I cannot express how grateful I am to ALL the staff including the cleaners of the professional caring and dignified way my uncle has been looked after. The staff work tirelessly to care and provide support not only to my uncle but to our family as well.
Thank You.

We have been very pleased with the care provided for Mum. The carers are very friendly and supportive and genuinely seem interested in Mum and in meeting her needs. We feel they do a good job looking after her and have her best interests at heart. We have also been very appreciative of the management
in their support during the transition of Mum’s care needs, as they have recently increased and are of a very complex nature.

On the whole, my experience with Manor Court is okay, however, my main comments are regarding my regular morning carer, who is absolutely superb. It is important for me to have the "right" carer - someone who I can trust and feel totally safe with. My regular morning carer has that in spades and more.
She is one of only two people who I feel able to assist me with a shower, something which requires an enormous amount of trust on my part. She has an exceptional understanding of my needs and insecurities and I have never, ever felt vulnerable with her. I know that however, I am feeling that day it will be okay and anything that needs sorting out she will do it without having to be asked first. Unfortunately, I don't find the evening calls so easy as my regular evening carer has just moved over to days, and I am having a lot of different carers coming in to do the night call which causes some anxiety for me.

I have been more than satisfied with care and service from both carers and office staff.
They have been quick to right any changes.
More to the point, my mum who is 100, has adjusted to the care. Mum is very independant so that is not always easy.

We have excellent care from Manorcourt for my husband. The girls who come in and care for him are all very good. They are very caring and good at what they do for him. I would recommend this company is asked.

I am writing this to commend a member of your staff - She is my usual main carer and she is fantastic. She is always ready to assist me in any way I need. She deals with my mental health issues professionally and takes no offence on my bad days. She is a true carer and should be used as an example to
other carers. I believe I would struggle without her to assist me as currently, she is the only carer who can talk me into a shower. Other carers will either not ask or ask and when I say no just leave it be. She is persistent and she really gets to know her clients. I am grateful to the agency for allotting her as my carer. Very grateful her as she makes life just so much easier for both myself and my partner. Accepting my dogs and dealing with my quirky ways isn't part of the service that I've received from other agencies or indeed other carers, but my carer takes it all in her stride. If you commend your carers then my carer should be first in line. Thank you to my carer for her first-rate professional care.

My father first started receiving agency care for assistance as he has Alzheimer's, in May 2016. My sister and I have both been very involved in personally providing our father's care. We realised in early 2016 that he needed more support than we were able to provide so sought help and advice.

The

staff at Manorcourt Care have gone above and beyond in their understanding of our father's specific needs. They have provided him with a safe and secure environment, a regularity and structure to his day which has certainly improved his well-being, physically and mentally.
Review meetings are held and if necessary things have improved and strategies put in place.

Manorcourt staff understand the complex and changing needs that are required for dealing with dementia and are willing and happy to adjust their routines accordingly.

Because of Manorcourt's help our father has been able to remain living independently and we are secure in the fact that he is safe and happy

Thank You.

An excellent, caring service with a very client centred approach. The carers are wonderful and are both efficient and friendly. We have found their help and advice invaluable and have no hesitation in choosing this care service as our long term provider. The quality of the care team would be very difficult
to beat.

We are very pleased with the professional way the carers look after my brother. Everything is done just right so he is comfortable when they leave. I have no problems with them, they treat my brother with great respect which is a good thing, If we need any shopping for any reason they will get it for
us. They are always very punctual and tidy.

My Father has been receiving care from Manor Court for approx 8 months now and more recently he has been taking into respite care to give my Mother a break. I simply do not know what I would have done without the help, care and support that I have received from Manor Court - specifically the Manager
and Team Leader. They have gone way above the call of duty to care for my Father and also taken into consideration the health of my Mother. Without the help of these Carers both of my Parents would not be able to live independently and I would be at a complete loss as to how to care for them. Both the Manager and Team Leader have been a tremendous amount of help to my Parents and have extended that care and support to the whole family. They have arranged for all the relevant services to be involved, and made sure that my father receives all the help and support that he is entitled to. I literally cannot thank these Ladies enough - they truly are a pair of Angels.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.3 (9.317) out of 10 for Manorcourt Homecare (Harlow & Loughton) is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.417 for Manorcourt Homecare (Harlow & Loughton) is calculated as follows: ( (30 Excellents x 5) + (25 Goods x 4) + (5 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 60 Ratings = 4.417
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Manorcourt Homecare (Harlow & Loughton) is based on 9 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.9
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
