At short notice, we had to arrange temporary extra care (morning and evening) for an elderly aunt who lived in a residential home and not a care home. We live 100 miles from Eastbourne but nevertheless, from an initial phone call, assessment meeting, and subsequent paperwork all was in place within a week. All were completed efficiently and professionally.
Although the number of carers involved was not ideal we were just so grateful that it had been possible to provide what was needed at such short notice.
Subsequently, we found the ability to access (remotely) daily visit reports by the carers really useful to give us an idea of how things were going.
As it happened, we met two of the carers and were impressed by their caring, friendly attitude and their professional approach.
Our relationship with Right at Home lasted only a few weeks as we have now moved my aunt to a care home much closer to where we live. Communication throughout was excellent and I can't recommend Right at Home Eastbourne highly enough.
I have learning disabilities and my carers are very good with me in helping me. They are very nice and I am always looking forward to when they come.
Having experienced similar services in London for other friends its is very clear that Right at Home Eastbourne are in a league of their own. Always helpful and kind.
Happy with the staff. The service provided is good, carers are friendly and caring. On the whole, I am satisfied.
Very impressed that all carers are introduced to clients before attending calls.
Carers are always smart and well presented, also very friendly.
Office staff easy to talk to and always happy to deal with queries.
All staff very well trained and customer-focused.
The backroom staff (management and admin) are also very helpful and listen to my parents needs, and they adapt to their needs wherever possible.
We would thoroughly recommend their services.
Also thank you to the management who are approachable, pleasant, and keep me well informed.
Right at Home did housework for my mum and she got on well with the carer who came to visit. I heard lot's of laughs and it was good to see mum happy. Will definitely call them in the future if anything changes, but fingers crossed won't need them again.
All excellent - staff are competent, hardworking and well dressed. My wife likes talking to the carers.
Right at Home have provided excellent care for my husband. All the carers were hard-working, responsible and made us both feel well looked after. They coped with all the problems that the job throws at them with great professionalism and, most of all, with a sense of humour. Not easy in all the months that there was a pandemic! It has been a pleasure to know them and my husband and I shall miss their cheerfulness. Thank you to all the carers and office staff.
I have been very impressed with the care and thoughtfulness of all concerned with my aunt's care, whatever query or worry I have had it has been dealt with in a caring way. Having never dealt with the care system before, it could have been daunting but everyone was extremely helpful which in turn helped me with difficult decisions. I would have no qualms in recommending Right At Home. It's just tragic my aunt's health has deteriorated to the extent she now has to be looked after in a care home.
Fantastic provider with skilled staff at all levels. Caring, compassionate and dedicated. Gave my friend the care he needed at that stage of his life. His circumstances changed and therefore I had to look at other options. I would recommend Right at Home for your families/friends care needs as some of their staff are exceptional.
I always found this company extremely caring and very helpful at all times. I trusted them to care for my husband when I wasn't able to be around, which helped me extremely well.
They were so kind and helpful and supportive to all of us and nothing was ever too much trouble.
I can never thank them enough for their help and wish them every success in the future.
Thank you all so much. Without your care, kindness and support my mother would not have come home. You are all wonderful.
Myself and my family are very happy with the care that is provided for my grandmother. They deal with any concerns or problems very professionally and always answer any questions we have.
Carer very friendly and carries out her duties in an efficient manner. She is always on time, polite and well dressed.
We could not have asked for a more caring, compassionate and kind team to look after my mother-in-law as she faced her journey with Motor Neurone Disease over the last eighteen months. Respect was shown at all times to my mother-in-law and all the family. Positive and meaningful relationships were developed and nurtured over this time. My mother-in-law was determined to stay in her own home as long as possible; the Right at Home team enabled this by anticipating her changing needs and providing the emotional and physical support she required in order to do this. Many of the team became her friends, a testament both to my mother-in-law and the carers. We will always be grateful for the care and tremendous support she received. Thank you.
Right at Home made an instant improvement to the wellbeing of my brother, they have always listened to requests and so far have met all our requirements for a happier and better life. The team are very friendly and professional, my brother's needs are met in the way he chose. Communication is second to none. Very happy.
Other than this I am very happy with the cleanliness and tidiness of my flat which my carers help to clean. I do find that some of my carers like to chat and gossip with each other and I don't like gossip.
