Home Instead (Chichester & Bognor Regis)

The level of care and support that the staff from Home Instead provided to my wife was outstanding. They really worked hard to understand her Alzheimer's and adjusted the activities they undertook with her to make her relaxed and comfortable whilst I was away. I can thoroughly recommend their services to anybody wishing to have some home support.

I have been happy with Home Instead from the initial 'phone call enquiring about help upto the time my husband was moved into a Care Home. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. They showed my husband compassion and I know he felt comfortable and safe in their care. A big thank you to you all.

The care assistance have been absolutely brilliant for my friend and I can not thank them enough. They were diligent, thoughtful and extremely professional.

It has given me comfort to know that my friend was being looked after every evening.

My mother has received excellent service from Home Instead (Chichester and Bognor Regis) over the past year or so. The carers were reliable and were always able to help mum with various tasks around the home and provide transport for hospital appointments and accompany her as well. Mum established a good rapport with the carers who were assigned to her. Thank you from both of us.

Home Instead provided excellent care which meant that my father was able to live at home for the final months of his life. The team of carers who supported him were wonderful. Their companionship and care ensured that he was as independent as his condition allowed, and could be in control of some decisions even when he wasn't able to do everything he wanted to. They built great relationships with him and with supporting family members. The wider team were helpful and responsive, putting care in place so that he could be discharged from hospital as soon as possible and flexing to meet changing requirements. Overall it felt that Home Instead and our family worked together as a team to support my father and give him the best quality of life that we could.

Useful to have two regular helpers otherwise I spend the time showing where things are.

I have been with your firm as a result of a stroke. As my family live some distance away and I live alone, they decided I needed help and care. In October 2022 I had to have a replacement knee and needed more help and support. I had help 3 times a day for six weeks which I now have 4 times a week. Knowing the carers so well helped immensely to recover. The carers I have had since are great and know how I like things done. If a carer has been delayed the office always let me know. All this gives me the confidence to live alone and not in a home. Well done carers and thank you for your kindness.

I have been a service user at Home Instead for nearly two years and I have been grateful for all the help I have received. The helpers are always kind, conscientious and considerate. However, I do find that sometimes they are put under considerable stress when trying to get to a client on time. 15 minutes between clients today, traffic is hot enough. It is important to arrive on time particularly when an appointment is concerned.

Very happy so far, always on time, cheerful and professional. No complaints.

Carers are helpful and when the jobs are finished it is good to have a chat with them. If carers don't know where to put some things away I would like them to ask rather than leave them on the worktop.

I'm a 92-year-old gentleman living on my own and use Home Instead (Chichester & Bognor Regis) four times a week to help me with my lunch. I am independent but having carers helps me stay this way! The carers are friendly and helpful and it is a pleasure to have them visit. They're excellent at using their initiative to find other things I may need help with. I plan my weekly timetable, such as changing and washing bedding, when receiving my supermarket food delivery around their visits so they can help me with these. I'm extremely satisfied with the service I received and so is my family! I have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to anyone looking for care.

Without the support of Home Instead, first with my father and then with my mother, my parents would have had great difficulty in staying in their own home until their passing. A friendly and efficient regular group of carers who took time to get to know my parents and worked so well with the family. We are very grateful for their support.

I would have appreciated advanced information on changes in staff/last-minute changes.

My experience has been all good. The ladies/carers are all caring, kind, friendly and professional. Once they have dealt with my personal care, they are happy to help out with all other matters requesting attention around the house, things such as washing up, feeding my dog etc. They clearly have read my notes and are aware of what makes me who I am.

I am very happy with all services. The nurses are very good with my husband and very helpful.

My mother is clearly fond of the carers supporting her, and they seem to be well match in terms of their experience and personalities.

I should never have worried.
