The well-trained team provides companionship-based care, while supporting and encouraging clients to remain living independently in their own homes. Their goal is to bring joy to each client, each day, as well as providing practical support and assistance.

Care Professionals are fully trained and experienced in providing dementia and complex care.

Care plans are tailored to meet the individual requirements of each client, ensuring that time is spent with each client, fulfilling their personal needs and sharing stories, playing games and enjoying regular outings. If desired, clients can receive help with cooking, bathing, dressing, grooming and assistance with eating.

Care Professionals are matched with clients with similar interests to ensure a meaningful relationship can be developed. Care Professionals visit regularly, with a minimum one-hour visit in order that relationships can form and clients look forward to the visits.

Since June 2024, Home Instead (Bristol North) is delighted to be able to also offer Live-in Care. Live-In Care Professionals are there for you 7 days a week, week after week, providing personalised support tailored to your needs. Whether it's assistance with daily activities, companionship, or simply being there for peace of mind, the dedicated team can help. Live-in care helps you stay in the comfort of your own home, not a care home, with continuity of care from a dedicated Care Professional who lives with you long-term.

Like the fact they introduced the carer to the client, don't wear a uniform which creates a more friendly atmosphere. Excellent communication skills from admin staff and carers alike. Excellent pairing of carer to client gives a more personal service. Thank you for everything you do for me.

Home Instead is a wonderful care agency providing an excellent service for people with health needs. Our good, kind carer takes my husband out on a Monday, gives him a bath on Tuesday and is the right person to fulfil his needs. Home Instead are always there to offer support.

This agency takes the greatest care in matching clients to carers.
All the staff I have spoken to are friendly, understanding, respectful and empathetic to the situations they are presented with.

Home Instead has been a marvellous discovery for us. We have found that both the office staff and the carers themselves are all very friendly and always helpful and trying to sort out our various problems and requests.
The three carers we have encountered have all been well trained and carefully chosen
to suit my sister's needs. She now looks forward to their visits and enjoys the various activities which they suggest. Thank you all.

As I was recovering from fractured spinal vertebrae, I needed companionship and help with shopping etc as I am very unsteady on my feet. The carer who came from Home Instead was far beyond expectations with her kindness, understanding and quick observation of my needs, even before I see them myself.
I always feel perfectly safe when out with her and she is helping me regain confidence. Best of all we can laugh together.

My loved one is very independent and wishes to continue living an independent life, however, this can only be achieved by extra care in her own home.
'Home Instead' have been wonderful and second to none in delivering the care package required. My loved one is looked after with such care, dignity and
understanding. The office always responds to queries promptly, this is a huge comfort to me as I live some distance away.
I can truly say that 'Home Instead' have supported us as a family, from the fantastic team of caregivers to the supportive proactive office team. The service of care is so personal, we are not a number, we feel as though we are part of the 'Home Instead' family and are so grateful and appreciate the care shown to us all.
I totally and unreservedly endorse 'Home Instead'.

Home Instead has been a lifeline for us. My wheelchair bound husband who is also suffering from vascular dementia, needs to be helped in many ways and now has a carer several times a week to get him up, shower him and wash his hair. This is all done with care and respect and a gentle encouragement,
not to mention a good sense of humour. We had tried several other caregivers with no real success, so it was with a sense of relief when we were recommended to try Home Instead. Their philosophy for looking after their ‘clients’ is excellent. They do their best to ‘match’ carers with clients and the staff have proved excellent. The company is very well run and it is clear from the comments from the carers themselves that they feel they, in turn, are also well looked after. The atmosphere seems very happy. They also organise monthly film shows for their clients and other elderly people in the area, which allows people to meet each other.

The owner was so thoughtful, patient and kind in helping us find the right kind of services for my Dad. He came to Dad's house several times and got to know him. What I really liked was the way he really listened to Dad and looked for the things that made my Dad's eyes light up. He also understood
when my Dad was resistant to getting help and was patient and understanding. I really appreciate all the help he gave us. This is a great company.

The compassionate and inclusive care, and attention to detail, from all engaged at Home Instead, were first class and carried through to the point of delivery. The lady engaged to look after my Mum was proactive, kind and caring. Her visits provided Mum with companionship and allowed her to get out
and about each week. All very much appreciated.

We chose Home Instead Senior Care (Bristol North) as we liked their ethos of matching the caregiver to the client's needs, so that there is a common interest and that dad would never have a caregiver turn up that he hadn't met before.


We have been very impressed with the service and support that

we get from the whole team. They are very approachable, nothing is too much trouble and all the ladies are cheerful and friendly and take time to listen and talk with dad. When I have needed to change hours, this has been done without any issue. Dad enjoys his visits and I have peace of mind that he is being looked after by a lovely team of caregivers.
