Walfinch is providing excellent care and support. The service is very reliable and as care needs have changed we have had exemplary guidance and help through transitions to increasing levels of care. Most importantly, all the staff have been lovely and communication is very effective so we find it easy to keep in touch day to day.
I can't thank the amazing Walfinch Team enough for their kindness and support and helping us with extra care for my parents at what has been a very difficult time for our family. I have met the carers at my parents and the care that is given is incredible.
Very prompt visit from the Walfinch representative to speak to Mum about the care/help she was wanting. Mum felt very relaxed and able to tell Kam her needs. The paperwork was emailed the following day. This explained everything you would like to know about the company. Also everything that was needed from Mum and what was expected from her carer. The care started the Monday of the following week. Mum has had 2 lovely ladies visit her and she is very happy and accepting of them. I would certainly recommend this care company for anyone who is looking for help for their loved ones.
The service is diligent and caring, and responsive to requests for specific help to be provided. The staff are courteous and kind. The app is a good idea and enables the family to get an overview of what is going on, from a distance. It's not always easy, of course, to pick up the nuance of emotions or problems from those reports. We will ask for a a more detail discussion of the care plan and how the carers find my brother in the next month or so.
I would be very happy to recommend Walfinch.
2) I appreciate that clients have many needs. Mine is to shower and dress each morning. Late attendance at 10:00 am is awkward.
3) It is a problem when times of attendance change after the weekly rota is provided, without warning. Please advise time changes as necessary before the day of attendance.
4) Overall, totally satisfied and appreciative of the care provided.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are really pleased to hear that you feel well supported by our carers and that you are satisfied with the care provided overall.
We truly appreciate your kind words about our care team and the dignity and respect shown during your visits....
WalFinch carers visited my mother at home for several years, and were of great help and comfort to her. They coped well with routine work, with complex matters (e.g. mental health matters) and with emergencies. They were kind, competent, well-meaning and friendly. Support from the management and office was very good, and my mother especially enjoyed coming to the WalFinch Christmas party.
I can only find good words to describe the lovely cares of Walfinch. My wife has Alzheimer's and we need carers help three times each day. I cannot criticise any of the Walfinch carers. They are professional, efficient, and above all, extremely kind and caring to my wife, which in turn is a great comfort to me.
In the short time we have been clients of Walfinch, we have found both the staff at HQ in Wantage and the carers whom we have met to be straightforward in all matters, and to have a clear understanding of the needs of their patients, and friendly and diligent in their approach.
Nothing is a problem.
The level of care received is superlative.
The management team are always on hand to help and carry out regular audits of their own staff. This is essential in any organisation in order to maintain the very high standards that Wallfinch achieve.
Very, very impressed with Walfinch. The quality of the care, the communication, the attention to detail of what the client likes, the abilities and food options. All home cooked food and excellently created.
They went above and beyond in the care provided for my client, taking her out for trips, cups of tea out, hospital trips, eye appointments etc. Even emergency trips in the night. We had 24 hour carers who did a superb job in keeping my client in her own home which is what she wanted from the beginning.
I totally recommend them to anyone with a care need, whether part time, full time or 24 hour care. Lovely staff both in the office and out in the home.
We have dealt with Walfinch since November 2024 and it is a good care company to deal with. The office is efficient and the staff are friendly. The carers are very friendly, professional and on time.
I am very pleased with the care my mother in law has received from Walfinch. They are friendly, extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs both as a family and to the client. They have made changes to her care to ensure that her needs are best met and I would definitely recommend them.
And attend to her for the two hours they spend with her. It makes her talk to others beside her family members, which is good as she suffers with traumatic anxiety and depression.
This helps give me a break for those hours where I can go shopping or meet a friend for coffee,
Walfinch are excellent at sending me the program of the carers visits along with the time schedule.
Anything I wish to change they are so helpful and accommodating with my wishes.
They keep regular contact with follow up reviews by phone to check how things are working out for us..
I have no hesitation in recommending Walfinch as a very professionally run company that sets high standards in the caring world, which we all need today
Thank you and all your carers for a top class service.
The brief creation document was a bit clunky to work to.
It has been a relief to have Walfinch look out for our brother in the last 2/3 months.
The care team are very professional and completely understand the carers needs and provides dignity.
The care team always asks if I'm taking my correct medication eating sufficiently sleeping and always asks about my well-being.
Also the office staff are accommodating when special requests are made to fit in with arrangements.
The carer's are very professional, treat her with respect and always chatter with her and gets a smile out of her.
Very happy with all the carer's
Weather we are there or not we no she is being looked after
Mum broke her hip on the 27th of December. Walfinch responded really well to the change in care requirements on her discharge from hospital, adding extra overnight care at very short notice. Communications always considerate, caring but pragmatic and responsive to the rapidly changing needs.
Highly recommend Walfinch. Carers are kind and caring and totally professional caring for my husband. The office staff and management are polite, friendly and totally efficient. I feel we are in safe hands.
