I cannot thank you enough, along with both of my sisters, for the amazing care provided by Home Instead. A decision that is never easy to make, accompanied by reluctance from our mother to accept having caregivers to support her living at home. From the initial assessment to the visits three times a
week, the care is faultless. The initial assessment, provides the opportunity to share Mums life stories, her family, friends, any interests and hobbies and of course not neglecting any medical conditions. All these contributing factors, provide the sensitive information to match appropriate caregivers to support our mother.
She is overwhelmed by the company they provide, the outings they take her on and any help needed at home. Mums spirits have improved immensely and they have certainly done amazingly well to achieve this. She now looks forward to their visits!
Whilst cognitive decline is difficult to observe, I highly recommend Home Instead, to support this journey.

Six months ago we took the difficult decision to care for my elderly mother at home following a stroke. She had always lived a very independent life but now found herself unable to cope alone. In the beginning, Home Instead provided personal care three days a week but by June this had increased to two
visits daily. All of the carers provided a very high level of care and Mum felt completely at ease with them. They each had their own way of working and Mum looked forward to their visits.
Everyone we dealt with at Home Instead was helpful and understanding of our needs, from the office staff to the carers we met on a daily basis. Their support enabled us to care for my mother at home rather than put her in a nursing home, which she greatly appreciated.

Please pass our thanks on to all the carers involved in looking after our family member. We hope they know what a good job they do. It was always so lovely to hear their voices as they arrived through the door in the morning, evening and latterly at lunchtime too and to know that they would look after
her with such good cheer, professionalism and care was always such a relief. They were all truly amazing and we will always be very grateful for their care and support.

I want to express my appreciation for the fantastic service that two particular people have provided for my mother over the last few weeks over the Christmas and New Year period – and during a COVID pandemic.
It is a big step to move from independent living to receiving care, and then, to move again
into a nursing home as my mother has done in a very short time, and they have provided a simply wonderful service with genuine love and care for my mother. They certainly went over and above what one would normally expect from a care provider. It is such a shame that our association with Home Instead has been so short, but nevertheless, it was sweet!
Would you please pass on my sincere thanks to them and the rest of the team involved – Home Instead are certainly a credit to the founders and to your team.

Thank you for the wonderful assistance that I receive from the lovely CAREGiver and indeed the owner. The CAREGiver is a wonderful companion/home help. She is happy to accompany me on any mad thing I ask her to do like walking on the beach in the rain. She is also a brilliant chef and so practical.
Thank you also to the owner who is always so helpful and works far too hard.

Recommended by a trusted friend, I have found Home Instead and all the personnel connected with it, to be all I could have hoped for - and a lot more besides. A combination of practical skills and an abundance of common sense has meant that I have reclaimed a relationship with my mother which had been
sadly missing for a couple of years. Home Instead stepped in just before lockdown, after my mother broke her arm and throughout this period she has blown "hot and cold" about how much help she needs until now she cannot get enough of them. Adaptable and pro-active, various caregivers have dealt with appointments, paperwork and telephone calls and this week, they provided the assistance to get my mother to hospital and back for laser treatment to her eye, with less than 24 hours notice. Anybody looking for kind and caring help for their relatives should proceed with confidence with the added bonus that the care, consideration and diplomacy will be extended to the wider family.

Dad's dementia got a lot worse during the lockdown, and we realised he needed help at home. He can be very difficult and strongly dislike people coming into his home as he is fiercely independent and feels he does not need help. Fortunately, the lovely carers from Home Instead know exactly how to handle
his objections and efficiently and calmly come in every evening and clean and tidy up, feed his dog and make sure Dad takes his meds. They post a report every evening via an online app, which is great because it gives me peace of mind that all is well. Dementia care is very specialised, and the team that looks after Dad are very well trained and experienced. They can de-escalate a situation when Dad gets upset, and they always have a friendly chat with him knowing how to engage him by talking about his beloved dog and his late wife.
I cannot describe the relief it is to have such caring professionals looking after Dad.

I had the need for an evening carer for my irascible, stubborn mother. I required continuity of care from a proactive, firm but kind female. We were matched with a fantastic lady; she's kind and gentle, with a great sense of humour, and shows real understanding towards an eccentric old lady.

Having struggled to accept help from other care providers in the past, I can safely say my aunt is delighted with the help she receives daily from two Home Instead carers.
The carers are well matched to her personality and emotional needs, as well as being very capable of working with dementia. The

Myself and my wife recently attended a review at Chichester. It was a very useful meeting and we conveyed our gratitude for the level of care provided by Home Instead. We feel a great deal of effort is being made to ensure the comfort and well being of my parents. We are particularly pleased with the

The care that was given to our mum was of the highest standard and special care was taken in partnering the carer to the client. Mum really took to her carer and felt really comfortable with them and the carer themselves were considerate, accommodating, friendly and most importantly caring. The whole
team at Home Instead were professional, helpful and supportive in what turned out to be our mum’s final days. They were always on the end of the phone should they be needed and we shall be eternally grateful for support and care given to our mum during this time.

Our carer is prompt and courteous. He is happy to help in any way and does odd jobs around the house and garden.
He sometimes finds my husband uncommunicative and manages sullenness with patience. He has not had a vast experience of old people with dementia but is willing to learn from difficult situations.

We started using Home Instead Chichester for my parents' increasing needs in August 2018. M father suffers from Parkinson's Disease and my mother has Dementia. Both were struggling to cope and, after initial reluctance, were persuaded to accept assistance from Home Instead. As a family, we all have
nothing but praise for the attention and care that the company and all the carers have provided over the past few months. Both my parents looked forward to their visits and developed friendships with many of them. It was a relief to my brothers and myself to know that they were being looked after so well. We have now moved on to live-in care with the guidance and advice of Home Instead and their help with this has been invaluable. We would definitely recommend them as a company and will not hesitate to contact them again when we need their help with respite breaks for the live-in carer.
