Greenwood Homecare (Peterborough and all surrounding villages)

Finding a Care provider to put your trust in to support a family member is not an easy task. We reached out to Greenwood Homecare in Peterborough earlier this year and have been delighted with decision from the moment Jodie visited for the initial assessment. The professionalism and attention to detail shone through immediately, making the choice an easy one.

My Aunt has enjoyed getting to know the team of carers looking after her. The whole team really does go out of its way to support my Aunt and are sensitive to her needs, often going above and beyond in the way that they help her and keep close family updated, liaising with external agencies where needed and even supporting with calls through to the doctors surgery to check on prescriptions.

The Birdie app is also a fantastic way of keeping family up to date on the care provided, noting any concerns and how my Aunt is generally. We are so pleased that we chose Greenwood HomeCare and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Jodie and her team at Greenwood Care have been supportive, responsive and flexible with my young, brain injured client. They have provided gentle encouragement and assistance when the client needed it. After extensive searching via other 'specialist' brain injury care and support providers, they have been the agency that stepped up, delivered, and who continue to deliver a service my client and I are happy with.

I have been delighted with the service that we have received from Home Care. We recently switched from another live in home care provider and the difference in the service we receive is night and day. Our main contact Jodie has been very professional, accessible and attentive, with a very detailed care plan and ongoing interactions to ensure that things are running smoothly. The two carers we have used thus far have been excellent and my mother is very happy with the attentive support that she received. The service has been so good that when my mother in law had to go into hospital for a hip replacement I recommended HomeCare for her post op home support. I would highly recommend Home Care.

My mother in law is in the best hands with Greenwoods. All staff are kind when caring for my mother in law. They are prompt, courteous and report each visit via an app. This keeps us informed as to the ongoing care if Ann but also allows us to follow up on concerns such as medical needs.

My husband and I have nothing but praise for Greenwoods. Without them my mother in law would have faced a longer hospital stay, and possible closer move to a care home facility. Greenwoods has allowed her to stay in her own home to recover from a hip fracture earlier this year and rebuild her independence. All the while knowing regular, kind and professional Greenwoods staff are calling and supporting in every possible way.

Greenwood care has exceeded my expectations of a care package. The carers have engaged with my mum making the experience something to look forward to rather than something to be tolerated. They have respected the property and always leave the home clean and tidy. Likes and dislikes have been accommodated with professionalism and a friendly manner. The attention to detail ensured a smooth transition from hospital to home. As mum has improved in health the carers have allowed her to become more independent and to take more responsibility for her own needs that have enabled her to regain her self respect and dignity. Flexibility from the management team has enabled me to tweak the care needs and timings as required by the situation.

Really happy with the service and care that the carers are doing for my father in law. Most of all my father in law is happy as well. Your care for him has given me a lifeline, it's giving me time to do the things I need to do myself, I am forever grateful for the help and support.

The care received by a particular staff member was fantastic, her company looked after my husband for 7 months. The hospital gave him weeks due to immunotherapy problems. This staff member and the physio worked to get him well, he is now almost back to his old self. However, at some point in the future, the cancer will come back and I would not hesitate to ask them again for 24-hour care. Many thanks to you all.

After a bumpy start with carers, we came across Greenwoods, who cared for my mother for the last three years of her life and I can confidently say that my mother saw them as good friends and people she could trust. She felt happy and safe with the carers, which was an enormous relief to myself, brothers and sister, along with the fact that we were kept updated on any ongoing concerns, medical or not. I found them to be totally honest, trustworthy and very approachable. Due to my mother's illness, there was the odd occasion where we unexpectedly needed help quickly and suffice to say Greenwood's shone through. I genuinely cannot speak highly enough of this company and would not hesitate to recommend Greenwoods to absolutely anybody in need of care.

Greenwood have been looking after my elderly father since 2018 and the service they provide is above and beyond. My father has dementia and they visit him 3 times a week and always go above and beyond their services to make my father comfortable and secure. Would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to have a member of family cared for within the Peterborough area.

Dad and I were impressed with the Greenwood team right from the initial consultation, they made him feel very comfortable about daily care and how everything would work. Once care started they very quickly established a routine and helped Dad feel at ease with it. They assigned a regular team so Dad got to know his carers and who was coming on what day. The team were professional, kind and approachable. The management team supported us whenever there was an emergency or unexpected matter to deal with.
