The staff have always been friendly, helpful and kind and mum has been matched with some lovely caregivers who have treated mum with respect, patience and dignity. She always enjoys her companion visits; she enjoys the freedom, independence and friendship they offer her and looks forward to her next one.
'Home Instead' have been wonderful and second to none in delivering the care package required. My loved one is looked after with such care, dignity and understanding. The office always responds to queries promptly, this is a huge comfort to me as I live some distance away.
I can truly say that 'Home Instead' have supported us as a family, from the fantastic team of caregivers to the supportive proactive office team. The service of care is so personal, we are not a number, we feel as though we are part of the 'Home Instead' family and are so grateful and appreciate the care shown to us all.
I totally and unreservedly endorse 'Home Instead'.
Deal with issues promptly and sensitively. Know their business well and able to provide the support needed when we are floundering.
Absolutely fantastic carer. Everybody is really professional and caring. I am really satisfied with the service Home Instead Bristol provides.
Home Instead has been a lifeline for us. My wheelchair bound husband who is also suffering from vascular dementia, needs to be helped in many ways and now has a carer several times a week to get him up, shower him and wash his hair. This is all done with care and respect and a gentle encouragement, not to mention a good sense of humour. We had tried several other caregivers with no real success, so it was with a sense of relief when we were recommended to try Home Instead. Their philosophy for looking after their ‘clients’ is excellent. They do their best to ‘match’ carers with clients and the staff have proved excellent. The company is very well run and it is clear from the comments from the carers themselves that they feel they, in turn, are also well looked after. The atmosphere seems very happy. They also organise monthly film shows for their clients and other elderly people in the area, which allows people to meet each other.
The owner was so thoughtful, patient and kind in helping us find the right kind of services for my Dad. He came to Dad's house several times and got to know him. What I really liked was the way he really listened to Dad and looked for the things that made my Dad's eyes light up. He also understood when my Dad was resistant to getting help and was patient and understanding. I really appreciate all the help he gave us. This is a great company.
The compassionate and inclusive care, and attention to detail, from all engaged at Home Instead, were first class and carried through to the point of delivery. The lady engaged to look after my Mum was proactive, kind and caring. Her visits provided Mum with companionship and allowed her to get out and about each week. All very much appreciated.
I would readily recommend the Home Instead Senior Care (Bristol North) team to anyone who needs any manner of support to elderly relatives.
The staff at the Bristol North office were very helpful and willing to talk to me and my brother about our mother. They gave us information about her condition and organisations of support. A care package was put in place very promptly and the carers were excellent.
My carer has been a good companion with whom I've done a lot of trips. She is willing to help with anything.
Our experience whilst using Home Instead Senior Care (Bristol North) has been superb. The staff are very reliable. The staff are very reliable and are a pleasure to welcome into the home. The company is a good help in emergencies and have never let us down. We feel very safe in their care and recommend them highly.
We chose Home Instead Senior Care (Bristol North) as we liked their ethos of matching the caregiver to the client's needs, so that there is a common interest and that dad would never have a caregiver turn up that he hadn't met before.
We have been very impressed with the service and support that we get from the whole team. They are very approachable, nothing is too much trouble and all the ladies are cheerful and friendly and take time to listen and talk with dad. When I have needed to change hours, this has been done without any issue. Dad enjoys his visits and I have peace of mind that he is being looked after by a lovely team of caregivers.
Our care provider is very friendly and accommodating he listens to all I ask of him and is a very genuine person. Always looks professional and clean. Have only had this care provider for a short time but am very happy with him.
The manager and his team are engaging and want to do their best to help.
I have found the team responsive in answering my invoicing enquiries with what I understand is an increasing client case.
I was looking for someone to help with cleaning and decluttering my mum's house. The first carer was lovely but perhaps wasn't the best. We made a suggestion to keep another carer who came to cover for the original one and this switch was made immediately. I am really happy with the girl who comes now. She is upbeat, enthusiastic and hard working.
My husband's carer visits once a fortnight we first heard of Home Instead Senior Care (Bristol North) through a presentation made to a group we attend. We liked that they sought to match clients with carers with similar interests. My husband is interested in art and his carer has taken him to galleries and exhibitions to an artist's studio. She is friendly, creative and kind, my husband has found her visits stimulating. I am writing this because he has lost the ability to speak and write following a stroke.
Very reliable. Very friendly. Really nice group of ladies.
Mum always looks forward to her weekly outings and is developing a lovely relationship with her carer. Her carer is punctual, reliable and most of all, caring. She puts mum at ease and really focuses on her, taking time to listen and make her feel valued. Her carer has a good sense of humour, which mum appreciates and she thinks of places of personal interest to take mum every week. Mum particularly enjoyed her outing to Nailsworth, where she was evacuated as a child, exploring the area and, of course, having a cup of tea in a nice cafe.
I am very happy with my home care, I have had them since March 2016. The carer is always on time and does a good job of cleaning and taking me shopping. Having a carers helps to beat loneliness when living on your own.
I would recommend them to anyone.
So far I have been satisfied but I have only been with you a month.
