A lovely surprise from one carer on Mother’s Day who brought in a bunch of tulips and small gifts. So very kind.

Some areas of house management have needed more training which is being addressed.

Greenwood Homecare has been providing full-time live-in care to my mother who is physically disabled (permanent wheelchair user) and has early dementia since November 2021. I have been very pleased with the level of care provided by the carers who work on an alternating fortnightly basis. They have been genuinely caring and looked after Mum's needs well. Mum has adapted to having new people living in the house surprisingly well and this is a reflection of the friendliness and experience of Greenwood's carers. The carers have been well supported by the management who have generally been great to deal with. We are 'repeat customers' of Greenwoods who had previously provided great care support for my grandmother and having looked at a few options we have been very happy to return to Greenwoods for Mum's care.

My experience has been excellent. My care has been excellent. The carers are very good. They are the best I have ever had.

Very reliable staff and backup when required. Mum feels confident that she has a visitor every other day and probably now requires a bit more support with care and household duties which we will discuss with the team.

I was very happy with the live-in care that my relative received over a six month period. When the time came for her to move into residential care, the handover process from Greenwood Homecare (Peterborough) was very thorough and professional, which was very helpful during the transition. The carers and management were always professional, helpful and worked tirelessly on behalf of my relative.

My wife has been with Greenwood Homecare for nearly three years. We have always been happy with the carers visits and the level of care towards her. Some carers go above and beyond their duties, they know who they are random carers do the job and will get better the more they visit. Management very good but could improve on the above night visits on what time they are coming, I need to know a certain time and be kept to it.

Greenwood have been with us every step of the way, since my mum's last release from hospital. This was 15 months ago and without them, I genuinely don't think she would be with us today. Mum has extremely complex needs and has always been a proud lady who knows what she wants. This brings its own challenges. Her wish is always to remain at home. Over our time with Greenwood, they have been extremely flexible, responsive to her and the families needs and increased the care or changed the team when required. They are prepared to listen, provide a really personalised approach and have often gone well above what would be expected, including sitting with the family when mum very poorly. We had the experience of other care providers and did our research prior to using Greenwood. In my opinion, they are in a different league. Greenwood, who provides 24/7 care to mum are ensuring she is getting the best, to make her life as comfortable and happy as possible. Thank you Greenwood.

Excellent service, caring and knowledgeable. The management have been extremely supportive and the carers offer a high level of care. I feel secure in the knowledge that my brother is being looked after well.

Greenwood Homecare services were recommended to me by the City Council when my mother was diagnosed with Dementia. I cannot fault their staff and services at all, without them my mother would have been left to her own care and company until I had finished work every day. Flexible, honest and trustworthy.

In 2017, we first used Greenwood Homecare for 3 months when my 92 year old mother broke her wrist in a fall and needed care at home. At that time, we interviewed 4 other Peterborough based homecare companies and the ethos, culture and professionalism of Greenwood's shone out. In 2020, my mother (now 95) suffered 2 falls and following 6 weeks of hospitalisation and convalescence in a care home, we didn't hesitate to call upon Greenwood's to again provide home care, which is now an ongoing arrangement. They commit to allocating a core team of carers who establish a close friendship with those they are caring for and especially during the isolations of Covid this bond has proven critical to my mother's well-being and to our family's assurance she is safe and well. Greenwood is very flexible with its service delivery and regularly review my mother's needs. It is a massive relief and assurance knowing my mother is in the safe hands of Greenwood. Greenwood had been recommended to me so when I was looking for care for my mother they were the first people to contact. They did not disappoint. Lovely, caring people from the Manager's initial visit to all carers. My mother is very happy with the service they provide and so are we. 5 Stars!

The care and support the Greenwood Team shown to my Mother-in-Law has been fantastic. They have on many occasions gone above and beyond in order to ensure she has received the best, safest care possible and supported us as a family during the difficult lockdown period. We cannot thank them enough!
