handling and Safeguarding. I was fortunate enough to be chosen by the Department of Health to be trained as a Life story work train the trainer, proving to be an excellent tool when supporting clients with dementia. 

It’s important to me that all Caregivers have the skills and knowledge required to ensure we provide our clients with excellent support, ensuring dignity, respect and safety always. 

I have a positive outlook and am at my happiest when I am helping people. I hope that my experience and compassion will support people on their homecare journey. I love meeting clients along with building great relationships with both clients and caregivers. 

I love cats and flamingos! I enjoy family time, and always looking to experience new things. 

Hi, my name is Nicola, while working with Right at Home I was completing my health and social care degree. Working at Right at Home as a carer while studying allowed me to learn the practical side of care as well as help me complete my assignments. I have been working for Right at Home for almost three years now, I now have a Level six degree in Integrated Health and Social Care and have been promoted to senior carer.

I have always been interested in care, as I enjoy helping others and working alongside others too. I am a very caring and passionate person and I love getting to know people. I also love to cook, do gardening and spend time with my amazing children.

My name is Sophie and I am a Senior Caregiver at Right at Home South Trafford. I began working for Right at Home in 2018. Throughout my time here, I have achieved Level 2 and Level 3 in Health and Social Care. I love being out in the community, meeting the clients and bringing a smile to their faces.

I enjoy learning new things, and I am always willing to expand my knowledge. It is important to me that Caregivers and clients are happy, as this allows the team to provide the best quality of care.

The team at Right at Home are amazing, and it is a joy to work with every one of them.

My home life is busy, I am very family orientated, I like to spend my free time on mini adventures with my children whether sunny or raining ( they may not agree!). I also love collecting rare Pokemon cards.
