Beloved Homecare is a family-run business based in Urmston, rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission in (March 2018) and (December 2020). They are currently the only care home provider with a current overall Outstanding rating in Trafford and the husband and wife business is also the cheapest of all the private homecare providers in Trafford (April 2025).

The motivation to enter the homecare market came after the mother of the owner received poor quality care whilst suffering from the early stages of dementia.

With ‘Outstanding’ home care services from Beloved Homecare, their clients continue to live independently within the comfort and familiarity of their own home instead of having to go into residential care.

Client welfare is at the heart of every decision made and because of this, continual feedback is hugely important. A high level of transparency ensures that the care provided is of the highest possible standard and is meeting all service user requirements.

All members of staff are subject to thorough pre-employment checks to ensure safety and compliance. In addition to this, members of staff receive comprehensive training with regular updates to provide the highest quality care.

My husband is happy for the carer for one week to look after my husband as sadly he had to go into hospital. He has MSA, multiple system atrophy and this affected his blood pressure so he could not stand without passing out. She was lovely with him and handled his personal care so well and thoughtfully.
She was very cheerful and chatted to him about different things. When they came to our house to discuss his needs they were both very interested in his life and what he liked.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank this small family based, client centred care agency for their sensitive approach and patience in introducing and establishing a package of care for my father. He is beginning to fail physically and cognitively and has always resisted any formal care up
until recently. He has lived on his own for 20 years, proud and independent and to accept 'outside help' has been a challenge for all his dependents who live away from the family home.


However he has accepted a weekly carer in with open arms and remains positive about their regular intervention which is both practical and socially supportive.


Feedback with any concerns has been timely and appropriate and we now communicate openly via emails which is effective in keeping everyone up to date.


I would have no hesitation in recommending this care agency for providing personalised, reliable, flexible and compassionate intervention extending from management to care staff.

I am so sorry I have taken so long to complete this form, I am 85 years old and not well, but the care I have is excellent, they look after me very well. They are very caring and efficient in all they do, it is like being part of a family. I have all my needs taken care of in the very best way. My carers
never leave here without all my needs taken care of, the whole family who look after me and all their clients very well, much more than anyone could wish for. I am unable to walk after a serious operation, I spent 6 months in the Salford Royal then 6 weeks in Ascot House, all very good.

Heritage are a breath of fresh air to the caring profession, we are very fortunate to have them support our son.


Unlike some other agencies, they are proactive in suggesting venus and opportunities to 'entertain' him. They understand his needs and personality type, and match supporters accordingly.


They

are extremely anxious to please and often phone to check that we are happy with their service.


They exceed our expectations and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I would highly recommend Heritage Heathcare. The carers arrive on time and support my father who is over 100 years old with all his personal care needs. My parents are very happy that they have regular carers that are friendly, competent and caring. My parents now look forward to the carers visits and
are pleased that we have found Heritage Heathcare who provide the quality of care we have been unable to find previously.

We recently transferred my parents care to Heritage Healthcare as we were not happy with the standard being received. Heritage have provided all that we had hoped for from a care provider. The staff are friendly and professional and my parents have quickly come to regard them as friends. They keep in
regular contact with us and keep us abreast of everything. My parents have gone from being sullen and miserable to being cheerful and content. We would recommend Heritage to anyone to date, we are delighted with their service.

Heritage Healthcare have been absolutely first class with the daily care of my 97 year old grandma since July 2015. They really are a great support to both my grandma, myself and the immediate family. We have also seen a real boost in grandma's energy due to the help she now has in the mornings. Due
to arthritis simple things like getting dressed and making breakfast were becoming very difficult and frustrating but now all that stress has gone. Grandma knows that her carer will arrive at the same time every morning and help her to start her day. It has very quickly become a vital part of grandma's routine and routine is extremely important to her. All of the staff are extremely considerate and caring and really do taken the time to get to know who and what is important to my grandma. We have already seen a big increase in grandma's energy due to the assistance she has and her new routine, this will ensure she can continue living at home for many more years to come.

Mark Collier

Mark Collier is the Managing Director of Beloved Homecare. Mark’s passion for care was ignited following the diagnosis of his late mother with Alzheimer’s disease. After seeing first-hand the standards of care available, Mark decided to research the market and complete his care diplomas. Mark regularly keeps in contact with clients and family members, with the aim to ensure that all current clients are happy with their service and if any changes need to be made, they’re implemented.


Mark is a trustee of ‘Age UK Trafford’.


Mark said: “My primary aim is to remain Trafford’s best provider of care in the eyes of service users and their families.”

Wendy

Wendy Gorton

Job Title: Registered Care Manager Joined: 2015

Beloved Homecare's Registered Care Manager, Wendy Gorton has over 20 years' experience working within the NHS on Assessment Units for older patients with Dementia and adults with varied Mental Health issues. She brings with her expertise in dealing with challenging behaviours, delivering solutions to enable people to remain as independent as possible in their own home.


She says, "People are living longer and as such, are developing more longer-term, complex and challenging needs which have to be met. The homecare landscape is changing, and providers need to move from a home help service to a more person-centred healthcare focus"

Alex

Alex Collier

Alex is responsible for the companies’ recruitment & retention strategy, ensuring that only the best people make it through the candidate selection process. Alex also ensures that all staff members are well equipped for their job, monitoring all training records, as it is crucial all staff members have the best and most up to date training. Alex said, “Quite simply, in order to provide the best care possible, we need caring and compassionate people who are always willing to go the extra mile for our clients”.

Emma

Emma Sharples

Emma joined Beloved in 2016 as a Care Assistant before progressing to a Care Supervisor. Emma previously studied at university and gained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology; she works closely with Wendy when onboarding new clients and building care packages and support plans.


To provide the best care possible staff know that if they have any problems or queries, they can speak to either Wendy or Emma and discuss any concerns they may have. Additionally, Emma monitors the company's care policies and practices ensuring they are kept up to date and are the best they can be. Alongside this, Emma is also responsible for logging all care information reported back to the office. “Increasingly more people want to remain in their own home, anything we can do to support their lifestyle and allow this will only enrich their wellbeing further”

Jake

Jake Gorton

Job Title: Operations Director Joined: 2017

Before joining Beloved in 2017, Jake attended University obtaining a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology.


Jake is responsible for creating & maintaining staff rotas, on a weekly basis. He is tasked with ensuring client and carer continuity as this is vital to the well-being of our clients. Jake is also tasked with minimising travel for our team of Care Assistants and sustainability providing all members of staff with their desired working hours. Jake also helps to implement any new technologies that can, in anyway, improve the lives of our staff and clients.

April Duffy

Job Title: Care Supervisor Joined: 2016

Before joining Beloved Homecare in 2016, April obtained a Bachelor's of Science Honours in Anatomy & Physiology in 2015 at Sligo Institute of Technology and also a Bachelors of Science Honours in Sport Rehabilitation at Salford University. April is responsible for mentoring and working closely alongside new starters to give them feedback and support within their new role. She also liaises with clients and their families to ensure needs & wishes are met. April works closely with Emma in building and updating Clients' support plans.
