They provide a range of personalised home care services, from daily visitation personal care, to full-time live in care. I would like to publicly thank Greenwood’s for the exceptional care they have provided my mum for almost 3yrs.
The carers we have welcomed into our home exceeded our expectations from the get-go, they always go the extra mile. Having experienced other care providers within the community Greenwood’s

Our experience with Greenwood Homecare from the start of April 2023 until my grandfather's passing in January 2024 has been excellent and the level of care has been second to none.
All the carers have been very professional, friendly and nothing is too much trouble, so much so they become like part
of the family and will be missed.
If there was any change to my grandad's health they were straight on it and on more than one occasion the doctors have said how impressed they were with how quickly symptoms were reported saving pain and discomfort and getting treatment quickly. The staff in the office were superb and very supportive with everything and if we needed help they were always there and went above and beyond with the service and personal touch they provided and for that, I will always be grateful because it took the pressure off myself and really helped me and it didn’t stop with his passing, the support has continued. I can’t recommend Greenwood highly enough, excellent and very caring.

Greenwood Homecare provide companionship support for my mother who resides in extra care housing. Despite having a care provider on site, she felt lonely and isolated and, although she is 97 this year, her mind is still very active even if her body isn't! She has thrived having her carer coming in every
other week, a consistent and female carer which is very important to her. She has been able to access the community, do some shopping, go for a coffee and have a good chat. She thoroughly enjoys her visits and has improved her mood and spirits to no end! I would definitely recommend Greenwood Homecare. This is the second time we've had care and support from them, as she had a traditional care package when she lived in her previous home.

Greenwood have been caring for my mum since June 2023. They have been fantastic in supporting her independence so she can live safely at home. They continue to help me and support the growing care needs of my mum without question and act to adjust care plans as quickly as possible. Any problems, they
have advised and assisted with the solution. The carers' kindnesses and companionship has helped my mum get through the loss of her husband and facilitate her independent living. With the help of the daily care notes for each visit, they help alleviate concerns about her welfare and safety.

Approached Greenwood Homecare for morning visits for mummy who is 100 years old whilst I was away on holiday for a couple of weeks. They couldn’t have been more helpful in creating a plan that suited my requirements. The carers were prompt, kind and looked out for her needs and chatting to her, though
she is hard of hearing and making her comfortable. It was also so reassuring to receive daily reports of daily visits that put my mind to rest whilst I was away. I would highly recommend Greenwood Healthcare and will certainly be using their services again.

Greenwood Home Care are providing an unusual service for my dad which I was so lucky to find. He is in residential care but needs full-time support including transport to see my mum who’s in a different care home close by. A chance phone call resulted in an enthusiastic response from the team who visited
my dad and had arrangements in place for him within a week of my phone call! He is picked up by their carers and supervised while visiting then taken back. Without this service it would mean he could not see his wife, we are indebted to them not just for the practicality of what they do but for taking away the stress from us and knowing that he is safe from falls with the support they’ve put in place.

Mum has been with Greenwood Homecare now for just over a year and from being very very poorly this time last year she has come on in leaps and bounds. This is a lot down to her excellent care and kindness of care staff and the support staff in the background. I can't thank them enough. We have just
had live-in so I get a break and it has been absolutely brilliant. Mums had a great time. Thank you doesn't seem enough but it's heartfelt from us all.

I was discharged from the hospital, needing only bed rest and daily stoma bags being changed. I live in a house with my husband and my son, who has special needs. I am seventy-nine and so 'not young'. It was my very good fortune that Greenwood came immediately to my rescue... I was seen at home, assessed
and had home care teams assigned. Hours were based on my requirements and flexible, the carers all were very capable and helpful. They were wonderful at doing all sorts of things to help me; driving the car, shopping, cooking dinner, ironing, cleaning, helping my son and being such a friend to him, he loved them all! They could not have been kinder or more helpful and I consider myself extremely fortunate to have had them, all organised by the head office team, equally kind and so, so helpful and patient with me and my requests. I could not recommend them all more highly and will always call upon them again and again, as I need to.

My mum received care from Greenwood Homecare for almost a year.
My mum was living independently until she had a fall. Mum is 92 and needed a care package to be put in place to help her to continue to live in her own home and be as independent as her health would allow.
Greenwood Homecare's staff
have been so professional, compassionate, understanding and supportive of my mum. We have found Greenwood Care to be reliable, trustworthy and understanding providing care to a very high standard.
Their care staff and support teams are so lovely and kind and go out of their way to offer a full care package.
Greenwood conducts regular care reviews to provide specific care for each person. Mum has been treated with dignity and compassion.
We highly recommend Greenwood Homecare as a care provider for your loved ones. They have supported Mum throughout and we can't thank them enough.
We really value and appreciate your kindness towards Mum.

I would like to say that my father is fairly capable of looking after most of his needs. Greenwood Homecare are giving me peace of mind by their daily visits, keeping an eye on his welfare and any other jobs that may need to be done Eg. Making sure he has a hot cooked meal daily, making the bed, putting
the bins out and any other household jobs that may need attention.
Although they are only there for 1 hour daily this gives him extra company and somebody different to talk to.

My grandmother has been cared for by Greenwood Homecare since December. Greenwoods have been extremely supportive and are always happy to adapt care plans to cater to her specific needs, which are constantly changing due to the nature of dementia. Having full-time dementia care has allowed the family
to enjoy time with Nan again as family members and not carers. We are truly grateful to Greenwoods for their amazing care and compassion. The staff are knowledgeable and patient and really take the time to get to know their clients and their families. The support of the management at Greenwoods has allowed Nan to be cared for in her own home and has supported a family who have been struggling to juggle the needs of their loved one and the effects of dementia.

Extremely reliable, always very nice, always well-mannered, time-keeping is very good, have gone the extra mile to be available when I have come out of hospital (several times). Very happy with the job they do, always have a chat with both myself and my son.

I had a meeting this Monday with Mum's new care assessor. We are working well with the team, we've just transferred from a different branch where she had settled. Mum is 97 years old and finds it difficult, she is not remembering their names as yet. The care assessor was really good and we've decided
to add a 45 minute in the morning to help her wash etc and have more company if time permits, time will tell going forward.

Jodie

Jodie Chatters

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2018

As Registered Manager for Greenwood Homecare Peterborough, Jodie oversees the day-to-day running of the branch, leads and supports staff in the team and manages business development.


Jodie also supports payroll and conducts audits to make sure the branch is compliant with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). When not in the office, she can be found out and about performing care assessments in Peterborough, writing care packages based on home assessments and prepping the team to support new clients.


Jodie has a keen interest in training and is a Level 3 qualified trainer and assessor. She runs weekly workshops for carers on various aspects of their role, from communication to end-of-life care. She also invites experts in to speak to staff and answer their questions.


Jodie’s career in care began with supporting people with learning disabilities and has seen her take on roles in residential homes and private care. When her personal life took her to Peterborough, Jodie joined Greenwood as a care supervisor and worked her way up to Registered Manager.


When not at work, Jodie is busy taking care of her kids and her little dog Shirley. In her downtime, she enjoys pottering in her garden or garage and can be found upcycling wooden furniture.
