Overall Experience

Bluebird Care has been visiting Mum for the past month. The staff have been really great and have established a positive relationship with her. This is amazing especially as Mum was adamant that she didn't want carers at all. I am going away for a couple of months and feel confident that I am leaving Mum in great hands.

Overall Experience

Bluebird cares have always been very good. They are helpful and pleasant and get on well with the client. I have not had any issues with punctuality and they sometimes stay a little beyond the leaving time. I have no concerns when I leave the client in their care.

Overall Experience

I found the carers to be very kind, helpful and friendly. They treated me with respect and at no point did I feel patronised. They came at the agreed time and stayed to the morning, without fail. The organisation was very efficient and reassuring. I have recommended them to friends in case they need help.

Overall Experience
From the first contact with Bluebird Care to present date, we have been supported and our relative has been treated kindly and respectfully and so have we too.
It is good to know that should our relative need more help, Bluebird Care can be more involved but meanwhile, the first steps are going well.

We are so grateful and relieved to have found Bluebird Care and so is our relative, the service user.

Overall Experience

Bluebird Care has supported by mother in living almost independently at home. The carers have been sensitive and flexible, according to Mum's wishes and responding to her needs. We have felt listened to and understood as a family. and everyone we have dealt with has been wise, experienced and good-humoured. Mum's transition at age 96, from total independence to accepting some assistance, could not have been managed better. Her carers were well matched and she developed trusting relationships.

Overall Experience

We have been using Bluebird Care for more than three years to support our 100-year-old father in his home. Throughout this time, the care has been fantastic - Dad's needs are always met and care has been adjusted, as necessary, over this time. His carers treat him with dignity and the continuity of care has meant they have developed good relationships with Dad. Dad was independent and we have peace of mind. We cannot praise them enough. Office staff are also very kind and helpful and I am confident they will deal with any concern.

Bluebird Care has been helping with Mum's care for a number of years now.

The quality and level of care and professionalism is very high but even more importantly is that the carers and office staff are always very friendly and easy to communicate with.

I have had carers for my husband and who has dementia for about three years. The service has been outstanding, reliable, compassionate carers, administration is supportive and I feel safe with Bluebird Care.

I found the supervisors/organisers of the service my uncle received very good.

I was informed quickly of any issues/concerns with my uncle (who is very frail and has dementia). Staff were kind and caring.

We use Bluebell Care for the befriending support to support Mum. The service has been excellent. The carer was very professional and sympathetic to what we needed. Her personable and sensitive manner put Mum at ease and the match to the carer was excellent. We would highly recommend!

Happy with the care provided previously. We are now having to increase the care package and hope this continues to be as good.

Kate Job Title: Registered Care Manager Joined: 2010
Kate

Kate joined Bluebird Care in 2010. Her customer service skills and “can-do” attitude were quickly noticed, and it was not long before she was promoted to Care Supervisor.

After nearly 3 years, Kate left to take a position as Senior Carer at a luxury care home in Bexley, South East London, where she managed a team of carers and gained further valuable insight into the care of vulnerable adults with complex care needs, as well as the management of people.

We’re delighted to have Kate back in the Bluebird Care family, in a new venture where her experience and attitude will be of real benefit.

After many years working for Bluebird Care, Kate has now taken on the exciting new role of Registered Manager.

With her knowledge, experience, and a great team behind her, she looks forward to the new challenges ahead.

Kate says, 'I have always loved and enjoyed my work in health care, so becoming a Registered Manager is the next natural step for me. It is so lovely to be able to do a job I love and make a difference in people's lives.'
