Right at Home Solent - Fareham, Gosport, Southampton East

Right at Home have been amazing since we started to need help for our mother. Mum was fiercely independent and against any help but in time got to know the carers and looked forward to their visits. Mum's needs started changing mid-December and during Christmas week she started to become unwell. Not only did the carers go that extra bit to support Mum, the office staff stepped in to provide extra hours which we had asked for but knew this was difficult due to the Christmas holidays. Any new staff were shadowed first and never visited on there own before meeting Mum. Sadly, Mum passed away in hospital on New Years Day but had her wish that she remained at home and was an amazing 95 years old. We could never have helped her with her wishes without the support of the Right at Home staff. Thank you all.

Right at Home provided wonderful care to my Dad when he came out of hospital following day surgery. The two carers that were with Dad for 24 hours were caring kind, supportive and helpful. Right at home Solent go above and beyond when it comes to looking after their customers and their staff. They offer a personalised and meaningful service to their customers. Right at Home are very flexible and did their utmost when we needed more help at a moment's notice. Staff are helpful, patient, friendly and understanding.

I was impressed by the immediate response at 2 days noticed by the agency to provide a carer for an hour every morning on my discharge from hospital. The first visit involved a difficult situation regarding my wound and the carer coped well until the community nurse arrived. Carers and nurses co-operated during the early weeks of my arrival home. Carers assisted me to regain my mobility until I was able to manage to shower myself alone with safety. They always arrived on time.

The service I get for my husband is excellent, and carers I have had and the carer that comes now is also excellent. I would certainly recommend the Right at Home Solent service to anyone who wanted looking after and caring for. It was like the best day when I was introduced to Right at Home Solent.

Right at Home (Solent) is on a completely different and higher level to the majority of care services we have had experience with. From communication on what is to to be done, with weekly sheets so we know exactly who is coming and at what time, right through to the actual care given, I cannot fault them in any way. Our mum gets on so well with all the carers and receives the very best care from every single one of the visiting staff. They are attentive, punctual and very professional in all their dealings with us and mum. It gives us great peace of mind to know that she is being cared for by this company that is just doing things the right way, with no fuss or drama.
