This is my third session with them and they are as dependable and reliable as they were on the first session when they cared for my dying husband.
It's lovely to have such continuity of staff. The same ladies caring for me means a lot. we are "comfortable" with each other and totally trusting.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Ultima Care & Nursing to anyone. They are my five star carers.
Your feedback means a great deal to us. Were especially pleased to hear how much you value the continuity of care and the trust and comfort that has been built that is something we work very hard to achieve.

I find ultimate care a very good care provider, carers are very friendly and supportive and my brother enjoys their company as well as their caring. Also talking to the people in the office is easy to communicate with and friendly to talk to, happy with the service provided.
We're delighted to hear that your brother enjoys the support and companionship from our carers, as well as the interaction with our office team. Building genuine relationships and delivering care with kindness and consistency...
Excellent care, the girls have such patience with those who suffer from dementia, they do a wonderful job in caring for my friend. I am kept informed about every visit and they are always on the end of a phone should a problem arise.

Really pleased with service this company provided. Very empathetic and reassuring. Our initial search for a company providing the right service initially was a concern as such a mine field out there. So pleased to find a genuine caring company.

Ultima took over from a previous company's, I can't speak highly enough of them, from the very beginning the team have been kind, professional and genuinely caring, knowing my loved one is in safe, capable hands has brought real peace of mind to our family, I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a trust worthy, high quality care delivered by people who go above and beyond.

Since Ultima have been helping care for mum, they have been nothing but professional, kind and extremely caring. They have also helped the family adjust to the many changes we are going through. They take time to chat to her whilst performing the many tasks to look after her.
The kindness they also showed recently when mum was hospitalised due to an infection was really touching always asking after her when I called to cancel calls as she wasn't let out when expected.
Please know were here for...
Lovely ladies at Ultima. Very friendly and always smiling . They have forged a great relationship with my brother (which isn't always easy as he suffers with huge anxieties). Always happy to help. He likes it when they have time for a cuppa and a chat.
Thank you so much, for your kind words. We're really pleased to hear that your brother feels comfortable with our team and that they've built such a positive relationship with him. It means a lot to know he enjoys their visits and the friendly chats that make a real difference to his day. We'll be sure to share your feedback with the carers - they'll be delighted to hear it.
We started using ultima when mum moved in with me the visiting staff are really accommodating and helpful they help with showering daily, dressing undressing putting to bed and meds. I'm happy to work and leave her in their good care all the girls know mum and she loves to have a little chat too as she's grown to know them quite well now, The office staff are also helpful and try to accommodate any last minute extra calls if required . I couldn't ask for more of any of them.
Thank you so much, for your lovely feedback. We're really pleased to hear your mum feels comfortable and well supported by our care team. It's great to know she enjoys her chats and that both our carers and office team have made a positive difference to her daily routine. We truly appreciate your kind words and your trust in us to provide her care.
I have been very pleased since Ultima Care Nursing Ltd have been in charge of mums complex care needs. They have been professional, respectful, courteous and kind towards mum from the beginning. They take the time to get to know her by chatting over a cup of tea and cake which she absolutely loves. They manage her doctor and hospital appointments with ease and also treat her to a chippy on the way home, if she's not too worn out! All in all, great team work to this company as my mum and our family could not be happier and more thankful that you are the ones that are caring for her.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are delighted to hear how happy your mum and your family are with the care provided. Its important to us that we not only meet clinical needs but also make time for the little things that bring joy and comfort. Your feedback means a lot to the whole team and we will continue to do our very best every day.
You staff were superb, caring and kind putting my wife's needs at the foremost in their job with a smile on their faces and also allowed me the time to take our dog Frankie out for a walk whilst they were there.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It truly means a lot to us that you felt supported-not just in the care we provided to your wife, but also in the little things, like giving you the time to enjoy a walk with Frankie. Our team always strives to deliver care with compassion,...
They and her team have always been there for us too, the family, when things got really hard, especially towards the end of Mum's life.
We can't thank them enough, as they enabled mum to have her wish to die at home. They were there at the end, helping her be suitably dressed for her journey onward.
We couldn't have managed without them.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt words. It means a great deal to the whole team. The carers and office staff were truly honoured to support your mum and your family throughout. I've shared this with the team.
We have care for 12hrs a day, covering personal care, medication daily chores, so it is extremely important that they fit in with family life, which they do perfectly and they help keep grandma as independent as she can be whilst ensuring she is safe and well looked after. They assist with hospital and doctors appointments and now the weather is improving they will be going for days out.
We are very grateful to them and can highly recommend them to anyone thinking of having home care.
Thank you for such a fantastic review, we have just now passed this onto our care team and office team
Sometimes the girls come early and thats ok with me. I like going out with my carers. The carers help and support me and take me to my appointments. My old company wasn't as good as Kare Plus. I am glad I am with them.
Thank you for your 5 Star review, We will pass this straight onto the office and care team !
All your people are kind and responsive and we have no adverse situations at all.
Thank you very much for your wonderful review, we have just passed this onto the Care teams and Office teams.
In the 10 or so weeks that carers have visited not one, (of the four), was prepared to read. I asked each what they might do, and each suggested cleaning/ironing. I showed them what cleaning might be done, the most frequent carer performed perfunctory cleaning and on her last visit refused to do dusting because she said that I had not mentioned dusting, and it was not for my wife to task her. She also did no cleaning in the bathroom, although I had specified this.
All in all, the service has proved most unsatisfactory, and to send four different carers to stay with a person with Alzheimer's appears to me to be extremely unprofessional.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are deeply concerned about your recent experience and regret that our services did not meet your expectations. At Kare Plus, we take all feedback very seriously, and your comments highlight areas for improvement. Rest assured, we are taking immediate steps to...
KarePlus Ashford, Folkestone and Hythe - This is our first time with needing care for my mum, so we are in unchartered territory, however, the team at KarePlus Ashford, Folkestone and Hythe have been great, right from the outset. The initial assessment happened within a day and the support package followed promptly after that. The Carers are genuinely caring, which was a great relief, as I know this isn't always the case in this industry. During a very rare GP visit, one of the Carers kindly chipped in with additional comments, and requests (as she clearly had a lot of experience), for which we are extremely grateful. This meant we got more support from the GP than we would have otherwise. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your review, this has been passed on to our care teams and office team.
I feel everybody fully listens and understands with compassion, which I have found invaluable. They do go above and beyond.
We haven't experienced any issues with the carers or the care provided.
Thank you for your wonderful review, we will be sure to pass this onto our care and office team!
She won't go out of the door If it even smells like it might rain!
I prefer to have one particular lady, when she can come.
At my age, I find it difficult to have a meaningful conversation with the younger girls. But they all do a wonderful job!
Thank you for your kind review, we love taking your dog out for walks, I quite often see the care team walking with her behind our offices, I will be sure to pass your kind words on to the teams!
The team are wonderful and really do show care and compassion on many levels. They are professional and reliable and very trustworthy. I would highly recommend Kare Plus to anyone who was needing to put trust in people to look after their loved ones always. Thank you very much to each and every one of you who constantly go above and beyond to help their clients.
Thank you for your wonderful comments, we will be sure to pass this onto our care teams and management teams.

Meet the Team (8)
Founded in 2016
From Humble Beginnings to Leading With Purpose
I began this journey in 2016 with a simple vision: to raise the bar in care. Alongside my Recruitment Manager at the time, Matt Stacey, we started as a team of two. Today, that vision has grown into a thriving family of over 160 dedicated professionals — including 60+ care staff and a passionate office team — supporting over 100 clients and settings across Kent.
Rooted in Kent, Driven by Values
Now proudly operating as Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd, we’ve become more than just a care provider — we're a trusted part of the community in Ashford, Folkestone, and surrounding areas. With over 100 glowing reviews on Homecare.co.uk, we’ve consistently been recognised as one of the region’s highest-rated providers, and we continue to build on that reputation every day.
Professional Standards, Personal Commitment
This business has always been personal. Providing great care isn’t just what we do — it’s who we are. Every service we deliver is grounded in our core values of respect, dignity, and compassion. Ultima Care is not just a company name; it’s a promise to every person and family we support.
Thank you for being part of the journey so far — we’re only just getting started.
Shaping Care. Driving Standards. Leading Growth.
I joined the team in 2019 as Recruitment Manager and quickly evolved my role by qualifying as a trainer and launching my own care training business — which I later brought into the company to strengthen in-house development. Since then, I've progressed into the role of Chief Operating Officer and Registered Manager, helping lead the business through a period of rapid growth and transformation.
Having completed my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, my focus today is firmly on operational excellence, workforce development, and preparing Ultima Care for its next chapter — including the expansion into complex care and clinical services.
I’m deeply committed to raising standards across every area of the business, ensuring our care is not only compliant, but compassionate, consistent, and driven by values.
Outside of work, I enjoy quality time with my family, long walks, and staying active through my passion for rugby.
Precision. People. Purpose.
I joined the team in 2017 and have grown with the business ever since. Over the years, I’ve supported everything from bookings to client account management, with a strong focus on delivering person-centred, efficient financial support across all the services we provide.
Now proudly serving as Chief Financial Officer at Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd, I work closely with our Director on the day-to-day financial operations, long-term planning, and sustainability of the business. My background in the insurance industry — where I spent 16 years specialising in subsidence claims as a Recovery Claims Consultant — has given me a meticulous eye for detail and a strong foundation in complex case management.
After relocating from London to Folkestone in 2015, I discovered a rewarding new path in the care sector and have never looked back.
Outside of work, I love socialising with friends and spending quality time with my family — with regular trips back to London to catch up with loved ones.
40+ Years of Compassion, Leadership & Dedication in Care
With over four decades of experience in health and social care, I’ve dedicated my life to supporting others. My journey has included roles as a Dental Nurse, Carer in both residential and nursing homes, and most notably, 14 years as the Manager of a specialist Dementia Unit.
I hold an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, and throughout my career, I’ve taken a hands-on, people-first approach — something I now bring to my role as Patient Services Lead at Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd. Whether it’s supporting clients, families, or our care team, I believe that delivering outstanding care starts with genuine human connection.
I’m proud to be part of a business that truly puts care and community at its core.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum of four and grandmother of six. I love cooking, reading, and spending time with my family — and I never miss a Spurs match!
Finding the Right People, For the Right Kind of Care
I’ve worked in the care industry for many years, primarily within dementia care homes — a role that brought both challenge and deep reward. As a Healthcare Assistant working under qualified nursing staff, I developed a strong foundation in hands-on care and person-centred support.
In 2019, I transitioned into recruitment and joined what is now Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd. My role covers end-to-end recruitment, compliance, and onboarding — from writing job descriptions and adverts to interviewing, selecting, and welcoming skilled carers into our growing team. I take pride in maintaining close relationships with both new and long-standing care staff, ensuring they feel valued and supported from day one.
I also completed formal recruitment consultant training and became a certified Physical Intervention Trainer in 2019, allowing me to deliver key training sessions to both homecare and agency staff.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to two wonderful children aged 17 and 12, and we share our home with a lovable little pug who keeps us smiling. I’m very much a people person — I love family time, discovering beautiful places, and meeting new faces wherever I go.
Delivering Care with Heart Since 2018
I joined Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd (formerly Kare Plus) in April 2018, shortly after raising my fifth daughter, who was just two and a half at the time. Before entering the care sector, I trained in beauty therapy and ran my own mobile beauty business — but it was the opportunity to care for others that truly sparked a new and lasting passion.
Since then, I’ve never looked back. I love what I do — especially getting to know the people I support. Whether it's helping with daily routines or simply offering companionship, I find it incredibly rewarding to leave someone smiling and feeling a little brighter after each visit.
When I have some free time, I enjoy sewing and crafts (I’ve even made clothes for my youngest!), reading, and, most of all, spending quality time with my family.
From Events to Care — Organising with Heart and Purpose
I joined the team in October 2019 as a newcomer to the healthcare sector, transitioning from a 12-year career in the events industry where I managed everything from global corporate conferences to local private functions. While the industries may seem worlds apart, the core skills of organisation, communication, and staying calm under pressure have proven invaluable in my role today.
Originally joining as Bookings Manager, I quickly developed a strong understanding of our care operations and the vital role we play in the community. Now, as Care Coordinator for Ashford and Canterbury, I manage our care workers' schedules, support client relationships, and help ensure we consistently deliver safe, person-centred care.
Building and maintaining strong connections with both staff and clients is something I take real pride in — I believe it’s the foundation of what makes our service so trusted.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our young son Oscar, going on adventures and making memories with friends and family.
Leading with Experience, Coordinating with Compassion
Natalie joined Ultima Care & Nursing Ltd in February 2025, bringing with her over a decade of hands-on experience in adult social care. With a strong background in supporting individuals with complex needs and learning disabilities, she has progressed from frontline roles into leadership — and now plays a key part in coordinating our services across the Folkestone, Dover and Ashford regions.
In her role, Natalie oversees care planning, staff recruitment, training, and ongoing service delivery. She’s committed to ensuring every individual we support receives consistent, high-quality, person-centred care.
Passionate about community impact and positive outcomes, Natalie brings both compassion and clarity to her leadership — and is a valued part of our growing team.
