We were recommended Right at Home Solent for care and support for my dad, who has Alzheimer's. My main priority was for the caregivers to provide company for my dad for the hour they visited and to make him lunch. They did this very professionally, and I was always kept informed via their feedback online
if they had any concerns. We were told at the beginning of his care that we only had to ask if we felt he required more care at any time. I would recommend them to others.

A very friendly professional care service. Very flexible, helpful and accommodating with some lovely caregivers. They gave support, companionship and the admin staff were really helpful. The supervisors made regular visits to check everything was working well. I would definitely recommend them.

When bringing my Husband home from a Nursing Home because of Covid19 this company were totally supportive and ready to supply the care my Husband needs.
The carers are experienced and friendly and always helpful to both of us.

We first started using the agency after my mum had fallen at home. It was going to be temporary but worked so well we have continued using the services for more than a year. My dad has Alzheimer's and it is extremely important that he feels comfortable with the caregivers. He does and more recently
he has had a carer helping him shower twice a week. That has worked very well. My sister and I don't live locally and I can't stress enough how much support the agency have offered both during the lockdown period and at times of emergency when my mum had to go into hospital for example. Being able to trust an agency and its carers is essential. I have no hesitation in recommending Right at Home.

Right at Home have been amazing since we started to need help for our mother. Mum was fiercely independent and against any help but in time got to know the carers and looked forward to their visits. Mum's needs started changing mid-December and during Christmas week she started to become unwell. Not
only did the carers go that extra bit to support Mum, the office staff stepped in to provide extra hours which we had asked for but knew this was difficult due to the Christmas holidays. Any new staff were shadowed first and never visited on there own before meeting Mum. Sadly, Mum passed away in hospital on New Years Day but had her wish that she remained at home and was an amazing 95 years old. We could never have helped her with her wishes without the support of the Right at Home staff. Thank you all.

My family and I were quite wary when we first started looking for carers for our mum. We couldn't have made a better choice. We are so pleased with the service, the Caregivers, the office staff - every single person in this agency is totally excellent.
We cannot begin to thank them for their professionalism,
their care and attention to detail, their kindness - everything concerning Mum's care was dealt with, and each individual Caregiver was kind, friendly, happy and professional.

I have never used a care agency before so have no comparisons but I cannot even put into words how wonderful, caring and thoughtful the staff and management have been at Right at Home (Solent). Above and beyond the call of duty is an understatement.
The caregivers have all been extremely kind, helpful
and caring and all behaved in a very professional manner.
This has taken all the stress and strain away from my brother and I in dealing with my Mother’s care. I would recommend this agency to anyone who needs help with looking after an elderly relative.

I have been delighted with the amazing care mum has received over the last twelve months from the managing director and his team at Right at Home.
Their outstanding rating has been well deserved. Communications have been brilliant all round and I have always felt confident that when help was needed,
that this service would always go that extra mile not only to provide practical help but also to give reassurance to both Mum and to us as a family. There have been times when we have needed support in an emergency and their response has been outstanding. It has been so reassuring to know they were always there. Carers appear well trained and supported and have been carefully selected for their kindness. It has been a very great pleasure for mum and I to meet and work with them all.

My 98 year old mother lives in her own home and wishes to continue to do so. She had recently suffered a fall and additional help at home was desirable.
I contacted Right at Home Solent and they were extremely helpful and considerate as well as professional in every way.
They found a very suitable
carer and the introductory process was excellent.
Unfortunately, we were unable to proceed with the arrangement but I would have no hesitation in recommending Right at Home Solent to anyone seeking care at home.

The Right at Home Solent team have supported us since October 2018. Everyone has been professional, sensible and has a good knowledge of our needs and how to help. Carers are very patient, calm and understanding when my husband is too tired to be helped. They are experienced and have a good knowledge
of their job.
The manager visited my husband in hospital and spoke to the nurses, so had a good grasp of our problems. He visited our home to see the environment the carers would be working in.
The scheduling team arranged care quickly as my husband was depressed because of his stay in hospital.
The Right at Home Solent carers are well trained in practical caring. They allowed him to recover without pressurising him and gave him his confidence back. He has been housebound for a couple of years with incontinence, and physical problems. Carers help because they talk with him about things he likes.
I hope to continue with Right at Home Solent as long as my husband is able to stay at home.

We have found since our sister in law has been with the agency 'Right at Home', she has changed to be a different woman and they have given her a better life. The agency we have found, with their staff, to have looked after and cared for our sister in law to the highest degree possible.

Right at Home provided wonderful care to my Dad when he came out of hospital following day surgery. The two carers that were with Dad for 24 hours were caring kind, supportive and helpful. It was reassuring to know that Dad could stay in his own home, which is what he wanted and that he would be looked
after so well. This is the second time that we have used Right at Home.for my Dad following operations and they provide a professional and caring service from the moment you call them to arrange care. I would recommend them to other people.

Hello – my name is Kev Popat and I am the Managing Director of Right at Home Solent.


Right at Home Solent exists solely to improve the lives of those we care for, not merely maintaining their quality of life but with a genuine focus on improvement.


I truly believe that everyone deserves the right to quality care, the same sort of care that I would want my Gran to receive. And nothing but the best would suffice for my Gran! Likewise, nothing but the best should suffice for any member of your family.


I’m fortunate to have been brought up in a joint family home, so spent most of my early years with my grandparents whilst my parents were working hard to secure a future for my brother and myself. I have so many fond memories of these initial years (mostly drinking tea and eating biscuits!). Imagining my Gran receiving care from someone who has no interest in her is the reason I’m here today.


There is no better feeling in the world than making someone’s day; the team we are putting together will be making people’s days, every single day.

As Operations Director, I manage the daily operations of the business to ensure effective planning and overall efficiency. I go on-site to supervise and evaluate middle management. I also lead recruitment and address questions and concerns from staff, address problems and shortcomings, and provide insight to streamline the business.


I have further interest in ensuring we are fully integrated with the local community we serve. We are always looking for opportunities to get involved with fayres, fetes, charities, sponsored events, coffee mornings and volunteering, so feel free to contact me if we can help at a local event, or simply for more information about Right at Home Solent.
