I couldn't fault the thoughtful and kind care my mother received. The management were very supportive with any problems or concerns my mother or the family had. Would highly recommend Christies Care Oxfordshire.
Christies has been providing care for my mother for the past few months. The carers are all extremely confident, diligent and very caring. The support management and admin team provide an absolutely 1st class service, no call or matter is left unattended, and the response is almost immediate. They have also been very flexible to accommodate the varying date requirements for my mother, as I share the care with my sister on a two-weekly basis. This is an extremely professional company. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone requiring any type of care service package. Well staffed and always willing to go the extra mile to help.
Care with a capital C! Communication excellent, notifying us quickly, if there are any concerns. Even though my brother has only been receiving care for three weeks, he already looks forward to the visits, enjoying their company and regarding them as his friends. The carer's input has inevitably reduced our input towards his daily care, and this has been most welcome, for all parties.
Thank you. All the carers looking forward to the visit. Pleased to know that you are happy with the service.
My father and mother wished to stay in their home. My father is my mother's full-time carer. It became apparent after both contracted Coronavirus that they needed urgent assistance to remain comfortable together at home. The problem was acute. I turned to Christie's Care who engaged carers in under a week. I cannot fault any point of care-giving or effortless kindness given to my mum and dad by the team at Christie's Care. They understood completely the difficulty my father would have handing over the reins to others and managed this difficult process with aplomb. They are very flexible about my parents' changing needs and have strategies to manage these too. The difference to my father is extraordinary - the burden lifted from him, has made him blossom. My mother is delighted to have a carer that she likes enormously and can relate to and who cannot do enough for her. Excellent care and being 'in the loop' is also a massive relief to my brother and me. Thank you Christie's Care.
I first started with the company which changed to Christies Care Oxfordshire with essentially no difference. They have responded well to any of my requirements which change from time to time by taking me to hospital when required. The staff have responded well to my ever-changing needs and my various shopping requirements.
The staff have been great, and as we have them around so many hours every day to help, we have really appreciated the way they can blend in when not being fully engaged with caring. The manager has been a very caring and understanding leader for us to engage with and has always done her utmost to make sure we have exactly the right level of care. My Mum has been as impressed with them as I have, and one thing I don't worry about is who is looking after my Dad. I have complete trust in them because through more than a few very challenging events they have risen to meet whatever it was and keep us all calm and reassured.
Thank you. It is a pleasure caring for dad and a support system for mum. Thank you for the review.
Mum enjoys having the company and we are grateful that we know she is getting a hot meal, a good walk (weather permitting) personal hygiene looked after and household chores done.
Thanks to everyone at Christies Care.
From the very first phone call, I knew I was in good hands. The manager took time to talk me through how she could help offer some aftercare support to my mother and father after my father had a severe stroke in June this year. It was a huge relief to us all and Dad has enjoyed chatting with the carers and it has helped give me and my mum some time to re-energise herself during the weeks. It was a stressful time and the regular reliable service we received made everyone feel better. I would highly recommend Christie's Care to anyone looking to support family or loved ones. Top service and special mention to two particular members of staff. My dad has loved being taught Welsh. Thank you so much.
I have been using Christies Care for the past 6 months for my elderly parents. They were very reluctant to have care and the carers have approached them with sensitivity and a gradual approach. They are always very professional, kind and reliable. They always respond promptly to my communication and have been extremely helpful navigating the system to get more support for my Mother.
The care provided by Christies Care has been outstanding. My father suffers from advanced Vascular Dementia and has been a long-term client with Christies Care (formerly Eaton Care). The companionship care provided ensures I am able to attend work throughout the week and the communication between the Carers and Management is excellent (should my Father have any difficulties whilst I’m at work). The 'attention to detail' provided ensures my Father remains engaged, active and is heart-warming, professional and gives my Dad dignity. Recently my Father, placed under a 12-week shield isolation as a precaution and despite the Carers use of all precautions and PPE it was me that had to remain at home as well, so paused the care. Whilst this makes future staff planning difficult for Christies Care they remained understanding and the excellent and professional care will continue once isolation pause completed. Highly recommended.
If she had not been there, then I don't know what would have happened, but it would have been completely awful. She took it in her stride and got on with sorting things out.
In addition, the manager and her staff at Christies have been incredible. On several occasions, I've come to her with problems I thought would be insurmountable, and she's just got on and made them go away, often at very short notice.
I have been very impressed by the attitude and personal approach they take towards their clients - they are the type of company you would want to work with for your own parents.
Being a strong, fit man, he was easily and repeatedly able to cope with my husband's weight whilst delicately turning him in bed. He also showed excellent sensitivity in tasks such as shaving and intimate personal care.
All was done with loving attention to detail.
My friend received attentive, kind, sociable and compassionate end of life care delivered with skill and great respect for her dignity and her level of infirmity. The team of carers worked with district nursing staff, a live-in carer, GP and friends monitoring and communicating on any physical changes and adapting to changing needs. The team manager was very attentive and supportive, using the benefit of her experience wherever she could, to help the care run smoothly and seamlessly.
I have been very pleased with the care provided for my father who suffers from early dementia.
I needed to get care arranged quickly after he was discharged from hospital and Eaton Care Services couldn't have been more helpful in arranging a care plan at short notice. My father is now happy and well looked after.
The staff and caregivers are extremely helpful and professional. They provide quality and dignified service.
We are very happy with the service provided by Eaton Care. Over the last year, they have provided a reliable and caring service, with flexibility as my husband's needs have changed. We have had overnight care, daytime care and a period of live in care. The team is well managed and well chosen, friendly, professional and understanding of the stress 'the wife' experiences too, as well as understanding the person with PD and dementia. I would recommend their services.
After moving home we were very apprehensive about starting over with a new care agency. We need not have worried, immediately after meeting the manager and the carers we were put at ease. The carers are friendly and adaptable to whatever situation arises each day, nothing seems to phase them. They take a personal interest in what my husband likes so that they can chat about it with him. They also take the time to ask how I am, making me feel supported too. If time allows during a call the carers will always ask if there is anything else they can do to assist us. Although we have only been with the agency a short time I already feel comfortable leaving my husband with the carers, as I know he is happy and safe with them, allowing me a much-needed break.
I am so thankful for the care and support we receive from the manager and the team. My mum has vascular dementia and can be difficult at times. I am unable to provide the care she needs and without the home care team I would be under a lot more stress and worry with mum. They do a fantastic job.
He has been receiving three care visits weekly to assist with shopping, planning and cooking meals. He is finding these visits very beneficial and looks forward to the carers support who he finds friendly and approachable. He has built up a good rapport with them.
I have also found the carers input a great help as it gives me some relief to have their support.
