I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all and especially the carers for everything that you have all done throughout these last few difficult months. We couldn’t have coped without you and all the carers have been absolutely fantastic and coped admirably and sensitively with whatever they found when they arrived. Please do pass on our heartfelt thanks and tell them that they are doing a wonderful job and so much appreciated by us.

Everyone we dealt with at Home Instead was helpful and understanding of our needs, from the office staff to the carers we met on a daily basis. Their support enabled us to care for my mother at home rather than put her in a nursing home, which she greatly appreciated.

Please pass our thanks on to all the carers involved in looking after our family member. We hope they know what a good job they do. It was always so lovely to hear their voices as they arrived through the door in the morning, evening and latterly at lunchtime too and to know that they would look after her with such good cheer, professionalism and care was always such a relief. They were all truly amazing and we will always be very grateful for their care and support.

Thank you for the wonderful assistance that I receive from the lovely CAREGiver and indeed the owner. The CAREGiver is a wonderful companion/home help. She is happy to accompany me on any mad thing I ask her to do like walking on the beach in the rain. She is also a brilliant chef and so practical. Thank you also to the owner who is always so helpful and works far too hard.

Recommended by a trusted friend, I have found Home Instead and all the personnel connected with it, to be all I could have hoped for - and a lot more besides. A combination of practical skills and an abundance of common sense has meant that I have reclaimed a relationship with my mother which had been sadly missing for a couple of years. Home Instead stepped in just before lockdown, after my mother broke her arm and throughout this period she has blown "hot and cold" about how much help she needs until now she cannot get enough of them. Adaptable and pro-active, various caregivers have dealt with appointments, paperwork and telephone calls and this week, they provided the assistance to get my mother to hospital and back for laser treatment to her eye, with less than 24 hours notice. Anybody looking for kind and caring help for their relatives should proceed with confidence with the added bonus that the care, consideration and diplomacy will be extended to the wider family.

I cannot describe the relief it is to have such caring professionals looking after Dad.

Our family has been immensely impressed with the services provided by Home Instead and the team's ability to react so quickly when certain situations require. Your caregivers have enabled my mother to remain in her own home for longer than would otherwise have been the case, with her day-to-day life enhanced by the care and kindness shown by your staff.

I cannot speak highly enough of the support Home Instead have provided, the matching of carer to the client is considered, appropriate and professional. What a great company, with a great team.

Home Instead has also helped us to ensure my aunt receives financial support from the council, whilst retaining their services.

Myself and my wife recently attended a review at Chichester. It was a very useful meeting and we conveyed our gratitude for the level of care provided by Home Instead. We feel a great deal of effort is being made to ensure the comfort and well being of my parents. We are particularly pleased with the choice and suitability of main caregivers as they have formed a bond with Mum and Dad and they provide excellent care, stimulation and companionship. We have had nothing but friendly and efficient help from the Carers. We have recommended them to 2 other families who live nearby and they are equally happy with the service. One of the assets of the Service is the cheerful air and happy approach that is so helpful to those suffering from dementia. My wife looks forward to them coming.

Wonderful care for our mum. The carers went above and beyond to ensure she was happy, cared for at all times. The carers were always happy and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble in giving our mum the best care possible. Thank you for it all.

Home Instead Chichester are fantastic. The quality of their people and the care they provide to our mum is first class. It gives us huge confidence and she really looks forward to their visits. This was made even more important recently when mum had a fall. Home Instead have been brilliant in the support they have provided to help her get back to full health. I would hugely recommend them.

The care that was given to our mum was of the highest standard and special care was taken in partnering the carer to the client. Mum really took to her carer and felt really comfortable with them and the carer themselves were considerate, accommodating, friendly and most importantly caring. The whole team at Home Instead were professional, helpful and supportive in what turned out to be our mum’s final days. They were always on the end of the phone should they be needed and we shall be eternally grateful for support and care given to our mum during this time.

He sometimes finds my husband uncommunicative and manages sullenness with patience. He has not had a vast experience of old people with dementia but is willing to learn from difficult situations.
