Brillant team, at the shortest of notices they have been able to assist with getting cover for me. My mum is housebound and needs help with everyday tasks. Their staff are amazing, on time and nothing is any trouble, my mum loves them being here in our home and is comforted by just knowing she is not on her own. Would recommend very highly.
Many thanks for the review, supporting Mum is a real privilege for us; the girls love visiting and supporting Mum and hopefully providing time for you and the family. The team will be delighted and feel appreciated with your feedback, thanks again.
My elderly mother has been using the services of live in care with Avelo Care since February 2019. My mother is extremely happy to have live in care, and she has two lovely carers who work four weeks on and four weeks off. This arrangement works really well for both the carers and especially my mother, as both carers bring something different to Mum's care, ranging from conversation and company to general wellbeing and Mum is extremely well looked after. I am so impressed with how my mother is looked after, the huge difference this has made to her life and the most important objective that this enables her to remain living in her own home which is her one wish with dignity. I have no hesitation in recommending Avelo Care as the difference this has made to mother and family is life-changing for us all.
Thank you so much for the review and kind words. It is an absolute pleasure and a privilege to be part of Mum's support package. Seeing her looking so well and cheerful means so much to her carers and the support team.
The owner, manageress and the team at Avelo Care have been a huge help in keeping dad safe and happy in his own home in Broadstairs. They are a critical part of Dad's support set up as he struggles with Alzheimer's. They are thoughtful in their approach, proactive and clearly experienced - we really value that. They have got to know Dad well and continue to tailor their support to best meet his needs.
Many thanks for the review, it is a pleasure to be part of your Dad's support network, thank you for putting your trust in Avelo.
From the first contact, Avelo care have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Professional, efficient and probably more importantly kind and compassionate. They are flexible when changes are needed and have even popped back when we have been away to do a last check in the evening. If something needs bringing to my attention this is done in a timely fashion with care taken knowing that I teach. Although it took a while for Mum to get used to the visits (being a fiercely independent 84-year-old) she now feels totally comfortable and looks forward to them coming. Thoroughly recommended.
Many thanks for the review, the girls and I love visiting your Mum, she is a lovely lady and an absolute pleasure to support. Thank you for trusting Avelo with Mum's care, the team will be over the moon with your feedback.
Initial contact and assessment of the client was very positive and it was clear that a suitable care package could be provided, tailored to need but also flexible if the level of care needed to be increased. After the first period of care at home, with sensitive and professional carers, there followed a few weeks in a care home because more intensive support was needed. The client returned to their own home, initially with full-time care; again the carer was excellent and provided just the right support. The care need diminished so it was reduced to twice daily visits, then once a day and finally no care. The daily carers were slightly more variable than the full-time carers. The client is now managing very well on their own without support.
Many thanks for taking the time to make a review. It is very pleasing to hear of the travel plans for the coming months, all very exciting and pleasing to know that we have played a small part in her recovery.
It has been a happy period in my life, since my wife died in January, only by the pleasant and effective service provided by this homecare service. The companionship and friendship have been important factors in my ability to continue a meaningful life as an old (91 years) pensioner, previously dependent upon a loving wife, now greatly missed. A very good and valuable service indeed.
I found Avelo Care very easy to deal with in regard to every aspect of my mother's care, whether it be day or time changes to my mother's routine or when Avelo Care thought they should bring something to my attention. My mother always said how nice the ladies were and felt secure and comfortable in their company. Professional company to deal with.
Many thanks for the review, it is a pleasure to be part of Mum's support.
Since engaging Avelo Care to look after my father, I have found all of the members of the Avelo team to be extremely helpful, courteous at all times and a pleasure to deal with. This is especially necessary for me as I live so far away from my father and need to have a very flexible care package and this Avelo supply wonderfully. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
I also wanted to thank you for putting your trust in me and the team for something so important to someone so close to you.
