I became a client last October and all is going very well.
Always willing to do a little job that I cannot manage myself.
Many thanks for your lovely feedback! The team really enjoy supporting you, and we'll pass on your kind words to them.
The whole team at Home Instead, Brighton, Hove and Shoreham - CarePros and office staff - have been absolutely wonderful and 100 per cent supportive in the many years they have cared for mum. Never dropping a shift, reliable, punctual, professional. No hesitation in recommending them. Thank you!
It's been our pleasure! Thanks for your kind works recognising our amazing team
We have been using Home Instead for two years and they assist my father on a daily basis. All the staff are caring and supportive and really do make a difference. My father’s wellbeing and mental health is much improved with their reliability and support. Ten out of ten, they really do go the extra mile.
Many thanks for your kind words, which we'll ensure the team see. It's our pleasure to support your family.
Home Instead was really great. They were recommended to me by a friend and from the first phone call helped me to feel relaxed about what can be a very stressful situation. From the first visit to the carers who came, it was all great. Very happy with the service. Thanks.
The caregivers who have visited her (twice a week for some time now) have combined a professional and effective approach with genuine warmth and compassion. We have been especially impressed by the ways in which a number of staff members have cultivated an appropriate - and much appreciated - friendship with my mother.
Although we visit my mother as often as we can, Home Instead provide another caring presence in my mother's home. They also maintain a watchful, yet unobtrusive, oversight of her welfare, flagging up issues which we might not have spotted.
Furthermore, in the background, the management and administrative personnel have always been readily available to us. Their suggestions and advice have always been given with intelligence and professional courtesy.
We have no hesitation in commending Home Instead to anyone in our situation.
Many thanks for your kind words - it makes all the efforts of our whole amazing team worthwhile!
The director and her team were instrumental in this.
It was Dad's wish that he would not go into a home and despite his failing health, he retained his marbles until the end.
The director and team were kind, patient, and incredibly flexible and responsive, upping and slowing care as needed, and putting up with his sharp tongue and medical complexities.
There are no words that can truly express how grateful we are for this amazing service but it is testament that even while we are grieving we wanted to publicly thank the director and her team.
My mum used Home instead for the past couple of years before going into a care home. I cannot rate the staff and carers highly enough. They allowed my mum to stay at home for longer than we thought was possible. Not only are the carers extremely good at their job, they are kind and caring, and I personally now consider Mum's carers as friends. They even took the time and trouble to visit Mum when in hospital.
We turned to Home Instead after looking at other agencies who just weren’t able to give the quality and consistency of care we were after. The manager knows from personal experience what is needed, and we were reassured after meeting with her that she totally understood the need for her carers to build strong relationships with the people they are looking after and have time to do the job properly. We haven’t been the easiest of clients. My parents both have dementia and were initially extremely resistant to the idea of accepting help and in complete denial about the fact they could no longer manage by themselves. With a lot of help from the manager and her fantastic team, we got there in the end. One carer, in particular, was able to make leaps we just never thought possible in a matter of months, gradually building up trust and friendship. Dealing with dementia is incredibly difficult and stressful for all family members. There have been some really tough times, but I can honestly say that having the support we have done from Home Instead has made all the difference.
After a long hard battle of about a year where my mum experienced several, quite frankly disgraceful care at home package’s from other care companies, we the family, finally found Home Instead and from there onwards, for the last 2 years, it has been nothing but plain sailing! I cannot fault them in any way! Starting right from the introduction ‘week’, where the management team came out personally on a daily basis and not only configured mum's perfect care package, they also made sure they made the perfect match on which carers would suit mum the best (personality wise). All I can say is it worked! All the carers allocated to my mums care package went above and beyond. Even though mum's circumstances have changed now and she is no longer with Home Instead, she sees her ‘carers’ as extended family members and intends to keep in contact.
Absolutely outstanding care company. We can’t thank them enough for the wonderful care that my mum is receiving from them all. The manager always checks to see if everything is going well, replies promptly to any emails we send and is always easy to get hold of if needed. If a different caregiver is calling into my mum's home we are always informed in advance or if a caregiver will be slightly late (which rarely happens) we are always informed in advance of any changes. All the caregivers care for my mum very well, they take their time are never rushed and also respect her home. The caregivers are the same ones on a regular basis so my mum knows who’s coming so this provides my mum with continuity which she really needs. We have experienced other care companies and this one outweighs the rest.
My mother's dementia meant that she was often anxious, and despite having live-in care from another provider, she really benefitted from the companionship provided by the small team of caregivers from Home Instead who provided break cover each afternoon. They were innovative in the activities they tried, and would give my mum real focus of attention and conversation, adapted to her mood on the day - really helpful in adding to her quality of life. They may not be the cheapest but you definitely get value and the quality of help that you pay for
Home instead is an excellent company. All the carers are kind, caring and fantastic at their job. There is never a problem, and nothing is too much trouble. The kindness and compassion my mum receives is outstanding. I feel very relaxed knowing my mum is being cared for so exceptionally. I wld highly recommend Home Instead, and I have a couple of times. And both times the people have come back to me to say how happy they are. I wld not go to any other care provider, as I think they are first class. No one could be any better.
I am constantly impressed by the loving and personal care provided to my mother by a small team of carers who visit her and who have come to know and appreciate her unique qualities and requirements.
My Mum was not keen to have home care support and yet she now talks about her carers as friends.
As someone with responsible for my mum I find that I am always confident that she will have been cared and provided for during a visit and that she will also have been listened to and respected.
Who could ask for more?
I am recovering from a very severe illness and if it hadn't been for the care and attention from Home Instead I would have had to go into a home. So I am more than grateful to have b been introduced to this company and I cannot speak more highly of them 100%.
Home Instead is very reliable and helpful. All of their staff are friendly and kind.
Shopping excellent. Help to shower excellent.
Many thanks for your great review and kind words. We appreciate your recommendation.
I have found the care given to my elderly cousin excellent. My cousin is having care seven days a week and all the carers are extremely helpful, very willing to do whatever is needed, they use initiative and go above and beyond what I expected. I am kept informed of any problems or difficulties and everyone I have dealt with, from carers to office staff, most polite and very helpful. The staff are always very prompt to return phone calls and answer any questions.
One of the things I have also found very helpful is that over the seven days the number of carers is kept to a minimum number so my cousin knows them all well and knows in advance who will be coming each day. If there is to be a new carer for any reason they are brought along and introduced by someone who is known to my cousin. I certainly am very happy with all that Home Instead are providing for my cousin and she is so much better and happier since they have been coming. She looks on them as friends.
I would thoroughly recommend this service.
My sister and I were looking for care for our Father, thank goodness we found Home Instead Brighton, Hove and Shoreham. From the very first meeting to discuss the type of care we required and conversations on the phone, we have always found them to be reliable, caring and compassionate at all times. Throughout the COVID 19 pandemic, the ladies caring for Father have been amazing, always there to look after Father’s needs and chat when we as a family were not allowed to visit and we can’t thank them enough.

When not working, Liz enjoys time with her family at home, and her two rescue dogs, and is never happier than when walking together in the countryside and the hills.
