The service was faultless. Carers arrived on time every day, prepared to do anything required of them. The carers had great personalities and were great company to have around me post hip surgery. I have friends use other care agencies who have fallen well below an expected level of service, care and consideration.
The carers are well-trained, extremely caring and ready to take on all aspects of personal care to make life easy for their clients.
Many will take on extras to be helpful.
It is good that all carers are introduced to their clients by shadowing a known member of staff.
The office staff are helpful and do their best to comply with requests.
Since commencing this service in January 2018, we have been impressed with all standards of care and consideration offered. Ont he days used, we got the same carer and are notified in advance of any changed. Timekeeping is excellent as is the standard of care and consideration given to my husband and myself which is very good. He is treated with dignity and consideration.
The carers have put the "care" back into caring. I feel totally happy and at ease with them looking after my mum's needs. I couldn't ask for more of them.
I am very pleased with the care I have received it was very professional. The ladies were very helpful and willing. I felt that the staff in the office need to be more aware of notifying clients sooner when alterations are made.
We have been using their services since November but have very quickly built up a great rapport with the team of lovely carers. They are punctual, trustworthy, kind, friendly and supportive to both my husband and myself and they always care for him with respect and dignity. Thus to say, we are very pleased so far and are sure we will have a long and happy working relationship.
All the carers are cheerful and helpful. My husband feels very comfortable with them. They always arrive on time and if for any reason there is a delay the office has always informed me. I would recommend Unique Senior Care to others in similar circumstances.
The care we receive is of the highest quality. We can totally rely upon our regular caregivers for punctuality, consideration and professionalism. They will always go above and beyond what is normally required if it helps improve our care and our situation. They make the experience one which is centred around what is best for us. They are ‘lovely’ and have become friends to rely upon.
A wonderful service that I used during a period of post-operative recovery. A well-managed agency that provided me with three excellent carers that were kind, helpful, cheerful and very supportive. The care I received has been a contributory factor in my recovery. I would always recommend the agency and would use them again in the future if I needed to do so. Compared to other agencies, Home Instead are "Simply the Best".
I required carers for my elderly aunt and uncle that I could trust and rely upon. My aunt and uncle didn't trust people easily and didn't like people in their home. My uncle, who initially required the carer, was very reluctant. I spent my time searching for a suitable carer and I came across Home Instead details which impressed me and coincidentally, a neighbour then recommended them to me. The Manager of Coventry South, had the balance of qualities that you would seek in a carer. As my uncle was reluctant, she stepped in and became the Care Giver for my uncle initially to get him used to having a carer; she was wonderful. She managed to get him to co-operate in receiving personal hygiene care, particularly showering. Unfortunately, just when we started to increase the care within the home, my uncle had a stroke and was admitted into hospital. The Manager found him and took charge of the situation, and stayed with my auntie at home when he was admitted. Excellent!
Carers always punctual, friendly and helpful.
Entrusting a loved one to strangers is very hard but from the first visit of the caregivers, my mother in law was happy. In her words, they "just clicked."
Time and thought had been taken to make sure the caregivers matched mum's needs and personality.
The relief for the family knowing that she is being well cared for by a professional caring team is immeasurable.
We are very happy to be enjoying a high level of service being provided by our care giver. She offers support, personal care and understanding of the problems with which we are faced and makes suggestions for possible solutions. Professionalism at all times is commendable as is their general demeanour.
We anticipate their visits with pleasure and we are never disappointed. Various meetings with other staff ie office staff and management personnel, have always been informative and very respectful of our individual circumstances. We hold the agency in high esteem.
We have two regular carers who attend once a day each morning and attend to personal care. We are delighted with the standard of care we receive. They are friendly and caring, always treating us with respect and dignity. They go out of their way and above and beyond of what is expected. We don't know what we would do without them. They definitely are appreciated.
Carers very helpful - necessary to have same carers to build confidence.
A member of my family originally found out about Home Instead by searching the internet. I have been using their services for just over a year.
I had a heavy fall some years ago on my right side. The consultant said that my hips was so strong that it had pushed the bone into my pelvis. This resulted in a limp, and last year in addition the discs in my spine collapsed through wear and tear. This has left me with a stoop, and not as mobile as I used to be!
A carer visits me once a day at 8.00am every morning for one hour. She assists me with a shower and dressing, and prepares breakfast and a salad lunch. As I have some arthritis, she also opens any containers and does some occasional light cleaning, including vacuuming. It is also pleasant to have a little chat about common interests.
I find these visits help me to start my day in a positive way, and I look forward to the next morning. I also appreciate the regular contact by Home Instead central office to confirm that my needs are sill being met, and advance monthly notification of names of my visitors.
My family appreciate the reassurance that I receive this regular assistance with my morning needs each day. I can manage fine in the evenings, and various family members visit quite often when they are free to do so.
The carers for my mum are excellent. They treat her with respect and good humour. Any problems are notified to me immediately and the team try their hardest to assist mum in any way they can. I cannot fault her two main carers, they are always punctual, stop for the full hour and give Mum their attention. They try to improve her mood each day with fun and humour. They also take her for walks or shopping to get her moving when they can. I am extremely pleased with the service given us.
From my very first encounter with Home Instead I felt confident that the staff understood the challenges of caring for aged parents with mental health needs/ physical needs and dementia. Everything seems to have been thought about. A highly personal approach has been offered and every time I need to contact Home Instead I find them sympathetic and accommodating. I cannot recommend them highly enough, indeed I have signposted some of my patients, (I'm a GP) to Home Instead as I am so impressed with their personal, thorough approach and high standard of care.
Very satisfactory, my carers are kind, considerate and caring and willing to do things beyond the call of duty.
Home Instead Senior Care have been a life saver to us. Their care has been first class. Both parents have cancer and my mother has dementia, 6 months ago we were really struggling. Home Instead Senior Care have got us back on track and both parents are doing well. We have the continuity of 2/3 different carers but mostly they see the same face everyday. Their support has been first class. I would recommend them to anyone. Trustworthy, kind, caring, fun and professional are a few words to describe our carer.

Meet the Team (1)
We are delighted that Nikki is the Registered Manager for our service in Stratford on Avon.
With over 20 years of care experience, she started her career in care at the age of 16, working in a care home looking after the elderly, whilst also studying at college to gain her Health and Social Care qualifications
Nikki is now a very experienced Care Manager, having worked in a range of different care settings from private and public hospitals, care homes, home care and including 18 years working with Mencap supporting people with Learning Disabilities.
A huge advocate of elderly care at home, Nikki fully understands the benefits of physical and mental wellbeing of both her clients and her support team and she truly believes in the right for everyone to be able to live safely, with respect and dignity in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by the things they know and love.
Nikki loves getting to know our customers and their families, as they are all unique. She also understands the benefits of listening to their life stories, and hearing about their interests and wider families; as this enables her team to really know the people they are caring for and make each visit count and make them happy.
Outside of work, Niki has two children, two dogs – one of which weighs more than her two children and enjoys getting out in the countryside for a family walk.
